The Omni's evasiveness is simply an unreliable way to avoid death when attacking another dino. Your pounces are not exactly easy to land, and bucking can get you dead within seconds (even if you're actively trying to disengage immediately). If omnis were less squishy it would make up for this to some extent, but thats not really the intended play style. Realistically omnis need a stickier pounce, a more control over when they can dismount, and perhaps a smaller hit box (but idk). Also, I honestly don't know how good their bleed or damage is while latched on because Ive never been able to kill anything of a decent size before they get a hit on me. So its also possible they could use a buff to their right click/left click actions while latched on (but I have no idea).

If the Devs want a ''Diverse'' ecosystem for their game...They're failing miserably at it..... Buffing things that didnt deserve it, nerfing things that didnt deserve it, adding completely busted broken classes far to early like Allo, Rex, Trike, instead of smaller tiers that would have made more sense... I'm disappointed Devs....Extremely disappointed.

How do you get such clear footage? When I record it it looks fine and same thing with the performance while I play but when I watch the play back its blurry and seems like the frame rate drops significantly

I just hate how the roles are pretty much reversed. Prey is hunting predators. I just think that all the herbs need less health and lower stamina pools because they can 1 shot or 2 shot all of the predators essentially. However I would just be satisfied with a stam and speed nerf to all the herbs except Gali. Ceras alt bite was busted before and it's even more busted now. I would like it a lot more if it was something that slowly applied damage overtime and if you didn't smell for a plant that could cure the poison and eat that until you healed. The more bites the faster you're tick damage. Overall I think it'd make it more interesting. Than oh you ran into a cera, barely any stamina, no food or water. That or make it to where it only does 20% values of your stomach, no matter the size of the dino. Either way, you got charge bit five times, vomit and you're more susceptible to vomit afterwards. Just make predators faster and have more agility.

In an ideal world, any and every dinosaur would have some serious anxiety seeing a pack of 3 or more raptors approaching.

I hoped their bile output=weight based would balance out how much ceras have to bite certain things, like raptors being a couple bites, carnos being several and stegos being a lot. But now I think it’s still buggy and probably wasn’t intended to work how it does now. I hope they fix it. Honestly carnos and tenos should take the same amount they did before, but raptors and dilos should take 2 bites at full stomach to vomit, and a stego or deino (if they could vomit) like 10-15. And also bring back the slide and/or cooldown to the charge bite. And please fix the weird attack jittering that happens when you spam click an attack, I hate my attack half playing and then stopping resulting in less dps because I took more time to actually activate my attack.

I rarely ever play raptor but if I do it's usually BECAUSE it is a pain, I mean it is a high risk right reward playable and with one of the shortest growth times I think it should be a pain to be solo as one because at least on paper it's strength scales pretty well with numbers and that's the point. For example, 2 fully grown Omnis have a combined weight of 900kg, but they are stronger than a 1000kg Carno in terms of their combined damage output. But of course this doesn't work with every playable. A better example might be; imagine a 9 ton T.Rex, if you attack it with half it's weight in Omnis (10 Omnis) it would be far more dangerous for the T.Rex than any single 4500kg animal.

Hey Metta you can still eat Dilos organs and get nutrients as a raptor. I eat organs from every kinda corpse when playing as Ptera, but it applies to any dinosaur as long as you’re not cannibalizing when you shouldn’t be. I should say, organs always provide nutrients as long as they’re not rotted or from a member of your own species when your own species is not in your diet.

Idk but evrima feels impossible ro balance with this roster. And it feels more imbalnced sinced the last changes.

personally the biggest issue is the ping on the official servers with ppl hitting bs shots and u not being able to hit any, that and sideways dibbles with hitboxes 2x their size, its infuriating to die to a way you yourself couldn't predict because the game said so

I cannot comprehend how some Isle RUclipsrs play on servers where their ping is 80 to 100+... I always pick the servers where I have around 40 before logging in.

my personal experience as a raptor main, i think we've become less common because of just how squishy we are, essentially being killed in 4-5 bites, while it takes us significantly longer to take down a bigger dino, even with a pack. that along with how gimmicky pounce can be. my biggest issue is releasing from pounce and i get thrown in a random direction that ends up getting me killed, its quite frustrating

Here is the biggest issue: Bucking can throw you off in 1 second ( RNG) Dismount(Spacebar) works after 2 seconds. Meaning a chance exists for you to simply fall off before u can do LMB or RMB pounce or even jump of directly. (And die because of it, think landing middle of a stego hitbox and its swinging you) This in turns brings a fear with it due to how bucking is set up that you dont wanna pounce long, meaning: you don't actually deal any bleed damage, we did some testing and 1 omni could not even take 10% from a fg Stego with its full stamina bar, and we all know you won't even get to pounce it for 3 seconds, due to how weight affects how fast you get bucked. So all in all, a deadly cocktail to waste 1 hour and 20 min in Survival and feeling you have been done dirty. Can you still play and succeed? sure i was able to kill stuff bites only. and ofcourse the pin mechanic is very powerful.

I haven't seen the video yet but I'm pretty sure is bc ceras are extremely OP now, Herbie's makes extremely big packs and pounce is the worst thing in the world rn cuz is bug asf, that's what I feel, I'm not particularly a raptor player but I like it and now kill a single cera with a pack of raptors is actually quite a tough task, and for a half a ton of dinos making pack doesn't make much sense to me the fact that cost so much to hunt decent preys for a pack, cuz a herrara surely wouldn't fill a pack of raptors and 2 ceras can beat a pack of 10 raptors no joke

I watched this video ona night, but I see this is the magical "Algorithym likes this video" type of deal for you.

This is exactly why path of titans have become superior to the isle, stam regen has become absolutely terrible and everything literally uses a large amount of stam which i understand but not a very fun concept, only good thing about the isle is it's combat, very intuitive and fun. pot is filled with mix packers and the amount of abilities in that game just makes it hell to deal with a bleeder like giga, hard hitter like eotriceratops and a chaser like raptor.

For me, one of the things that most discouraged me from playing is the new map and the migration. It became very difficult to locate myself amidst so much rock and bush. It's a cool environmentalization but it's stupid that, when we don't know the entire map decorated in our head, out of nowhere we fall and die. Or, looking for ways to find water, and migrating.. I don't know if it's because I have autism, but the location for me is horrible, and I can't find anyone to at least help me like a herd or something. I played for pure fun. But it seems that now I need to dedicate myself twice as much to be able to play a little without dying so easily, for stupid reasons. And the sad thing is that I can't even watch people fighting in chat since there's no longer a global chat hahaha Then I'm just lost, in the middle of the woods and unable to even ask for a little help in chat xD

It's not just the isle other games too, it's a general bias of the population toward meat eaters

Hackings so bad i uninstalled The Isle from my PC today and deleted it from my Steam library. I'll never play it again. Whats sad is there are only a few hundred people who play anymore and that number is dropping fast because of hackers

It should be against the law to cheat in online games. Like charge these fks criminally. As they are ruining games that cost people $50-$100 not to mention all the time people put into these games and the dev's spend hundreds of thousands to millions making these games. They track Julian Assange and keep him trapped for 10 years over him just running a website. Then they should do the same to the people who make these hacking programs and the people who use them!
