An analog stereo is a very good idea. Great to see BOSS doing something outside the compact series. Maybe they do a CE-1 reissue in that size format as well? I would love to see this happen.
I feel the opposite way, I wish Boss would stick to either the compact or twin pedal form factor, this doesn't fit the Boss aesthetic to me.
Incredible. This is the type of delay unit that I've been waiting for to happen. BBD in stereo with multihead, modulation and possibility for a clearer sound.
You guys created the perfect delay. You did drop the ball on no stereo input and not being true bypass. I play in stereo and never have my delays first in the chain. I really wanted this delay, but mono inputs killed it for me.
Finally, a Boss pedal that really appeals to me. I'll buy it!
A CE-1 with its preamp would also be great with MIDI capability.
A DB-5 would be totally amazing. I know they are not that popular, but having all these sounds of the DB-5 as presets would be a dream.

I have had this since it was released :) and can still say no regrets!! It’s just a wonderful pedal! I have found it to be very musical and inspirational! I know some complain it is only mono IN! but that doesn’t bother me, nobody was crying over the DM-2w for this? The dm-101 is a dream analog pedal! It stays on my board! To put a very short review! It is a Boss DM-2 or DM-1 on steroids!

This unit will work for anything. I play shadow songs through it. Sounds really good.

It sounds very good. Though for $500, I'd like to see stereo inputs on this version first.
@@SilentJayBirdyou guys are dreaming: this is BBD delay, not a digital one. For stereo inputs you would need to double all the circuitry and add additional processing/mix modes. It would double the cost of the pedal and require additional knobs.

I've loved every demo of this unit and I'm probably going to make this my first delay pedal purchase ever!!! Wow, this is a home run! I subbed because I was hoping that someone from Boss will be watching comments here as I have a question about future Boss/ Roland guitar amps. Will Boss or Roland be making a follow-up product to the Blues Cube? I own a Katana but I still feel that an updated Blues Cube or Waza head will be more up my alley. Also, if there is an Updated Blues Cube in the works will there be a head and can additional sounds be part of a download or tone lab type situation instead of those expensive, wonky fake tube looking things? Pretty please, with sugar on top??? 🙏😁

@@sixstringsamurai77 I was thinking of the delay section from the Moog Matriarch. On second thought, I can forgive this device for being mono in. Other high-end delays like the tape offerings today are mono.
@@100DollarHeadache really does not matter so much a stereo input as when you play is only 1 input, any change or variant from left or right is generated by the effects and not the performance, for studio Mixing purposes with 2 different guitar tracks like Double Left and Right make total sense stereo input

@@myuncle2 the truth is becoming famous has absolutely nothing to do with talent. In fact now and at least for the past 5 years, people have lost the ability to even tell the difference between talent and someone who just started. I gigged for decades, got as close as you can get to the top and still not make it and enjoyed a ton of success but music is all marketing, you can make a dog turd famous if you have enough marketing money, its unfortunate but true. I retired around 5 years ago for the reasons stated above but still do home recording for myself and thats as good as it gets
@@BillyBlaze7 So true, I keep playing because I love it, and I know I won't get any money or fame out of it, but I am happy with it. I think on the web you can educate people, but the main market driving force is still tv, radio and papers, and they will decide what teenagers are going to listen.

BOSS, you need to add Send/Return Jacks for the REPEATS so you can put a flanger or phaser in the repeat loop. I can't believe you left this out
