PS. This video took SO many days of work to make.
Pretty sure it will be demonetized in an instant because it's anime music, so it was really only possible thanks to the Patreon supporters!
I had a credits roll for them inside the video itself but I think something wrong happened in the export, so I'll write their names in the comment right under this:

racist camera /j
The content of the actual video is so good an out of focus camera doesn't ruin it at all, loved the video
Please! React to Ori and the Will of the Wisps OST! It is a masterpiece
That's a racist camera right there. Grounds for legal action.
I like the fact he dresses just like an average Stand User
This guy is a freaking legend!
Menacing
Either a stand user or a Kansai yakuza.
Stand is Blackdog of Shimano.
EXACTLY, LIKE, IS THS NOT A STAND USER
must be a work of a stand user
@@blackjacktrial Majima is such a bizarre character that he would fit right in JoJo so easily
Fun fact: this song has a special place in Yugo Kanno's heart and is a piece he is very emotionally attached to since, according to him in an interview, it took a lot of trial and error to get this song to sound _just_ right
And he absolutely nailed the song. More fond with Josuke’s theme but Giorno’s theme would always be there next on my special playlist
He's made so many incredible tracks but to me this feels like his absolute Magnum Oppus
ok
i love this guy, he has so much personality and fashion that he feels like a real life stand user.
He feels like if Avdol wasn't actually from Egypt
@@VegaFic you mean Avdol from Italy?
This, like Megalovania, is an example of an overly-memed song that also happens to slap *hard*
Between those two, I'd dare to say Golden Wind triumphs very heavily.
However they work the best when you put them together. I'm sure someone already did a mashup between the two somewhere on the internet!
@@AlexMoukalaMusic the mashups are incredible. Combine the groovy-ness of GW with Megalovania’s incredible malleability and you get a match made in Heaven.
@@AlexMoukalaMusic it exists here you go lol ruclips.net/video/ZufwRWceXlc/видео.html
Also baka mitai
@@y0av359 yeah that’s a really good song, very emotional. Another example is Never Gonna Give You Up. A great love song IMO, and Rick is a great singer, but his fairly successful carrier skyrocketed when he became one of the longest running memes in existence.
Japan really do possess a LOT of amazing composers with YK initial and 4 letters on their name
- Yugo Kanno
- Yuki Kajiura
- Yuka Kitamura
And if you stick around long enough, you probably have heard some of their songs.
Yoko Kanno 😂
Ah yes I really like Kajiura's music
kajiura is monster when i found her in madoka magica
Obviously a hit
Yoko Shimomura is a slight exception. lets just pretend her last name starts with a K.
I love JoJo and Madoka Magica, Yugo Kanno and Yuki Kajiura have to be my favorite of all time.
- Prove his Italian origin like a GIGACHAD
- Casually drops some french
- Refuse to elaborate further
- Continue with his amazing analyse
As an Italian that regularly watches him, I couldn't be more surprised
@@matteosignor4256 same
I'm surprised this many people didn't know. I'm sure Alex mentioned it quite a few times already
You forgot the Japanese part after French
And then he said ミラノから来ました which means "I'm from Milan"
If Alex Moukala had a Stand, it'd be a Stand that allows him to perceive only phenomenal soundtracks.
Does he only perceive phenomenal soundtracks, or does every soundtrack he perceives _become_ phenomenal?
It'd probably be op somehow
Alex Moukala’s stand will give him the ability to make ANY SONG funky
His *stand* would take on the shape of a sheet-music *stand*
nah, his stand's ability would be to allow Alex to slap fast without editing
2:16 One could even call it.. Vocal percussion on a whole 'nother level, coming from their mind.

Aaaaah!! I want golden wind!!!
The wind metaphor part blew my damn mind, that's so incredibly clever! I always flip flop on my favorite jojo part as far as the narrative goes, but this theme is easily my favorite piece of music from the series. That and the track that plays every time Polnareff is attacked in a bathroom lmao
That scene will be forever etched in my memory 😂😂
Ay look who it is,hello!
it reminds me a LOT of Flight of the Bumblebee
@@JM-nothing-more I had that thought too.
I didn't notice the wund bit either, until he brought it up! I can appreciate it much more now
I think the "angelic" melody in his theme is also a direct refence to his lineage, seeing as he's the son of Dio AND Jonathan
It's also worth noting that part of the track has the same melody as dio's theme only sped up
WHAT
@@AlexMoukalaMusic yea, there's been some comparisons on youtube for years i think
Now that you mention it....
Since Giorno has a certain connection with Dio, that's a given.
Especially Finale Of Golden Wind.

