I bow my head to you bro, what an collection you have. Impressive indeed. Also brpught to my heart your C+VG mag oh yeah I smiled, I used to be in there as the world champ in Track & field an such records then was for PSX, stl have them too :) So, many thanks for this impressive tour, and good collectiong to you. Was also impresed to see the ULTRA 64 ..WOW !You seems to be an down to earth man as well, my good man. Thank you for making my day watching this. Salute to you, Rex
Dude, I died when I saw the gamecube and wii games. Even the N64 and Playstation games, I died. Literally I was jealous this person has collected video games WAAAAYYY More then I would.
basically a true gamer does not require to collect games, it's not how many games you have, even with one game as long you played it like there's no tomorrow, then your totally a gamer, not a collector..

not to mention that he has acquired all these games and consoles in Australia! everything is 20,000% more expensive in Australia! this is amazing BTW. beautiful.
If anyone ever asks to check out someone's game collection on RUclips I tell them to check out last gamer as these tour videos blow anyone else's game rooms out of the water ....and its forever growing !
I'm not a collector, but wow. I wasn't aware it was even possible to collect a whole set on any game platform and you have complete sets on multiple platforms. That's awesome.
Can't stop watching this video I'm 41. So we grew up around the same time but in New Jersey USA. I was a Sega guy as well when everybody around me was NES. I had all of the systems back in the day but of course they were very expensive and I was a kid so I had to trade them in to get newer stuff so I live through your videos. I have a pretty good collection but more modern than retro. I would love someday to see your amazing collection. Like I say we're gamers and gamers don't play systems they play games. Love your vid's keep up the great work can't wait to see the finished games room. 🤙🏻🎮👾🙌🏻
This is probably my favourite RUclips video ever. Can watch this over and over, one day we’ll have a decent games room! So inspirational to follow your dreams. Thanks Joel and family, keep up the good work.
The shelving looks very similar! :-P This also would look similar to a Funcoland . Best gaming store IMO, Became GameStop... UNLIKE game stop, you cold try pretty much any game at Funcoland before purchasing. I'll never forget my experiences doing that!
I'm speechless. What an amazing room and slice of history. Your passion and love for games shines in this video. While watching this video I have a new born sleeping on me and as I couldn't play games, I thought I'd watch RUclips game videos and stumbled upon this. Subscribed as a result 👍👍👍
Cheers mate and I'll be watching more of your videos at feeding time. Wish I was as forward thinking as you as a kid and kept my old stuff. I got all nostalgic thinking about cannon fodder on the amiga. Keep up the good work 👍
God damn. I would say open this up as some sort of game library where people can pay to enter and then play whatever they want, but I'd personally be too scared of the consequences. People could end up breaking stuff, scratching, cracking, stealing, etc. I suppose it'll have to be left this way...
I started to really collect retro consoles and computers just over 10 years ago and have spent a ton of cash to get working systems and such...I purchased 3 separate Commodore SX64's before I could have one working system...I can not even imagine the investment you have made. Much of what I purchased is in my classroom at the school where I teach, for I intermittently setup a retro system for kids to experience and play...along with having an introductory game making course. Many of your glass showcases I also have as well(Jysk), I am very impressed...I have somewhat slowed down my rate of collecting since my wife absolutely dislikes anything related to gaming, but it's still a very big part of my past and even present existance. It's also funny that you sort of started with the C64--Amiga---etc while I took the Atari 2600-Atari 8 bit computers-Atari ST-Amiga--- route...I think many from our generation started this way...first pirating computer games then becoming collectors of some sort ..so I am also wondering if you originally ignored many of the 8 and 16 bit consoles during the Amiga era, since you were so busy and happy with your Amiga back in the day, and collected many of the consoles much later...this is the path I chose, and started to collect Genesis and Snes consoles first when I saw the Amiga ports created for them. I used to work in a local Radio Shack where we sold Genesis, Turbo Express, Sega Game Gear and Turbo Grafx systems .Like yourself, I absolutely adore the Sharp X68000(very Amigaish to me), the Neo Geo I still think is an incredible piece of hardware...especially since it's circa 1990 I believe and I also have a very special respect for the PC Engine that I think was massively ahead of its time...the ability of that compact console still boggles me today...I wonder if most Dreamcast and Smart Phone owners know that the graphic processors on their devices evolved originally from the earlier chipsets used in the PC engine my NEC? Very cool. Walking through your store to people such as myself is simply Disneyland...thanks for the video...very cool. I hope most viewers understand that the cost and time spent on your amazing, yet still unfinished museum is 100 percent passion for true gaming "past and future"...something many gamers take for granted. Perhaps when I retire from teaching, I will start restoring like yourself...a very honorable trade.
Mr. SEA divorce the bitch...i understand some people dont like video games, but if its your passion and you can afford it (you have a good paying job) why the fuck is she giving you a hassel about it?
