that collection being in the basement and all i would highly recommend buying a dehumidifier to keep the moisture out of the room and prevent those games from being ruined.
Love your collection and the fact that you “keep it real” in that you don’t try to get EVERY single game for every single system but what I feel are your favs. Secondly, I love that your basement is unfinished and that rather than invest time/money into finishing it first, you made it presentable enough to enjoy and even show off your collection. Again, keeping it real. By being this way you truly made your collection the “Star” of the show(video) and NOT the physical space itself. Great job!
I still think this is kind of obsessive collecting. Eventually his kid will inherit this collection and intend on selling all of in bulk, not knowing what to do with them... Or there will come a time when he wants to liquidate and be left with twenty shelves of empty space. I only collect what I have fond memories of, or plan on re-visiting from nostalgia... not getting the most 'rare' title as some sort of game. The worst, are those collectors who use their collections as a way to invest, which is just a poor choice considering the options out there. Cringe everytime I get that impression.. Not trying to be a downer or anything, or act like I'm jealous. I just find it a bit insane how people push themselves to dedicate this much to a hobby and realistically do not play the majority of their games. At least with things like anime figures, there's attachment to the characters people buy or similarly with band t-shirts. Rare collections are just utterly pointless.
I was thinking the same thing… back in my country, people normaly doesent have besements, and i was thinking to build one to make a game room, then i stoped for a sec and made a conclusion… is so mutch better to just build a separate room, fully upper ground to prevent some flood or humidity activity
Loving the setup! You definitely care about how these games are laid out. I always love seeing people go that extra mile when using a standard shelf. Games being displayed in front on an angle, acrylic cases for specific games. looks great
Very inspiring collection, my friend. I'm an avid action figures collector. But lately, I'm getting back my old consoles and collecting games for the for the first time, thanks to videos like this.
This was amazing. I love the cool lights and horror game collection you got there. I enjoy many of these classics and heard of many of these games shown here. I like seeing different unique and fun setups and yours is one of the best. I love cars and gaming and seeing that you made a gaming pc from the engine of a car that's wonderful. The Christmas lights is always fun to see. Cool video. ^_^
I really loved this tour, it was kind of like a gaming museum walkthrough. You have impeccable taste as well. We have like the exact same favorites on Each. Great to see someone else appreciate D2 and Tokyo extreme racer.
Holy sh*t, custom pc built into the engine from your old car - EPIC. To be fair the entire room is epic, but oh man that is a cool pc build. Feels like it needs to be displayed more promoninently. Killer room and thank you for sharing
I like how you used the small bookcases as a room divider, good idea! I sold my collection, but I can appreciate others with collections like this. The DC launch day was 9.99.1999, only reason I remember.
Tyler Esposito from My Retro Life sold his childhood collection of over 1000 games back in 2018. He’s starting over collecting modern titles with his daughter, Haille. You need to check out his channel.
@@efacofiveyou could have a real good style if you spent just half the money you did on clothes instead of games that you have too spend time too play of course are you 20 or something
Love your collection! 100% also agree with your nintendo switch take, I feel bad for barely reaching to my switch to play anything outside animal crossing or the new pokemon games. Otherwise I don't touch it.
considering how connected Microsoft was to dreamcast and that they essentially replaced Sega in the space , you got the of Xbox section in the right spot
FF7 was my first PSX game too...I bought it before I even had a PSX (had to wait for the next payday in order to afford it....that was a long two weeks) but I had FFVI for SNES that I played for a long time before that so when FF7 came out I bought it the day it came out....basically 6-9 I played alot of, along with FFTactics (a personal favorite)
I decided to go all digital for the convenience and ended up selling my physicals tons of rare stuff too but this making me real jealous bro. Also FF7 was also my first PS1 game nostalgic as hell, plus you got Gotcha Force lol I just sold mines.
Be very careful of a all digital collection, companies can remove game from your library without notification. This is why a lot of people are starting collections
Got to upgrade that camara.. It was HARD watching this.. I couldnt make out the names to a lot. Even your fave ones I couldnt tell what game it was.. Hope for a better one for 2024 coming soon :) But loveee your set up!!! Your a pokemon and silent hill fan! :D
you have parasite eve trilogy. i am jealous. those things are expensive and hard to get. i only bought it digitally from the PS store for the ps3 but it's never the same of playing it on the ps1 with the disc.
your missing one final fantasy VII version maybe 2 actually that i can see, one i have its called the advent collection, it was released when advent children came out and its just final fantasy VII international with fancy disc art and a little acrylic stand to house and display em. i believe its part of a bigger set that comes with the wold charm, and a statue of cloud on the bike and some art carts as well with a interactive cd guide. it was released in japan. there is also a really rare mac version of final fantasy VII.... i dunno if it was regional or just that rare some say its the hardest one to find
wow awesome games you have and one question where is the projector because gaming on the projector is awesome that you said one time and hope you be able to buy a house and able to use projector and TV for every gaming and watch movies for home theater set up and the projector you can get for more awesome is a NEC NP-ME331x and i have being google search new ones available so you get one brand new so thats what every projector have so let me know what you think and i love gaming but only racing games because i like car racing on Nintendo PlayStation Xbox and Sega so its fun doing racing games and so on and i was saying about the projector hope you get one and the NEC projector is my favorite because when you turn on the projector to startup it has a beep sound to hear what the projector is doing and even when the projector is having a malfunction it beeps 3 times that means theres a error and when shutting down the projector it has a shut down beep to tell you its powering off so thats my awesome opinion and i love projectors to have a beep sound to tell me what the projector is doing so thats my opinion to have a projector with a beep sound to know what the projector is doing so what do you think and a NEC projector is the best ones out there
Great collection. Though I think you're confusing what is the rarest with games that are the most expensive. Something like Earthbound isn't that rare as an example. You could say that nice complete in box copies are rarer in the grand scheme of CIB copies but even still. Something like Aero Fighter or Hagane is just harder to come by overall. Obviously beyond that you have the competition carts and the combat simulator but those weren't retail releases anyway.
What an utterly amazing game room, I'm lost for words👍👍 Final Fantasy VII is my ultimate favorite RPG too. What fun I had playing it back in 1997!
that collection being in the basement and all i would highly recommend buying a dehumidifier to keep the moisture out of the room and prevent those games from being ruined.

