Not only that but 45 is a handgun, basically a handcannon. "As long as I'm shady, he's going to have to live in my shadow." Get it? Shady? Shadow? And "ain't nothing changed but the locks. So before I slay this bitch, give jade a kiss." Jade is Hailies middle name. And the rapper Jadakiss (jade a kiss) was in a group called LOX (locks). Eminem does a lot of world play and metaphors that can easily be missed.
@@Washanuga yeah but it's what was in the song she was reacting to. @@Washanugaa triple is kindergarten level? Why does every reactor familiar with hip hop goes crazy with that line then? Also, yeah: you’re being a dick
"The game's mine again and ain't nothin' changed but the locks So before I slay this bitch I, give Jade a kiss" This bar got me all the time. Jade is Em's daughter Hailie's middle name. But there is a rapper called Jadakiss and his group name was The Lox back in '94. How do you come up with something like this perfectly layered lyrics Em.
I usually disagree with people when they say this about Em's lyrics because they are normally reaching, but that line is actually a triple because the locks also refers to his hair. Blonde to Brunette.
Lot Of People Don't Understand The Line "I Say One Call To Interscope And You're Swayze" Referring To Patrick Swayze, Meaning All It Takes Is For Em To Call Interscope And MGK's Career Is Dead
Not just double meanings, he got triple and quadriple meanings in his bars. Even the way he says a certain word can be a bar. MGK just doesn't have the mental ammunition to do that.
one of my favorite parts was when Em said, "Had to give you a career to destroy it" plus the reason all this popped off was MGK who was 20 or so at the time and commented on a picture of Hailie. I believe she was 16 at the time so that's what Em was referring to when he said "Little white toothpick thinks it's over a pic"
funny part, em wrote this in like 15 minutes or something like that. ems at his very core is a battle rapper, he came up in battle rap and he knows how to contract his words to maximize the damage.
This was a masterpiece, anyone who don’t know rap thinks MGK won 😂 Em took everything in rap devil and threw it back at him with clever wordplay and unmatched creativity and beautifully constructed rhyme schemes
Have you heard this lovely song called "Kim" by the rapartist Eminem yet? It´s a beautiful ballad in which he is proclaiming his intense love for his former wife Kim. It´s a really heartwarming piece of art and you should really give it a listen. But be warned, it´s very moving, so keep a box of tissues ready.
Even better when you read Rapdevil next to it... he addressed everything MGK said... also, A LOT of double entendres everwhere, like "playing dead is the only time you hold STILL" or "hold STEEL", like holding a gun... Also, you should react to "Darkness" or "Walk on Water" next! Edit: little disclaimer, Darkness maybe a little triggering for some people. Also, skip the first 5 seconds of the music video without watching.
Like another guy here in the comments has said. This is your page, feel free to pause ANY time you want to! I want to hear what you think about everything. just back it up a touch when you start it back up so you dont miss anything and youll be golden!
double entendres is a big thing in hip hop but whats crazy about em and a few other rappers is that they write bars that are tripple and quadruple entendres.. eminem is crazy Even the name of the song is a reference to a movie called killshot where the main character is named colson just like mgk and ends up getting shot to death xD
Great reaction! To me, I always thought MGK's "diss" was a good song. Good beat, catchy hook and good punchlines. But don't know how much of a diss it is when he complimented Eminem throughout while throwing disses here and there. Eminem on the other hand, a true diss song. He basically 8 Miled MGK. Took everything he said and used it against him with lyrical mastery and double meanings throughout. Also, son-ed him and called him a Stan at the same time. Em just disses him throughout. Rap Devil = good song but not the best diss. Killshot = masterful diss track.
Things that people often miss about Killshot: The song is a reference to the 2008 film Killshot, where the main characters Wayne and Carmen *Colson* are hunted by an assassin. MGK's real name is Colson Baker. The line, "I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze" refers to Patrick Swayze who is widely known for starring in the movie, _Ghost_ ,where Swayze's character gets shot and killed. What's also crazy about this line is that Patrick Swayze passed away (in 2009) on the same date that Killshot came out (Sept. 14th).
Cannot tell you the chills I got listening to you talk about the chills you got, you got it, I got that you got it, so no more need to talk about it, 😂 since we are not alike. Oh, Kathryn, I’m just playin, you know I love your reactions. 😎😎😎 ✨✨✨ Anyway gotta do that at some point, (Not Alike) pretty please, it is truly an amazing track and alludes to the genesis of this whole ordeal.