I have to say Last Gamer, You are quite the man. Many people around me don't find it appealing to collect video games or consoles unlike my father. My father is currently going through a very rough time and after I showed him this video, He wanted to sit down and watch the entire thing. He was aweing at everything alongside acting like a kid at some of the selections you had constantly going "Wow" and "My god, What a dream" and "If I won the lottery...". I know it may sound stupid but you did help us grow even closer. Thank you.
Awesome Joel. Love seeing someone live out their dreams. Thx for sharing. Love the editing. I think I would have a nostalgia heart attack perusing this collection.
you have to see the whole video. length it's like a movie.79minutes long. amazing. hope to be another video for missing collection at "spoiler alert" end of video. like game room tour part 2.
Oh my god. I can’t believe you commented on my channel. Of course I know who you are you are one of my all time favourite composers! I know all of your work off the top of my head. My favourite cybernoid c64 and Hawkeye. 🙏 thank you for all your work and thank you for the comments. By the way next month I will show you the next stage of my game room. More than double
would LOVE to see your arcade collection. i liked consoles but only loved arcades to death as a kid and to this day. from double dragon to street fighter 2 to wwf wrestlefest to top gear to outrun to shinobi and so much more.
As a 42 year old I watched this with a tinge of sadness. I've had em all... Rubber key speccy, C64, Amiga, Master System, Mega Drive, SNES, N64, PS1 etc etc. The music, the smells of the cases. Waiting for the magazine releases. All those memories fading slowly away. Do you remember a console called the "PC Engine" I think the UK had imports around 1989ish. Amazing collection and thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I had to subscribe to his channel after watching the first 2 minutes of this video. You can see he loves his games and I'm looking forward for his other videos yet to come.
What a great video. Such enthusiasm and massive knowledge of all things gaming! Just subscribed to your facebook page - Cant wait to see your arcade machine collection.
This is probably the BEST gaming room i ever seen in my life. this game collection is just too perfect! hope you do a new game room tour soon! Greeting from Canada!
I have 118 ps3 games 39 ps4 games 11 psvita games 12 xbox one games 30 pc games but nothing like this collection congrats on the record you deserve it!
I remember it clearly, it was Friday and I was at work when this video was released. Thought would leave early but then remembered I had to attend a party of my friend in the evening. So after work I directly went to attend the party, and when it was time to leave it was well past midnight. So I got home & thought would watch this this in one go but was too tired & couldn't keep my eyes open. So I feel sleep while this video was running in the background. Next day I got and as it was Saturday I had my day off so I sat down with my breakfast, put this video on & watched it all in go till the end. Time just flew by & it was so overwhelming talking all of this. Really can't wait for other tours & videos, exciting times ahead!
Dude... i have to comment before i even finish watching this lol. That complete saturn collection is such an amazing set to own. If I could have a complete set that would be the personal choice for me. Some of those games are going for mega dollars these days and i can only own a select few. The saturns high priced games are actually great games not just obscure. Im a huge dreamcast fan as well. Great stuff man.
I mean even setting aside the massive funds it would take to compile this collection the sheer amount of time, energy and effort it would take is staggering.. Great work man..
your gameroom (gamemuseum lol) is jawdropping, wish i could walk there and look at everything lol, but yeah awesome, and ofcourse your new white style is also so nice, i hope you doing a new tour when you are done :D im going to do a new room tour soon, my collection is tiny but im still very proud on what i have :D o and btw i love your sega saturn collection, sega saturn i my number one fav console ever. and the panzer dragoon games are my favorite on it.
Man, can you imagine having a game room so big, with so many games that you actually have separate aisles of games haha. So crazy. Thanks for sharing! You are a credit to gamers and game collectors everywhere! Truly amazing..
I have to admit being very jealous of this guys collection of games and consoles etc. But credit to him for having a passion I share, but with a lot bigger budget. It would be so easy to collect something like this, and not actually play the games. He clearly has played most of his collection, and has an amazing knowledge.
Last Gamer That is the exact same length of time I have been collecting. The Atari 2600 being my first console. I fell in love with video games though a few years previous. I was in Manchester Airport England in the summer of 1977 and I was blown away by a game that I think was called shark attack,I didn't have any money to play it,but I was watching other people playing it,and I was hooked. I have never grown out of it,and it is great to see someone else my generation that loves them also.
How has this not got at least 1 million views!? Millions of game collectors out there should be wanting to watch this for ideas or just general curiosity. Man put over an hour of his time in this. Great video mate.
I definitely agree. Go to the kitchen, put in some raman noodles in the pot with the chicken flavor packets, after cooking it put it into my giant soup bowl, start up the game and enjoy.
