I'm glad there were no deinos in the water, made your escapes more interesting! Seems like cerato in evrima is becoming what dilo was in legacy, the most feared and most hated carnivore. At least in legacy they generally ate all of what they massacred... really hope a change happens so that carnivores aren't constantly needing to hunt and kill for the sake of diets. Would be cool if some nutrients could also come from mineral sources that are found in certain parts of the map.
Hopefully bigger creatures like Rex, Trike, and Maia make Cerato more balanced. It's meant to be a scrappy scavenger, but rn its the apex land carnivore.
What you're asking for is to make the game extremely boring for carnivore players. You would lose what little players this game has left. That's like asking people not to shoot you in a team deathmatch FPS game. What else are they supposed to do for fun?

It was a calculated risk for sure! But I figured I was dead if i did and dead if I didn't. It is a horde test, so there's usually less deinos in most places they'd usually be, so I took a chance on there being none and it thankfully paid off!

You're meant to be immersed in the world around you and enjoy playing as an animal with every aspect, not just hunting. If you want a game solely focused on pvp you're better off with PoT, because as far as my understanding goes, the end goal isn't to have carnivores constantly killing everything in sight but to allow for many different opportunities like nesting and exploration. The game aims to be more of an immersive experience than anything else, and thats not for everyone, but it is for some.

People tend to play things they can survive best as, that can also catch some fights in their lives. Cerato is stinky strong right now, so they're dominating the population
Literally makes me want to stop playing. One of the biggest things for me tho is the complete lack of interactivity between herbis and carnos. Herbis will curb stomp anything short of a completely fully grown carni and even then it’s weighted on herbi favour. I hate this mentality of ‘cera is filling a niche for Rex and allo’ but like…. Ok? When are we gunna get those? How long is cerato gunna remain broken to hell bc Rex is still 2 yrs away?? Why can an adult carni not even kill a low-mid herbi?
Also ceras at this point are basically to me just like pachies at any point before 6.5. Able to basically stun you, chase you down, outnumber you, kill you, really anything to annoy you regardless what of what you are and depending on how lucky you are, you won’t really survive.
Fr! Before at least Carno could smack them around pretty good, but currently with the weight changes and all of Ceras and buffs it doesn’t have much competition atm Carno doesn’t stand a chance unless they outnumber cera. The downsize removed the threat ceras experience, while carnos also had to be cautious of ceras. You can run but you need to stay aware. Hope Allo is added soon

That cerato encounter in the highlands, oh my lord. Really cool to see the change in tactics by both parties, and it is absolutely insane you escaped that! You're easily one of the best TI players out there.
I love the feeling of barely surviving ridiculous situations. This game can somehow make you act and sometimes even feel like your actual real life is on the line and I don't think that'd be a thing without the often 2+ hour long growth times.
Yeah. I had a 9 Raptors vs 2 Stego's Situation as the Stego. And 4 Deinos joined in. We were heavily injured and out of stamina but a Mudpit gave us hope xD. Killed most Raptors and 3 Deinos.
I absolutely love an adrenaline rush. There's really nothing like that moment when you've somehow lived through a situation you definitely shouldn't have

You are easily my favorite Isle content creator, I can’t explain it well rn but the way you edit and narrate seems so natural and creates such nice pacing, plus your music choice really sets the tone without it being distracting due to volume or something lol. I also love that you know when to switch between running and fighting, bc with your skill it makes for such dynamic and interesting scenes!
It's crazy through how many changes this game went. I remember years ago, even before legacy there was a new map that had only carno and raptor in the beginning. We had massive Utah vs carno battles with like 30 utahs vs 30 carnos xD it was pure, glorious mayham.😊

