This convention was awesome! Also @15:51 I find it funny that there are resellers selling "not for resale" cartridges to other resellers. Seems that it should destroy the fabric of the space-time continuum.
I like this guy, he meets people in the middle ground with pricing and never goes too low unlike other buyers who demand a $20 discount on everything they buy
Mario 3 is my favorite hands down. World has to be decimal points behind. Reason: Mario 3 is super responsive, fast gameplay, it’s almost perfect with almost zero nes slowdowns. The power ups, the amount of secrets, and a lot of short but challenging levels. Keeps the attention up without being so repetitive and boring. Heck, McDonalds had the happy meal toys with figures and all the hype around the game when it came out. This came out when I was 9 years old and holds a deep nostalgia growing up. The raccoon suit and hard-to-get Tanooki suit made the game. Can’t forget the music. Very catchy!
Galaxy 2 Was my favourite. I 100% that game, green stars and all, like 10 times as a kid. I loved the green stars, and the speedrun/time trial aspect when it shows you your fastest time per level, really awesome game.
My favorite is probably between sunshine and odyssey but man galaxy is great and who doesn’t need some Luigi’s mansion in their life :) Thanks for the awesome content! God bless everyone involved!!!
This should have been called "five bucks" because that seemed to be either a deal maker or deal breaker throughout the episode. Great vid, man. Always a good watch.
@19:40 I might regret telling Chase this, but there is in fact many Mario trading cards and I collect all of them. To name a few: 1989 Topps, Nintendo Power Mario RPG cards, various Kellogg’s cereal insert cards throughout the 90’s, Enterplay made card sets for Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Bros Wii and WiiU, Panini made a set in 2022, Mario Wonder cards came with the pre release order from Walmart which had chances for a numbered to /1000 Mario Elephant card. There’s even more sets if you look to Japan. Happy hunting!
Such a fun game! Nobody was expecting it to become such a huge hit for Nintendo! Even they where shocked! I absolutely live that game so much fun playing that as a kid!
Man, I still haven't been able to experience the madness of the Midwest Gaming Classic. One of these days man...I live about 20 minutes away from this convention.

Super mario sunshine is my favorite. I just loved the gamecube and that was one of my first games on it. Was so much fun and i play it every once in a while. Full completed it 4 times now. Last one was almost complwtely without a guide for the blue coins. So tough to remember all 240 locations
7:20 At the top of the shelving unit the Mario VHSs are sitting in front of, there is a boxed Super Game Boy Commander controller. It was severely underpriced at $100. At another booth I saw one loose at the price. I can't find it on PriceCharting, but Gameye lists it boxed at $200. I snapped it up on the second day (I didn't have the cash day one, and this booth didn't accept cards).
Favorite, Mario 64. It still feels magical to this day and the control has surgical precision. It’s absolutely mind blowing. I can’t believe you’ve not played Mario Galaxy 2 because it’s by far one of the very best Mario games of all time and a staggering leap ahead of part 1. The levels are more fulfilling. Other favorites: SMB2, All Stars with World. GBA remasters.
I'm glad I can correct you for once. There are actually Mario trading cards out there. I believe the first ones were made in the mid 80's. But there's a good number of modern ones available.
I went to this but went Sunday. It was way to nice out on Saturday and had a bunch of stuff to get done. First time ever going and was a great time, was crazy to see other RUclipsrs there that i always watched. Kinda wonder if i would have noticed you guys doing your thing
I was hoping there would be a DK Jr. Math :) I have been looking for a decent CIB DKJR Math for years - maybe I will find one at SoCal! (If you don't buy it first! lol)
Donkey kong land 3 is also avilable in colour. There was one version of donkey kong land 3 in colour exclusive in japan. but works on all gameboys since its region free.
its a tough question. mario 64 was the first one i've ever played, super mario advance was the one i put the most hours into as a kid, and super mario galaxy was probably the one i enjoyed the most
my top 5 (in no particular order) probably have to be... super mario world, yoshis island, super star saga, sunshine and paper mario n64... Least favorite probably has to be super mario maker LOL
any suggestions on finding a good reliable camera or go pro idk what everyone uses but i want to make my own channel of me going to conventions or just for making videos i want a solid thing that will last me a couple years making videos and content !
Mario Kart was definitely my favorite just cause me and my best friend and his 2 uncles we would play ballon battles all together and have so much fun together for hours on end lol
Why does every Mario Bros 1 on NES i see people kept the black sleeve to carry the cartridge lol the copy I have came with it also when I bought it from marketplace. Usually people throw away stuff like that
NES - Mario 2 Gameboy - SML 2 SNES - Super Mario World GBA - Mario Golf N64 - Mario 64 DS - Mario Kart DS Gamecube - Mario Power Tennis Wii - Mario Kart Wii 3DS - Mario Kart 7 Wii U - Super Mario 3D World Switch - Mario Odyssey
Mario Sunshine because I was on vacation in Florida when my cousins had summer school and instead of playing outside I played Mario Sunshine because I didn't have it at home and now it's a vacationish game for me lol❤😅😊
Shoulda paid Homie the extra 5 on that boxed game after he hooked you up with every other game bro

Those not for resale text is just a excuse for nintendo to make you think you aren't allowed to resell it.
Is that why that Mario 64 was $200? Its was a variant?

Super Mario 3D All Stars: Am I a joke to you?!

I already spend too much on sealed VHS of Pokemon, MMPR and TMNT, I really did not need to discover that there are Super Mario VHS 🤣🤣
Mental illness? Be well.
Gotta post some more yard sale videos, I watch them all lol

Yard Sale season is comin' boys
Loved this treasure haul of Mario games - great video! Super Mario Land on the GB Pocket was my first Mario too - such a classic!
My favorite is probably between sunshine and odyssey but man galaxy is great and who doesn’t need some Luigi’s mansion in their life :)
Thanks for the awesome content! God bless everyone involved!!!
Just off from work and watching catrp with some food is just perfect greets from holland
Super Mario World is my pick! One of the only games I’ve fully 100% and it’s one of my favorite games of all time.
Garage sale series!!!!! My favorite!! Hope all is well gents! Keep killing it

8:50 mario golf advanced tour is one of my favorite games of all time
I love watching these concention videos! Want more. Keep it up! Love from Norway
Super Mario world. Because there's so many levels and so many hidden things to find.
The very first Mario game is Donkey Kong, as known as jumpman. 😂 hehe
Split between Mario golf and tennis as my favorites. Specifically for N64. A lot of hours logged on both as a kid.

Those prices...i get always jealous...Try to buy a boxed Game in Germany and you have to sell your Mother for it XD
I swear Chase has won lotto - there is no way CATRP can spend this silly even with selling at the same time ! 🤣
Haha - the Crew is pretty efficient in the selling department!
They did bring galaxy to switch... remastered in 3d all stars

Does 3D all stars even count? It was a limited time deal and it only lasted for around a month-two months

Unfortunately, there are only so many hours in a day...I've been a gamer since the late 80s and there are still many games I have not played yet.
Super Mario Bros on it's own with a manual for 25 seems like a steal.
God... I can remember when you could buy a box of old nes and snes games for $10-$20 bucks.
You still can but all these guys here are re-sellers and they know what they've got, and they will not let it go for next to nothing.
The prices are ridiculous. Here in Europe you can get a mint copy of Mario 64 for 30 bucks. $200 is insane.
It’s the not for resale version. Still expensive I guess
