Congrats Tinman, as you know 25+ years ago I had a TC Contender, it was a lot of fun in Silhouette, I had three barrels, One in 7mm TCU a 14 inch, one in .44 mag a 10 inch and one converted .44 mag to .444 Marlin 14 inch. it was a match gun I bought 2nd hand, but it shot well and had all the match sights already mounted. won a few medals and prizes with it. Peace out dude - Dave
I remember you telling me about that. I’m excited to start getting into wildcat cartridges with this platform. Silhouette shooting looks like it would be a lot of fun.
@@TinManReloading If you get into Silhouette, It's addictive because it is a lot of fun, they usually have great placards, trophy's and Prizes that you can win, also most of them have a over the top cook out BBQ afterword's. I would caution you on how far you get into it, It will become the Wife's "Other Woman" in your life dude. Peace Man.
I only had the drill the holes in the bottom of the cabinet twice on the microwave install Saturday night. I checked everything twice except for the orientation of the template. But then everything went really smooth after that. It was fun joining the chat, even if it was just for a few minutes.
I did shoot some, just haven’t edited the video yet. I think I should have done a 110 grain instead of a 150 for supers. Might have to do some of the light ones going super fast.
I'd love to have a TC or SSK in rifle format with Shortest legal barrel I could have in Canada. It's legal & doable but holy crap I just couldn't afford it. No reason I couldn't get a long barrel sleeve for one of my SBS shotguns though? Yours looks great, you looked like you were having fun! That firing pin falling out thing bugs the hell out of me, you have to get that figured out.
Single shots are super fun. What’s the shortest barrel you can have? 14”? Yeah, prices are a bit crazy on Contender stuff. We will get the firing pin figured out. Thanks, Mike!
@@TinManReloading In Canada we can have something as short as 26" if it is manual operation & the barrel must be factory made, not homemade so I think we could go as low as about 10" or so depending on length of pull.
I ordered this barrel it arrives tomorrow. What size height rings did u use. How many mm is the objective lens on the scope sir? I appreciate your time.

👍🤠🇺🇲 Awesome. Glad you finally got one.
Thanks, Rick! I’m super happy with it. They’re a ton of fun.
Excited for you, finally getting that thing together. Nice choice in the coffee furniture. 👍
Thanks, Harm! It’s really fun to shoot. I’m really happy with it. Gonna start collecting barrels now. Lol
That thing is awesome. I had a coworker that was going to sell me a contender 308 but he got cold feet. Definitely a fun gun
Man, 308 would be a handful in a pistol! Lol. They are tons of fun. Thanks, Jeff!
Hiya, TinMan! Congrats on the new arrival!
Hey, Walter! Thank you! I’m very happy with it.
Great looking pistol!
Thank you, GhostRider!!!
🍻 Cheers! You have a winner!
Thanks, Les! I’m super happy with it.
Ooh these are fun!!!
Yes they are! I had a blast shooting it! 👍🏻👍🏻

Owned a couple back in the 80's and 90's. Wish i still had one
The old ones are nice. I like the blued look a lot. They’re still out there! Definitely a fun platform. Thanks, Trees 👍🏻
Look real nice. 👍 The Firing pin bits shouldn’t fall out so inspect what’s going on there. 👍
I’ll have to figure it out. Might ask Marty what he does to fix it. Could always peen it out a bit but I’m worried it’ll break.
That looks very nice. Pretty neat to just swap out barrels.
Thanks, brokeloader. I’m curious to gather more barrels and see how versatile this thing can be. Might have to start loading some odd cartridges. Lol
The last two were looking good . I'd like to see some supers too .

@@TinManReloading ya , no point in going half fast . 😁

Nice Pistol I just asked Marty for one of the HausOfArms Logo’d ones and will slowly build it up to go with my 5 Encores
that bit should be a press fit into the hammer and should not fall out. if you contact ssk they can probably get you a replacement hammer.
I figured it should be press fit. The pins have splines on them. I will do that! Thank you.
