What’s your most important drill?
Coach, this is an excellent explanation of this. I have coached in the Air Raid in CA and we regularly passed for 3,000 yards with some pretty average guys.
In fact, I threw my dang arm out doing this!
I love having the QB go through all his reads even after throwing. And simulating man/zone drops, we never did that. Genius!
I am a DC and glad I do not have to play you!
He is great at the details
@@CoachJoeSalas Like all good coaches....
My big lesson this year, is JUST BE GOOD AT SOMETHING…something meaning 1 play.
Agreed. You have to have your bread and butter plays before you get fancy.
Tennis balls are great and we use them every day...but - we also use string balls for our receivers!!! They attach to the chain link fence and are a secret weapon!! Great stuff Coach “Joe”........love the ROA variation....have taken steal that!!!! Count me as a new fan for Coach Townsend!!!!
We used to do a ton of tennis balls. I need to get back to it.
@@CoachJoeSalas hey coach - does Coach Townsend have an email contact that you would be comfortable sharing????.

I absolutely love your Mesh concept as a whole but the 5th read breakdown is genius!
He does a great job! He was recently promoted to HC.
Great stuff coaches!!!!
Thanks buddy
Great stuff here coach! Appreciate the video!
Thanks for watching 👊
More good stuff here Joe!
She’s does a great job. He has a really good RUclips channel also.
Coach this one was gold. You and Coach reinforce the tendency we have to focus on as Air Raid coaches. Tennis balls, QB feet going through progression in routes on air, with verbally calling it out!! Randy Larry Drill!! Loved it and for sure subscribing to it too. Thanks
Coach Thompson is really on top of his game.