Expectation: a musician enjoying good music
What I got: a 13 minute analysis of every single part of the song mentioning from its geographical background to musical layers
Also reverse-engineering the music. Damn.
thats even better
• Mans appreciates good music
• Can play instruments super goddamn well
• -Speaks- *IS* Italian
• Dresses magnificently
• Funny as hell.
How can I not sub?
OMG This is so educational!!! That you for breaking this track a part and showing us the individual components. I would have NEVER guessed there was a polyphonic chorus in the vocal stabs.
11:08
Finally someone appreciates how beautiful Coercizione is. Extremely underrated portion of the track.
My favorite
Yahh goosebumps for real.
Absolutely the best part
Dude, your suit is amazing 😍 also, Giorno's theme slaps so effing hard, my reaction to it it's exactly like yours everytime
This outfit in particular was inspired by Goro Majima from Yakuza. :)

The outfit I'm wearing in this vid is inspired by Goro Majima from Yakuza. I'll probably make an fashion advice video on it at some point.

Dude you are disgustingly knowledgeable about your shit, be it language-wise, fashion-wise, and especially music-wise. Got yourself a sub.
When you said that the solos sound like they're battling just made me realize that it probably represents the forces in Giorno's personality. The Joestar in him facing off with the Brando for supremacy.
Golden man reacting to Golden Wind
2:17 you could even say it's a vocal percussion on a whole 'nother level
Coming from his mind??
Aaaahhhh, he’s golden wiiind

