Watching you talk about our limited time literally cracked me up because I am the same as you! Can't find 30 minutes a day to work on a book I am writing but of course I know Selena Gomez is engaged and how the one direction guy passed away! Crazy how we waste tour precious time. LOL
I am so glad it resonated! I feel like once in a while it's ok to watch trash tv or something as long as it helps you relax, but it should never come at a cost of other things that bring us value and quality! Also I went through very similar things to you, changed career like 3 times, moved more than I can count and I have 2 chronic health conditions that I manage - so I know how overwhelming and taxing it is! Be very patient and gracious with yourself. Whatever you choose, I am sure it will be for the best! Sending a big hug :)

I have recently been going on my own journey of quitting things that I shouldn't do or don't need. It has taken some time to make them into habits, but as I've been going, I've been able to reflect on the last month each month and notice the improvements in my quality of life. Things were slow going at first, but it all feels worth it when looking back on where I was. Thank you for sharing your journey through your videos. It's valuable to me to see the path that others have taken and know that I'm not alone in feeling like I don't always get it right the first time, and find myself falling back into doing things that I told myself I wouldn't. Your videos are encouraging, and enjoyable to watch. Thank you!

Yes! Why do we care so much about celebrity’s lives more than what is going on in our own!! Why do we do that! It’s gotten to the point where l don’t care about social media anymore and just want to be outside and live in the moment.
I do not follow any prominent celebrity/ mainstream media now. I see the news casually just to stay informed about major events. I think youtube allows us to follow and connect with like-minded common people (like you) and learn and share experiences and wisdom. ❤ No point of giving our mental space to celebrities just beause of their popularity and making a mindless run to imitate their journey.
You are so lucky Daria to have shorter height. Less bone injury, NO extra leg space on flight, easily squeeze in smaller spaces.....😅 Yes, most of us tend to think good or bad about something based on the comments other people. This hinders our rational judgement. Moreover grass looks greener on the other side of the fence. Tall or short, fair or dark, slim or fat are all different shades of nature. There is no point of worry unless it becomes a cause for disease (like obesity in case of surplus fat) Lets embrace the features which we have been bestowed, aspire for better but not at the cost of spoiling the present.
I know - especially because the pressure comes from so many sources! I also fall victim to pressuring myself for not being 'where I am supposed to be'. It takes time to learn to take pride in where we got to and who we are :)

And then, strangely, once I got energized out of work, I found more joy in my day to day. What industry are you in? Q4 is usually tough so make sure to rest well and take good care!
@@GigaChadBigW Sounds extremely creative! Someone recommended to me to do outside of work the opposite of what you do at work so that your brain can rest the regions that are overheated. Like if your job is analytical, do something extra creative or physical after work. If your work is creative, do something that's more down to earth and does not require much creative thinking. Maybe this helps? But also if you are unhappy for super long time, and nothing helps, you could ask yourself whether maybe it is time for a change

Also, youtube is a great source of inspiration and free knowledge (my partner is a fan of Potato jet, Matti Happoja, Fulltime fillmaker, Peter McKinnon..) but also do not be afraid to make it your own, experiment, to find your own style! You will do just amazing and the learning process is worth the time :) and thank you so much!!!

(not something you hear anywhere:) I keep listening to her and like her content. I recommend for those that want a logical and entertaining view on what ever goes in the world... based in critical thinking besides the main stream media. In that she rants about pop culture, yes she could fall into the category you mentioned, yet I see that she really filled in a gap for you people that need to be informed about politics ( from a conservative pov) Great video by the way!!! 😘

I'm glad to see the people are finding some use in this video I think it's worth noting that a lot of this advice is extremely simplified. It's not as simple as checking it off of a list and it's totally okay to fail at quitting. It's also not as easy as just getting help if you live in a country that doesn't offer any resources and it is not your fault if you don't have access to the help you need. I share this as a person who really wanted to better myself just to realize that I fell beneath the barrier of entry to most of the recommendations. It's hard to eat healthy if you can't afford it, and it's hard to do much of anything if you have to work four jobs to keep the lights on. I say this just in case anyone else on a self-help Journey who is in a similar position happens to stumble upon it. Life isn't hopeless, but if you don't recognize the privileges of those giving you advice it'll sure feel hopeless when none of it works. So take what advice you can but don't feel guilty for not being able to do it all.
I agree that it is simplified, as most of my videos tend to me - otherwise they would have to be hours long and I don’t think people have time for that! But I never said it’s easy - quite the opposite. Took me years to arrive at these lessons, they are all hard won, and most of them are for now realizations that I am slowly turning into practice - with effort, and struggle, and definitely not quite there yet - as I said in the video. But I do hope these reflections can help someone arrive at their own, and hopefully in less time than it took me. I also hope that despite all hardships and roadblocks you will always find the strength to make tiny steps that can help you feel better and have a happy life, in whatever shape and form you wish!