Beipis finally got a natural enemy now, it's not the Giant Deinos It's the Elite Fish, they can eat Beipis now Not like they needed one, quite unnecessary if u ask me... Avoiding a Deino only to get swallowed by an AI Fish is quite the Death
@@MrElrondmcbong That's weird, though tbf I only ever play on officials so it might be different but ever since gateway arrived the Deino population got smaller and smaller over time, so much so that these days I just drink or sometimes even swim pretty much anywhere I want with no worry and never get ambushed by a Deino, even in hotspots like south plains it's safe %90 of the time and even when it's not I usually spot the Deinos before they have a chance to catch me.
GG- the Green Cera in highlands, funny to be caught in a video, that was a 5th cera that killed the juvi, we 3 adults were out if stam and gave up the chase, well played indeed
I wondered if it was you who got him, because i ran around, bridge side, and saw him and the body, i invited that cera to group and watched him instantly get reked by a smaller deino, and fyi, if you stayed a minute longer, there were 5 other teno in the area running full sprint at us, they killed us all, you were avenged 😂

I cannot BELIEVE that you escaped *twice*!!! I talk about poor decision making from The Isle players all the time (the community needs to git gud, legacy coddled most people too hard), and you have some of the best in-the-moment thought processes. In the entire time EVRIMA has been released, I don't think I've ever seen someone brave enough to swim across that entire distance in the highlands lake. It definitely looked like that adult cerato was in the red with starving, because that was totally NOT an accident that he killed the sub like that lmao. Man, what an exciting video! The music choices were great too. I had no idea that little nook was even there, totally going to note that for myself later. What a survivor :]
I honestly wasn't sure I'd get away with swimming across Highlands lake, but I figured it was the horde test, very few people grow deinos in the early tests. But yeah, it's a really great nook! I tend to be constantly scanning my surroundings for hidey holes. Always good to keep them in my pocket just in case things go south!

It just needs a few small tweaks and it'll be fine. Mostly on the food amount vs diets given front. As long as I can reach 33% on all and not be on the verge of starvation, then it'll be okay
Its been harder for ever one, herbis have the luck that their food just spawns. Carnis get no food from their kills, that they have to risk their life for, while they have the new mega drain
I've had less trouble on carnivore as AI is pretty plentiful if you know where to look. A single goat will fill a fresh spawn dilo's lines to 100%. Same with a deer and s and a boar and dots. There's a few areas with all three, making dilo an easy grow. Cerato and carno are a little bit harder, but the smaller carnivores do have ai options for all of their diets
@@dinometta It does depend on ai luck/locatiln and dino choice yea, the problem begins past fresh spawn. A 40% utha couldnt fill it self with more then 10%, while before the update the same food source would have filled a fully grown one over 80%. Keeping up with hunger/diets past the spawn phase is also way too hard to be enjoyable right now. To add to that really big/small stuff struggle especially. Is it doable? Yea. Fun? No. Quite literally punishing all players for something a minority do.
Wll good news. The bile amount per bite got multiplied by 0.5 or reduced by half. So that should deal with the overpowered bile bite. Dont know if its reduced too much though. Will just have to wait and see

That was originally my plan, but when the third appeared and they used sheer force to try and overwhelm me at first, I decided I needed to survive(I didn't want to regrow before I could try again to find a zombie)
i starve many times as carnivore cuz ai didnt show up, as an herbi is hard at the start but once u pass the baby stage u r good and u can be on ur way to get 150% growth rate
I haven't had many issues on carnivores as AI seems to like spawning on me constantly. But I can understand why they're difficult to play, especially right now
pretty sure if you have the mutation to get water from rain you can sit in the water and it will absorb into your skin so if you have to fight and need water you can stand or swim in it so it at least won’t drain

Was checking if I ever commented on this and apparently I didn't but I've been thinking about this for a bit lately and I commented on Acro's video recently on it as well. But basically, long story short I wish they would just revert carno mostly to where it was in 6.5. When it had acceleration, it felt overall like a much heavier creature, especially with its charge attack. Plus it was balanced well then as well. Imo all they should do is increase its max stam by about 10-15 seconds from 6.5 and decrease the charge cost to 5% instead of 10% from 6.5. Decrease ceras max stam pool by about 10 seconds or more as well and other than that make it like it was in 6.5 as well. If you wanna see this but on a larger scale I guess check Acro's comments on... I'm pretty sure his most recent raptor video? Pretty sure that's where I commented it. I just want carno to be fun and feel like an animal again lol. I think we could all agree carno was pretty balanced in 6.5 aside from the atrocious stam cost on charge.

