In your videos it actually seems like The Isle is fun game. Shame everytime I return to it I am plagued by bugs and mixpackers that just suck the joy out of it.

I play a game of herra today, born from egg with 4 other siblings We live on a small island east of West Rail. An adult herra soon join us. It was amazing. There was no croc in the water, it was great. All made it to adulthood! Eventual we log off one by one. Then an army of cera came and we lost Zander the Herra. R.I.P Zander.

just tried raptor. killed myself 8 times trying to spawn somewhere with food, finally stole some meat off of some carnos found and joined a pack of raptors and then fell to my death after my first succesful pounce was on a herrera... in a forest.

Just spamming clones from afar with not much cost to it is OP. it needs to change. Either have the clones do little to no damage and the dilo has to be in a certain distance from the target and not too far away but can spawn it quickly with limitations to how many clones you can spawn, or have it do damage but dilo can't spam it endlessly. Also Dilo bites are too fast making the application of the venom easy I guess it makes up for the hit box.

I would highly recommend playing on the Islander Semi-Realism server, mixpacking is not allowed and people actually play their species correctly, I was in a raptor pack earlier this year and it was extremely fun, also played as a croc in a croc infested lake at one point and despite croc gameplay being mostly waiting around it was still really fun

Seeing more maiasauraus etc..but I think the thing with herbivores and omnivores is that it's very easy to survive as them..at least I thought so with my stegosaurus..just hit 100% and no real threats..unless all deinosuchus players across the swamp and riverdelta suddenly ganged up one me...

im a new player and personally have been having a blast playing around as my favorite dinosaur from Jurassic park. i've seen plenty of games were you have to survive raptor, but now that i have a game i can play as a raptor, i can finally live my "clever girl" moment. that being said, i definitely see your issues here. in the 2 or 3 days i have been playing i have had several raptor spawns and most of them i didnt even make it past half-grown due to being mollywhopped by boars of all things while trying to pounce them and it not working.... and i still have yet to even see any of the smaller prey like frogs

Herbivores are honestly better suite to the No-Ai servers, since their food isn't Ai it's still readily available.... I believe the point of those servers is to have most players play as herbivores and THEN have players join as carnivores, giving them a food source.

I remember the Legacy days with Dilo, when night vision really was just a small "lightbulb" and depending on your dino the range increased. By now.. it feels like every carnivore I play can see the whole map in night vision. The good old days where u feared dilos at night are over currently. The idea of the venom is quite nice.. but it shouldve either been a venom with damage over time (which would kinda be like bleeding) or dysfunctions like unable to bite sometimes while theres a bit of fog or other visual distractions. Your idea is quite nice as well and I would prefer this to the venom now which is useless if the Dilo AI doesnt work properly (and since u can not see atleast "ghosts" of them u have almost no way to know if they work or not). So yes, I agree with the idea to make the venom much more powerful, frightening and confusing to get the advantage of people really not knowing which dilo is the real one so you can slowly bleed them out. But with the venom being only partial great for killing when you dont even have to re-apply during night and all the rest of Dilo basically being useles.. he should atleast gain some agility or resist more fall damage. it is also a joke falling down like 5m and die from it as grown Dilo.. I could trip and fall 10m and probably survive it if I dont land stupid xD Dilo is basically my fav Dino and somehow it feels like watching is getting reworked to being "better" whilst gettin... weird

Again like with Deinos being cannibals, mix packing isn't the problem. Some mixpackers using it to create unfair situations and then throwing their weight around is the problem. There is nothing wrong with a Deino-Beipi group, the two are in many ways designed to be complementary. There is nothing wrong with being a scout for larger dinos as a hypsi or a Ptera, or to follow behind and scavenge as a Troo, or even being a group of eg 3 stegos and 4 gallies trying to ward off predators in the migration zone. The problem comes in when people form large mix packs which weren't balanced with the idea of cooperation because they were never meant to cooperate just because it makes them nearly unstoppable. Herbivores being aggressors for no reason other than they can is a problem, because it indicates a bullying behavior. Large mix packs of (real life example) stegos and carnos running around and killing everything in sight is a problem, because you are at that point not doing it for survival, you are doing it to ruin the game for others.