Bein' a pinball collector, I admit I'm always a bit smug and jaded about console games collectors (usually, americans that hoard thousands of Atari and NES carts in claustrophobic rooms), but this is a completely different thing. This is just wonderful, it's a real museum, and you can see the love and passion in every corner. The location itself is fantastic, the displays are bright and clean... also, it's evident you've played lots of those games and you still play them, something that can't be said about compulsive collectors. I've lived the Commodore era, and I think that Cinemaware masterpieces like It Came from the Desert deserve more credit and attention that they usually get (while the usual games by Nintendo and Sega get all the spotlight)... it's great to see you love those systems too. Congrats man, keep up the good work!
Nice one mate.... So good to see those C+VG magazines again. That was my favourite thing in the whole world growing up in the 80s and 90s as an Australian kid living in a regional area. Well done on hanging on to your treasures and thank you for welling up some great memories!
You must be a millionaire just to afford such a collection. Amazing collection. I can't imagine many other people have anything close to this in the entire world.
Congratulations, you not only have the largest gaming room in the world, you are also a savior of videogame memory, make posterity know what retrogaming was and what it is, really good at it. :)
This is amazing. Would have loved to visit that room. Even if it was just for an hour, so I could walk around and admire all those wonderful boxed games and consoles.
I agree. I have a really good job but I still couldn't afford this amount of stuff. He says he makes a living by fixing arcade machine like bow well can that really pay. I would like to see the electricity bill at the end of the month.
You can collect games as it comes out. A system life span is 4-6 years... buy used complete complete games at half to a third of the price of a brand new game. It's doable. I bought 10 used PS4 games for around $10-15 each in less tham 2 weeks.
Truly AMAZING! It's so great to see such a dedicated game collector who really enjoys every aspect of it. I loved every bit of this video and look forward to checking out more of your videos :)
Where can I get those white shelves you use to display your Nintendo 64 boxed games? I am documenting my journey to collect the entire USA boxed Nintendo 64 game collection on my RUclips channel, and I want to get the exact same shelves you have :) I've been a subscriber for a very long time. Keep up the great work :)
They pretty much look like IKEA Billy, Besta or something like that ;-) Could be wrong but if I had to set up such a huge ammount of shelfing I'd definitely look there first because they are OK quality and price as well. Not the best but OK.
Even learning basic katakana and hiragana would be beneficial with all those Japanese titles - very easy to at least be able to read the name of the game on the spine.
There are thousands and thousands of Terabytes of games here.. So no it wouldn't fit on an SD card. It wouldn't even fit on a computer. Only a massive server.
Please see latest room tour video ruclips.net/video/Ox7En_cYAa8/видео.html

You change the definition of "Game Room". You have a Game Museum. Amazing collection.
Congrats from Brazil, Joel

Yes, that's right. A true gamer plays games. Because collector doesn't mean, that he is actually a (real) gamer/plays these collected games.
reyzuna your right
OP Plays "gamer"
What an outstanding historian, never forget our history as gamers.
lol, "never forget our history as gamers" What all 40 years of it? I don't think he quite constitutes a historian.
Ew.
>Less than 68 years of video games history
>More than 5,000 years of analogic games history
I think some modern gamers exaggerate their own stuff.
100 hour gaming weeks is crazy
When i die, my spirit will go there and play all his games until the universe ends.

your gameroom (gamemuseum lol) is jawdropping, wish i could walk there and look at everything lol, but yeah awesome, and ofcourse your new white style is also so nice, i hope you doing a new tour when you are done :D im going to do a new room tour soon, my collection is tiny but im still very proud on what i have :D o and btw i love your sega saturn collection, sega saturn i my number one fav console ever. and the panzer dragoon games are my favorite on it.
Let Friday commence. I tip my hat to you Sir
Stayshtum68 it was not easy 38 years of collecting:)

Jaw dropped to floor. I could just live there. Throw in a box of pizza and some drinks every day and I'll be sorted.
I definitely agree. Go to the kitchen, put in some raman noodles in the pot with the chicken flavor packets, after cooking it put it into my giant soup bowl, start up the game and enjoy.
389 sour, jealous and bitter people. That mentality will get you really far in life.
Congrats man, keep up the good work!
catoblepag 🙏thank you
YESSSSSSSSSSSS IT FINALLY UPLOADED :D
Nice game room! I'm going for a complete Nintendo Wii Japanese Collection
Danzel Curtis nice man. 👍
Nice one mate.... So good to see those C+VG magazines again. That was my favourite thing in the whole world growing up in the 80s and 90s as an Australian kid living in a regional area. Well done on hanging on to your treasures and thank you for welling up some great memories!
You know you got a very large game collection when it takes well over an hour to give a room tour!
Swedish Game Nerd så jävlar sant
This room looks like a store
You must be a millionaire just to afford such a collection. Amazing collection. I can't imagine many other people have anything close to this in the entire world.