Yeh, i was trying to survive with a ptera, I fished a full stomach without any progress on the dots diet, i thought maybe it was the type of fish or something but no matter what there was zero progress. Idk what happend but thats super unplayable lol
Yea its horrible, i run with my 80% dibble in highlands and just eat all plants that i found for 30mins and i got 20% food.... i hope they change it, its horrible to play this way
At first the changes sounded nice, especially the diets working at any percent now and also a higher growth rate but its completely impossible to fill a diet to that point
Ok honestly I wouldn’t really mind if they nerfed cerato to where it was super weak at this point lol. As long as I can still play the underdog carnivore and it’s not the meta that every other player plays? I could probably handle playing it. And also if they can move carno more to where it was in update 6.5. 6.5 carno was the most balanced carno imo and the only bad thing about it really was the atrocious 10% stam cost on charge. Change it to 5% and carno’s good imo, and maybe a couple more seconds of max stamina and a little less max stamina on cerato.

Now it’s overpowered beyond infinity and everyone plays it (mainly the sweaty combat kos players and I don’t like when creatures get a bad rap like that - I might enjoy pvp but I usually don’t kill everything just because)
Watching you play makes me wish servers allowed carnivores to pack with herbivores. I've love to RP as a raptor that was adopted by a teno lol If my teno buddy gets attacked, I'd just eat the other carnivore
Haha, official servers have no rules, so technically you are allowed to do so! Most people just also pretty heavily frown upon mixpacking so they may attempt to kill you both if they spot you
Yes, left and right mouse buttons both apply different types of damage(bleed or raw damage). Pressing wasd will also allow you to move around between different pounce slots. Space bar is the new dismount

So they didn't fix certain foods only giving you a tiny amount of food/diet, they just spread it to all of them. Neat!

It's crazy through how many changes this game went. I remember years ago, even before legacy there was a new map that had only carno and raptor in the beginning. We had massive Utah vs carno battles with like 30 utahs vs 30 carnos xD it was pure, glorious mayham.😊

I mean to be fair basically no one plays Deino anymore so it's nice that the few Beipi players that exist will at least have something to deal with.

@@MrElrondmcbong That's weird, though tbf I only ever play on officials so it might be different but ever since gateway arrived the Deino population got smaller and smaller over time, so much so that these days I just drink or sometimes even swim pretty much anywhere I want with no worry and never get ambushed by a Deino, even in hotspots like south plains it's safe %90 of the time and even when it's not I usually spot the Deinos before they have a chance to catch me.

GG- the Green Cera in highlands, funny to be caught in a video, that was a 5th cera that killed the juvi, we 3 adults were out if stam and gave up the chase, well played indeed

I wondered if it was you who got him, because i ran around, bridge side, and saw him and the body, i invited that cera to group and watched him instantly get reked by a smaller deino, and fyi, if you stayed a minute longer, there were 5 other teno in the area running full sprint at us, they killed us all, you were avenged 😂

I cannot BELIEVE that you escaped *twice*!!! I talk about poor decision making from The Isle players all the time (the community needs to git gud, legacy coddled most people too hard), and you have some of the best in-the-moment thought processes. In the entire time EVRIMA has been released, I don't think I've ever seen someone brave enough to swim across that entire distance in the highlands lake. It definitely looked like that adult cerato was in the red with starving, because that was totally NOT an accident that he killed the sub like that lmao. Man, what an exciting video! The music choices were great too. I had no idea that little nook was even there, totally going to note that for myself later. What a survivor :]
I honestly wasn't sure I'd get away with swimming across Highlands lake, but I figured it was the horde test, very few people grow deinos in the early tests.
But yeah, it's a really great nook! I tend to be constantly scanning my surroundings for hidey holes. Always good to keep them in my pocket just in case things go south!
I always take the convert dmg to stam when I can. It helps in situations like this. Nice escape.
Yup, I was running that perk! Probably kept me alive, giving me enough stamina to not drown!