Just fyi there was soooo much you missed and it was basically respond to every thing mgk said on his diss and EM dissed this MGK soo hard he made him leave RAP and made his life literally a nightmare , he literally freaks out every time he hears EM's name and he is going through a depression just cuz of one single DISS ,
Of all the double-entendre's here, here's a little jab... "I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze" Patrick Swayze was in a movie called "Ghost" Meaning Eminem can make one phone call and MGK's career is gone.
Just to add another level to this song that gets overlooked often: The title, Killshot, is also the name of a 2008 action film directed by John Madden. The movie focuses on a couple, the Colsons. MGK's real name is Colson Baker.
Please react to Legacy by Eminem. It’s such a good song. If you want bars upon bars then listen to Wicked Ways. You might wanna have lyrics for that one lol.
Fun fact: the sonority on two sentences are double entendres: gunner? bitch you aint a bow and arrow”, sounds also like “gonna beat you in a bow and arrow”, like: im gonna go easy on you (other disses of eminem were way harder, despite this one is hard as well) And the other: “got to wake a labor day to this? Sounds like “gotta wake a labor day to DISS?” That is called homophonia, same sounds to different words, you hear what is written but also what is not and both make sense.
I was so happy to hear MGK came at Eminem knowing how it would turn out. I'm from the Cleveland area and can't stand MGKs corny ass rhymes. MGK might have had 1 or 2 lines that grazed EM but EM was landing jabs, hooks, and upper cuts in his response through kill shot. And you can tell he was taking it easy on MGK. Just using his own stupidity against him. I wish you knew more about the hip hop scene. There is a lot in here that were double and triple entendres that you missed. EM is a lyrical genius.
Loved your reaction, and like everyone is saying, please don't hesitate to pause the video to talk about it, we are here to listen to you, not the song itself. Also, this is the first time I am watching any of your videos, and my first reaction was dang, I love your accent, so yeah just had to mention that.
rihanna just " hit me on a text" last night i life "hickies on her neck" 5 sylobol rhyme scheme his delivery is 2nd to none and the technicals are on another planet
When I first listened to it and heard the end I was like "HE DID THE THING" like a little excited kid. "White America" is one of the songs he used it in too, you should give it a listen! :) Also, I love how he integrated parts of MGK's diss into this. Made it even better.
Hi Kathryn, listen and do a reaction of 2Pac Dear Mama official music video. 2Pac’s Mom tells a true story in the beginning of the song dedicated to her Afeni Shakur. Heads up though it’s about his Mom. It’s an emotional song and deep poetry lyrics! 2Pac wasn’t there to make the music video for his Mom. 2Pac was in jail for a rape case that he never raped any woman. She purposely set him up well he was just relaxing and resting on a hotel bed in New York. Then she was and instigator screaming and running out of the hotel room well their was other rappers in the living room. The other rappers were in on it to, to set up 2Pac. True facts story. Eminem is 2Pac’s favorite rapper of all time, that’s why Eminem is so poet he learned it from 2Pac. 2Pac is my favorite rapper of all time as well! They’ll never be another 2Pac or Eminem again. Kathryn, you’ve already seen Cleaning out my closet by Eminem, 2Pac is the same but the opposite. If you ever want to hear and watch 2Pac’s life story told in his own words. Watch the documentary called Tupac Resurrection, just as it’s spelled. 2Pac died at the age of 25 years old, and has so so many songs, 7 movies he made and poems he wrote. With in 7 years he was in the entertainment business, from 18 to 25. He was ahead of his time!❤️🙏🏽
One if the craziest bars in this track is where he enunciated 6 b 3 11 This was a flight that got cancelled about the same time em dropped the track. Basiclaly sayon he just cancelled mgk Also 6b3 is a russian plate carrier or bulletproof vest. So on face value hes dissing him but also has a double and even triple entandre in just that 1 bar 🔥
"had to give you a career to destroy it" i had no idea who mgk was before this. Thankful he got em to make this song but hate he gave him the attention and fame he was seeking. Also eminem is a genius. The swayze line goes over a lot of peoples heads at first. His lyrics have meaning. Proud to be from Detroit. Hes like our ambassador 😂
I love the way you said you wanted to flick MGK like he was a little little little little little little bugger whatever you said. If you haven't already, check out Eminem's song "Gnat." Total mgk diss; I know you'll love it. I'm a new fan, but I love your vibe and the way you let the song roll without pausing at every 30 seconds. Fan for life. Keep up the good work
1st rule to making a disstrack : No chorus, it's only filler taking away time from you bombing them. By the way, a lot of people know MGK didn't write his final verse on Rap Devil. He could rap along with it, but never had the brain to put it on pad. He's borderline "simple"
If you want a good MGK song to listen to, it's gonna be a bit more difficult, but it is possible. Step 1. Get rich enough to be able to afford a whole bunch of stuff plus not working for a few years. Step 2. Go study physics and specialize in parallel universes. Step 3. Find a way to move to other universes. Step 4. Locate one where MGK doesn't suck.
mgk is a decent rapper with a couple good songs. rap devil was probably one of the better em disses, despite being more of a song than a diss. but yeah, he isn't anything special.
