      This is well done Mark. Podcasts can be a good strategy, but they take some time to really gain traction. I co-founded a VC software accelerator and produce our podcast ("Startup Stories from the Treehouse" - my co-founder hosts). It really takes a full season of 6-10 episodes to prove out. If you can leverage your following on RUclips to drive traffic you could get to an audience there faster. But you'll definitely want to use something like Simplecasts to publish to Spotify/Apple - that's where you long-term audience growth will be for this type of content. Thanks for all your work on content here - delivering this level of quality consistently is challenging....

    This is such a wonderful discussion that highlights that Filmmaking is more than a vocation... it is a lifestyle, and it reflects who you are and who you aspire to be. I'm truly grateful for AOD and the insights you both share so authentically.

    This was an excellent exploration of filmmaking and the thought process. Operations management with an arts focus is a unique cross section of experience. If you are serious in this need let us know. I feel pretty sure that you will find people with this experience in your audience.

    I love the business partnership / relationship you two have, and hearing how you discuss it.
    I love your more philosophical conversations.
    I love the community you’ve built, the team you’ve built (Kim, Landan, Lewis!), and how good you both are at teaching more generally.
    I just love all of this. Thank you for being awesome.

    Michael Del Monte, I know you struggled in school, but that’s no reason to trot out trite, bigoted stereotypes like that there are “no atheists in a foxhole”.
    If you can’t get your point across without denying the convictions and humanity of people that don’t believe the same as you, then perhaps you should talk less.

    All of the courses look amazing. I am almost tempted to purchase all of them but was wondering are there additional discount codes in addition to the early bird sale? Also, I am interested in having the opportunity to meet for office hours which will available in module 2, but I have not completed module 1. I definitely know I want to buy Module 1 and the Cinematic Eye, but am wondering if it is premature to buy Advanced Doc.

    • @markbone
      @markbone  5 месяцев назад +1

      The additional sales are when you bundle. You can save $1300+ off the regular price when you bundle them together. You’ll see in the shopping cart how much you’re saving with each additional product
      And it’s never too early to jump into the advanced if you’re looking for feedback. This is great at any stage. There will be questions you get answered in the advanced course (module 2) about your directing that will help you in tandem with documentary foundations (module 1)