Its been harder for ever one, herbis have the luck that their food just spawns. Carnis get no food from their kills, that they have to risk their life for, while they have the new mega drain
I've had less trouble on carnivore as AI is pretty plentiful if you know where to look. A single goat will fill a fresh spawn dilo's lines to 100%. Same with a deer and s and a boar and dots. There's a few areas with all three, making dilo an easy grow. Cerato and carno are a little bit harder, but the smaller carnivores do have ai options for all of their diets
@@dinometta It does depend on ai luck/locatiln and dino choice yea, the problem begins past fresh spawn. A 40% utha couldnt fill it self with more then 10%, while before the update the same food source would have filled a fully grown one over 80%. Keeping up with hunger/diets past the spawn phase is also way too hard to be enjoyable right now. To add to that really big/small stuff struggle especially. Is it doable? Yea. Fun? No. Quite literally punishing all players for something a minority do.
Wll good news. The bile amount per bite got multiplied by 0.5 or reduced by half. So that should deal with the overpowered bile bite. Dont know if its reduced too much though. Will just have to wait and see
It's still high enough to vomit a grown carno in 1-2 bites, but at least it's less potent against the larger animals now
So many Cera, so easy to grow them, and so strong

i starve many times as carnivore cuz ai didnt show up, as an herbi is hard at the start but once u pass the baby stage u r good and u can be on ur way to get 150% growth rate
I haven't had many issues on carnivores as AI seems to like spawning on me constantly. But I can understand why they're difficult to play, especially right now

pretty sure if you have the mutation to get water from rain you can sit in the water and it will absorb into your skin so if you have to fight and need water you can stand or swim in it so it at least won’t drain

Was checking if I ever commented on this and apparently I didn't but I've been thinking about this for a bit lately and I commented on Acro's video recently on it as well. But basically, long story short I wish they would just revert carno mostly to where it was in 6.5. When it had acceleration, it felt overall like a much heavier creature, especially with its charge attack. Plus it was balanced well then as well. Imo all they should do is increase its max stam by about 10-15 seconds from 6.5 and decrease the charge cost to 5% instead of 10% from 6.5. Decrease ceras max stam pool by about 10 seconds or more as well and other than that make it like it was in 6.5 as well. If you wanna see this but on a larger scale I guess check Acro's comments on... I'm pretty sure his most recent raptor video? Pretty sure that's where I commented it. I just want carno to be fun and feel like an animal again lol. I think we could all agree carno was pretty balanced in 6.5 aside from the atrocious stam cost on charge.

Yeh, i was trying to survive with a ptera, I fished a full stomach without any progress on the dots diet, i thought maybe it was the type of fish or something but no matter what there was zero progress. Idk what happend but thats super unplayable lol

At first the changes sounded nice, especially the diets working at any percent now and also a higher growth rate but its completely impossible to fill a diet to that point
It's not too hard to get the 33% on all three, but maintaining it once you're there, that's the hardest part
Ok honestly I wouldn’t really mind if they nerfed cerato to where it was super weak at this point lol. As long as I can still play the underdog carnivore and it’s not the meta that every other player plays? I could probably handle playing it. And also if they can move carno more to where it was in update 6.5. 6.5 carno was the most balanced carno imo and the only bad thing about it really was the atrocious 10% stam cost on charge. Change it to 5% and carno’s good imo, and maybe a couple more seconds of max stamina and a little less max stamina on cerato.
Cerato just makes everyone want to die at this point. I'm so sick of them, and their insane overpopulation
@@dinomettaexactly. Again the main reason I have a love/hate with cerato. I loved it in legacy because it was the underrated, underplayed underdog. Now it’s overpowered beyond infinity and everyone plays it (mainly the sweaty combat kos players and I don’t like when creatures get a bad rap like that - I might enjoy pvp but I usually don’t kill everything just because)

Haha, official servers have no rules, so technically you are allowed to do so! Most people just also pretty heavily frown upon mixpacking so they may attempt to kill you both if they spot you

Yes, left and right mouse buttons both apply different types of damage(bleed or raw damage). Pressing wasd will also allow you to move around between different pounce slots. Space bar is the new dismount