Covid lockdown must have been a complete joke for this family lol
These cases fits perfectli in the shelves!
Congratulations, you not only have the largest gaming room in the world, you are also a savior of videogame memory, make posterity know what retrogaming was and what it is, really good at it. :)
I saw this last year and the vids since, the room in 2018 must be massive...time for an update vid?
wow love this metal jesus and reggie should give you a visit
This guy probably has a no weirdo policy :( Except for the nerd, the nerd can always visit.
@@MarshallMathersthe7th MJR weird? Dude he's a RUclipsr and his videos are extremely factual and great for people looking for new games to play
Cofresi100 so I’m not the only one who thinks that
This guy prob has enough money to buy metal jesus and reggie. Lol
I don't think I've ever seen such a private collection of games and shelves....amazing!
There is also a Platinum version of the Goldeneye for the PAL N64. GET IT.
@last gamer, Sorry Mandy, but Joel, marry me.
I only have one thing to say "epic games room" 🖒👍
This is amazing. Would have loved to visit that room. Even if it was just for an hour, so I could walk around and admire all those wonderful boxed games and consoles.
Champion
I am gonna keep it real, No way can you afford all of those games and also those sports cars you have and not be rich.
I agree. I have a really good job but I still couldn't afford this amount of stuff. He says he makes a living by fixing arcade machine like bow well can that really pay. I would like to see the electricity bill at the end of the month.
ThatOneSceneDude I've heard that this guy is a stock trader
Psycho Surfer who cares mate his made good in life
Well, it is a collection, and he gained that stuff (the games) overtime.
You can collect games as it comes out. A system life span is 4-6 years... buy used complete complete games at half to a third of the price of a brand new game. It's doable. I bought 10 used PS4 games for around $10-15 each in less tham 2 weeks.
You are a credit to the gaming industry. Absolutely amazing collection!
it begins.
Truly AMAZING! It's so great to see such a dedicated game collector who really enjoys every aspect of it. I loved every bit of this video and look forward to checking out more of your videos :)
I freaking love Aussies
You need to do a collecting guide on video games, now that would be great to have as a refrence guide for other collectors
Brett Crick I agree that a guide book of all the games would be phenomenal. I would definitely buy it.
a huge THANKS to share this with us!!! (collector from France)
Where can I get those white shelves you use to display your Nintendo 64 boxed games?
I am documenting my journey to collect the entire USA boxed Nintendo 64 game collection on my RUclips channel, and I want to get the exact same shelves you have :)
I've been a subscriber for a very long time. Keep up the great work :)
They pretty much look like IKEA Billy, Besta or something like that ;-) Could be wrong but if I had to set up such a huge ammount of shelfing I'd definitely look there first because they are OK quality and price as well. Not the best but OK.
Last Gamer tells us where we can get those white shelves you use to display your Nintendo 64 boxed games!

Thank you! :)
U know ur a true gamer when u defend the psp go
I am fillled up with a strange emotion that is a mix of jeolusity, anger and faboulisty. Well done man
Amazing Gaming History Archive. He should request entrance money, I'm sure he would get lotsa money for showing his museum. Both thumbs up!
Klaus Hergesheimer thank you 🙏
Joel, do you have intention to learn japanese? Thanks for the video, awesome collection!
Léo Araki yes one day I should
Even learning basic katakana and hiragana would be beneficial with all those Japanese titles - very easy to at least be able to read the name of the game on the spine.
Wow! Not only the greatest video game collection known; but you did it from Australia! That's like being the worlds best goalie with one arm.
bigger than your local gamestop lol
my biggest fear when it comes to something like this is bit rot. if only the games would just stay perfect forever.
Benjy Bumbrix they can there's a spray that can help and keep it air tight sealed
Its not just the fact you have so many games but your presentation is magnificent
And all this fits in a micro SD card..
HAHA precisely what i was thinking I have many complete rom sets.Which I obviously own.
Leon Carlo Torrents
Not even close
There are thousands and thousands of Terabytes of games here.. So no it wouldn't fit on an SD card. It wouldn't even fit on a computer. Only a massive server.
Elliot Pierson he was joking... but still nes games and such can be stored in a micro sd card without a problem...
pls pls pls get an fm towns car marty and review it!
This collection is nuts! Thanks for the tour!
Epic! Although I think ALL NINTENDO GAMES & SYSTEMS should be highlighted upfront. 😆👍👊✌
EPIC BLASIAN next time
Last Gamer Awesome 😀
nah sega all the way lol
it's nice to have money. lol
Just love how you from down under says: so yeah, ehm yeah and so on. Sounds bloody awesome!
Joel and John Hancock need to do a collab!
i wonder how much he's paying for his electricity bill lol
Viet Tommy probably nothing just for this video