The angelic sounding chorus is even more fitting when you realise that Giorno is the Son of DIO, can't get more messianic than that
Honestly, I’ve watched many RUclipsrs analyze Jojo’s music and I do have to say that this video was the most entertaining and fun to watch out of all of them. Would love to see more Jojo’s analyses from you, because there sure as hell are tons more great songs in the ost!
2:37 I love that you pointed that out, I love finding neat things like that to appreciate even if they weren't intentional
Alex is the only Jojo character that keeps changing his outfit.
hearing someone that usually speaks english speak italian with such a good axcent is really unexpected! (even as an italian)
Wow, Alex. You didn't hold back on analysis and production for this. I really appreciate the isolation of parts and recontextualizing. I came to you because of your epic FFXIV Endwalker Anime cover, but man will I check every video of yours out! Well done!!
Me seeing the name: “Seriously? This just took a sudden turn for the awesome!”
9:30 “now this kinda feels like Mario kart”
What the fuck I’m literally playing mk8 deluxe while listening to this
I never thought I would love this track even more
Thank you Alex for making this song even more lovable
This analysis makes me enjoy the music so much more just because he brings these little details to light. Also your reactions make me enjoy some parts of the song that I didn't pay much mind to, now I have to bop my head at the saxophone part lol. I would love it if you analyze some more JoJo themes like Diavolo's appearance or frankly any theme can't wait for the next upload :). 13/10.
1:14 *Holy shit!* 😳
He’s bilingual, musically-talented, handsome, and enjoys anime. What an absolute chad!
This theme may be overplayed / memed to death but it's a genuinely good song. The whole piece slaps and not just the piano part (my favorite is whenever the sax comes in). Also, I just love when choir is used in modern pieces like this, it's so satisfying.
Another absolutely amazing analysis! Part 5 is my favorite and Giorno my favorite JoJo, so of course I absolutely love this track even if it is a meme. And I was definitely blown away by this track when I first heard it, it's just absolutely incredible!
Also, for the angelic parts, it also makes since not only is the antagonist named Diavolo, but also Giorno is the son of DIO: the son of god
He can frickin create life, too
the angelic choir is the part that really sells me on the GOLD in golden wind
I can’t believe you hadn’t reviewed this soundtrack already ! LET’S GO
8:40 That is genuinely how wind is done in old movies. I remember all of that from old American cinema clips as how that would be represented. Very interesting that it was put in a song.
O mio dio....sono rimasto colpito per quanto sia fluido il tuo italiano
Cioè e incredibile quanto la tua conoscenza delle 3 lingue sia perfetta, con l'inglese sembri un madre lingua
This video just randomly popped into my reccomends and I'd just like to say that I appreciate Vivi on your desk
Je t’adore les réactions sont incroyable et le choix des ost d’animé sont magiques continue 😁👍👍👍
As a woodwind player the distortions in the sax solo are made by playing with the reed and your emouchure. It's definitely a SKILL to bend notes like this on a woodwind instrument.
Fellow Part 4 enjoyer. Good taste. It's insane how layered this theme is.
I just really like watching you analyze tracks because you put that emotion that some people lack when analyzing things on youtube. You can perfectly recognize what the composer felt when playing this track and vibe along with the feelings he poured in the songs. Un saluto da Roma
This video is just so joyful, I love your enthusiastic commentary and analysis :)
In terms of japanese composers, you absolutely have to check out the music Hiroyuki Sawano has composed for a plethora of anime, it's amazing.
He has done that.
I'm pretty sure you're new here
I love how you break down the music you cover, I always feel basically illiterate as to how music is constructed and it's interesting to see it broken down the way I could more easily do to something like a novel's structure.
I was waiting for this one, and you didn't disappoint, you're more reliable than Koichi
Just braking out the Japanese after switching from English to Italian to French(?) caught me off guard; I was unfazed by the first two language changes, but that third one got me especially with understanding it somewhat
I didn't even notice the transition from Italian to French without going back to listen again another time
Holy s.hit, i never expected that a reaction video can be made this way, so fun and also very informative, professional.
Sky high production quality, leagues better than anything, thanks for the work, i am already a fan after one video.
This was definitely one of the most in depth reaction videos from someone in music. Went into so much detail, and didn't drag the video on for 45 minutes, it was really nice and refreshing. Nice compact and in depth. I wish I could do a 7 page like on this video
I'm surprised you've never done a video on this considering you would literally fit into that story perfectly.
Your breakdown of all the different parts of the song is brilliant! You almost make me want to become a musician myself but my last name is Kanao so no way. You should also react to Grimm Troupe theme and Nightmare King from Hollow Knight those are two of my favorite video game themes and I would love to see what went into making those as well. Great video as usual and please keep it up!

Such a great breakdown of this masterpiece, it helped me understand why exactly it makes me so hype. And who better to do this than the real-life Jojo character himself.
We stan a funky italian king. Also thank you for your cool insights of nerd music. Much apreciated.
I have been making my way through the manga parts available in English before starting each part, but my god, does the music make me want to start each part immediately. The Stone Ocean theme is also really nice!
DUDEEEEE COME ON SUUUCH A GOOD VIDEO HOW COULD YOU CUT THE CRESCENDO AT THE END LITERALLY THE BEST PART MAAAAAN WTFFFFFFFFF STILL AMAZING VIDEO
HOLY CRAP 9:00 I never even noticed the strings in this part despite how many times I listened to this. So fucking cool!
I love this guys energy, takes and variation its so refreshing
So this is Giorno’s theme. You should check out the other JoJo protagonists’ themes. I think they’re all equally good and fit the characters.
This guy is even wearing clothes that looks like he can be a powerfull stand userm that adds a cherry on the top
I know you are Italian alright... No other country in the world would have a man named Alex who wear award event clothing in their house casually.
Broooooo , i usually dont comment but man you are mad underrated, im comparison to so many "Vocalists, Producers, Musicians" who do fuck all but go, wow amazing, oh wowzies, you actually take apart the song and explain things, Respect, love your shit and sick scream
1:10 went from English to Italian to French to Japanese 💀
(I'm most likely wrong but cmon)
They really nailed getting you hyped and I think the instrument players just having fun on their instruments to a funky tune with the epic quire nailed that feeling for sure.
8:34 there’s actually an accordion song that does the same thing emulating wind sound if i remember well the name is “flowers on the wind” or something like that and the entire music is tou going up and down in the cromatic scale
I just love that we get little to no warning when Alex transitions to a bass remix of the track he's breaking down! Sends chills down my spine every time!
That guitar solo at 10:30 reminds me a lot of the Eggman stages in Sonic adventure 1 and 2
Watching you bop and nerd out over music is incredibly fun. It's the perfect way to get dancing and ready for a night out. Thanks
4:27 total funk power!!!