Yea I love that.
Agreed.

Hopefully your basement doesn't flood because you have an amazing collection
P for PP
Please seal your foundation to prevent it.
Ikr that’s exactly what I was thinking, it’s quite risky.
The brand called Kilz, but you’re renting that house. That’s a big issue.

Parabéns pela coleção...vídeo game é minha paixão!
Principalmente o Playstation ❤️👊👊🇧🇷🇺🇲🤜🤛
Thank God for the white lights 😂
Collection looks like it's worth over 100k... But you're renting the house 🤯
True gamer status 😂

pretty cool collection... thanks for sharing
Your collection is off the chain! How did you do the ceiling with the lights? What did you use? Very Cool!
Love the video just subbed to the channel, I plan on doing a game room tour this weekend

I have that same Final Fantasy VII Greatest Hits misprint copy too! It's awesome to know that it's a misprint. I didn't know about that. Very cool!
Wow, you have some cool stuff man! Great collection!
Awesome collection, flooding is my only worry too but I love how organized you are

Amazing setup!
Freaking Awesome!!!
Nice collection! keep it up
Great Collection. I love that Xenogears is out in front. Such a great game and I think the best combat system out of any ps1 rpg game.
Man Good Job, Idk If I Will Ever Make To Do This 👍🏻
Oh wow! Your back! I remember watching your videos around 2008 or something
This is one of the best looking game rooms and game room tours I seen! Great job bro

Awesome collection mate
Awesome dude! But with ceiling and plastered wall it would look more welcoming
VERY MAD AMAZING COLLECTION
I can’t believe you’ve amassed this amount of games in 3 years. That’s crazy and quite an achievement
wow i love this room!
I do love sectioning off rooms with furniture like this. Solid look, though collections in basements scare me. But solid setup!
i thought youd never return, nice to see you living good bro
Your Game Room is so cool I wish I had one like that My Friend
Very nice collection indeed! Do you also have the black label FF7 misprint “masterpiece” variant? I’ve been collecting a few of those.
Can i ask what you do for a living and how long did it take to get this epic collection? Amazing video, lovely setup!
Love your collection! 100% also agree with your nintendo switch take, I feel bad for barely reaching to my switch to play anything outside animal crossing or the new pokemon games. Otherwise I don't touch it.

Early in video, love this set up and the lights. What's the lights?

What shelves do you use for your sega section in the middle?
I might have a couple of items for your FF7 collection
THREAT LEVEL MIDNIGHT POSTER IS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY

jesus crazy collection
Your room looks awesome man, congrats! Very clean looking and I really like how you put the CRT at the corner, it just makes sense.
It’s designed that way the consumer ones are. Professional and broadcast video monitors aren’t really designed to go in corners of rooms.
3 years and has as much as I do collecting my entire life
Would love to know what he does for a living haha
Very impressive collection 👏👏👏
Ah another type of misprint I wasn't aware of for ffvii. I have two other misprints.
In my room I have an xbox series X ps5 real nice television and playstation 4
