      There is something hilarious in the way they talk. Kinda reminds of The Mindhunter except instead of murder they talking benching.

    Does anyone else feel therapeutic relief when these guys start talking about these indepth topics. Lol I do. I love listening to this. These guys truly were and are students of powerlifting. You can tell what a passion it is for them.

    JM turns off the music. He then whispers to the barbell and listens. Once his whispers have properly echoed off of the barbell and it has told him what he needs , and only then, does he move on to his supplemental work

    please what did he brush over regards tendon strength for the triceps ? Mine are non existent these days

    • @zacheryrobinson8211
      @zacheryrobinson8211 5 лет назад +3

      this is coming in a bit late but hope its still helpful, he mentioned JM presses for his tricep "tendons". What he's saying is JM presses are a tricep exercise that have a lot of range of motion for the elbows, working the triceps in an expanded range, and the fact he can load that exercise heavy is very beneficial to help keep away tendonopathy/ tendon pain.

    Would using a Slingshot be similar or the same as reverse bands ?

    • @multiply765
      @multiply765 2 года назад

      I don't know if you got an answer but it isn't the same the slingshot does not make the weight lighter it makes you stronger the bands pick up a certain amount of weight with the slingshot the weight is always the same. Both are great though

    • @hookgrip4jesus310
      @hookgrip4jesus310 4 года назад

      pawlakowa paused bench (with or without tempo), paused spoto press, etc. Just focus on movements that target that bottom portion of the lift, which is where you’re missing.
      Oh, and bench more in general. Like JM said, you get better at what you practice