Alex, so fly af with that jacket. Love listening to you and your take on music. I hope that your channel keeps growing. So deserving. Keep your energy forever!
The saxophone part always reminds me of Bayonetta personally! So groovy!!
You got my subscription when I saw vivi chillin on your desk. You’re awesome man!
OH FINALMENTE un Italiano che sa parlare bene inglese e ci fa anche i video. Fiero di tre bro❤
Man literally dressed up as a stand user.
Can't argue with that.
Hey Alex, just wanted to comment to say your channel is one of my favorites! I love analyzing and breaking down music in games I play but frankly I don't have the composition know-how to go anywhere below surface level, so watching your videos always makes me incredibly happy. My friends always get tired of me yelling about music stuff (like Destiny 1's "Young Wolf" track) so it's nice to tune in and be part of an audience that actually cares about this sort of thing! Looking forward to the next one.
Finally someone who can put vibe into words for this theme
Always appreciate these insights, especially sandwiched in some great editing and extra work. The way the music keeps fading while he's still talking makes the whole video flow much more and you never get the feeling it's "talking block - music block - cover block", it's almost like the video itself is cut in a way to make it as whole and complete feeling as a song would.
Also will say that I always think about Bayonetta combat endings, when I hear the song end. Same energy.
Goddam I love it when you make funk reditions of ANY music! I love your work Alex!
when you started speaking italian i was like what the... i loved the joke of the english and the skin, haha. I think you late change to french? idk i'm spanish, i understand easily italian but french? nope nothing.
A bit off topic but it's very interesting how people say Italian and Spanish are similar!
They definitely are more similar to each other than other languages are, however I remember when I went to Madrid a few years ago I had a hard time!
Beautiful place tho.
@@AlexMoukalaMusic Sadly languages being similar doesn't necessarily translate into understanding most of it. Though I think native speakers might also just speak too fast or use dialects etc., so at times it might be easier to understand languages through reading.
Please more JoJo content 🙏
Your analyses are always working so brilliantly with the themes of the medium itself and as a big fan of JoJo's who doesn't understand music very well, but enjoys it greatly, I'd be down for more videos like this!
Keep it up man!☆
Hey, I want to suggest reviewing the soundtrack of Risk of Rain 2. Keep up the awesome work!
You nailed everything that I love about that track. I can recognize that this track is a masterpiece and can hear some of the nuances of the music but explaining why it is a masterpiece is hard because I don't have much knowledge with music and this video really explains it very well.
one of my favorite channels on this site man. love that positive energy, and amazing content bro 👑
your own ad before your video? What an unusual thing to see. Ok I'm in. I like your work. The analysis is really good you made me hear it piece by piece. Now I do pay more attention to it. And I LOOOVEEE bass, so that's it for me.
I love all the full explainations on how the song, voice is made, fulling making sure you understand what is happening and how it happened.
A music reactor that doesn't just spam out reactions and goes in-depth. My god I can't believe it.
12:40 that giggle sounds evil it fits really well with the piano gah dayum
What's your take on the original AOT song? It's a very odd song that definitely became iconic over time, I wonder what your breakdown would be
4:29 - 4:39 this part sounds so nice I genuinely thought it's part of the original track which I just realised it isn't because I have never heard of it.
11:08 Dude that part is also my favorite, it's just so divine
At around the 11:30 mark it reminds me of something from twilight princess
Loving your videos! Glad you pointed out the fact that the strings emulate the sound of wind; that's something I picked up on one of the first times I heard the song and just compounded my love for it.
RUclips recommended the video and it was fckn fire man, when I heard his favorite part is DIU I subscribed instantly. Very entertaining content and very interesting to know a little bit more about how music is made, keep it up man🔥🔥
I really appreciate how you break down the individual layers. In music like this my ears can pick up that something really interesting is happening but my lack of the methods keep me from really understanding what it is. After watching your videos I can listen and appreciate more with that understanding instead of that sort of confusion.