Eminem never started a diss in his career, but he always ended them, as far as I know. Lyrically he has become, in years, literally unmatched, that's why no one wants a problem with him. Only people who are seeking quick fame (only to be blasted later) dare to diss him on a track, in other words...fools lol I think he's the goat for many reasons...he changed the game and, by being incredibly skilled and white (by his own admission) he brought rap everywhere in America and all over the world. And he still has to fight against racism for the fact that he's a white guy in the rap community today..
Em is known for his Rap Battle Skills, where he literally annihilate his Opponents. That's why no one wants to mess around with him. Seems like MGK recognized it, but unfortunately too late...
Phenomenal Phenomenal Phenomenal, YES. Love it, Like It. Need more of it. EXACTLY!!!!! LoL. You said it. And same could be said about you and your vids
People also ask Who did #Eminem write #Killshot about? "Killshot" is a diss track by American rapper Eminem and produced by IllaDaProducer. The song is Eminem's response to Machine Gun Kelly's song " #RapDevil " that was released in 2018. Eminem had previously dissed MGK in his song "Not Alike" from his tenth studio album Kamikaze Eminem’s “Killshot” dropped three years ago today. On the day in 2018, Eminem released the most successful diss track “Killshot” in music history. The track was an MGK diss, in response to Kelly’s “Rap Devil” which also gained some huge streaming numbers. At that time, Eminem’s “Killshot” achieved the biggest youtube debut for a Hip-Hop track, by gathering over 38 million in the first 24 hours. Eminem’s “#Killshot ” debuted at number 3 on Billboard Hot 100 and it went platinum in less than 2 months. Eminem Do't like #machineGunkelly he's a Dick #killshotLyrics

when you realise that em dropped this the day after mgk dropped his shows his unreal abilities
He's a genius with his words
This was a masterpiece, anyone who don’t know rap thinks MGK won 😂 Em took everything in rap devil and threw it back at him with clever wordplay and unmatched creativity and beautifully constructed rhyme schemes
🤡🤡🤡🤡.
@@EmperorOfDrill yes, u definitely r a 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Have you heard this lovely song called "Kim" by the rapartist Eminem yet?
He literally chased MGK to a different genre of music.
FAAAAAAACTS💯💯💯💯💯💯😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
double entendres is a big thing in hip hop but whats crazy about em and a few other rappers is that they write bars that are tripple and quadruple entendres.. eminem is crazy
Even the name of the song is a reference to a movie called killshot where the main character is named colson just like mgk and ends up getting shot to death xD
There's no competition Eminem and MGK his to lyrical.
The wordplay
Double
Triple
you name it.
you should react to eminem - headlights. youll be crying for sure 😆
Killshot = masterful diss track.
For maximum immersion, this channel should be called Chills and every single video should be an OVERzoomed skin on your arm all in goosebumps.
And that is why Eminem is a Legend!
Things that people often miss about Killshot:
The song is a reference to the 2008 film Killshot, where the main characters Wayne and Carmen *Colson* are hunted by an assassin.
Eminem is the Goat 🐐
Eminem 😎👍
Eminem killed it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Real talk about stuff
Facts 💯‼️
I like the song 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like the video reaction
Just fyi there was soooo much you missed and it was basically respond to every thing mgk said on his diss and EM dissed this MGK soo hard he made him leave RAP and made his life literally a nightmare , he literally freaks out every time he hears EM's name and he is going through a depression just cuz of one single DISS ,
😂 you be on point this was in high demand an you got down to it 👏
Just found your channel... Watchin a new Em fan being born is the most wholesome thing ever but damn you're picking some pretty tough tracks!
Em literally takes every line mgk said and shreds it. Mgk should have listened to not alike and left this man alone.
thank you for keeping me sane
Another very good song of his is “darkness”. It has a great message full of double entendres. Think it would be a great song to see your reaction.
I remember listening to this for the first time. When that Pac line came around my jaw was on the FLOOR. I still can't believe that he said LOL
Em won this battle after 10 seconds
True
Of all the double-entendre's here, here's a little jab... "I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze"
Patrick Swayze was in a movie called "Ghost"
Meaning Eminem can make one phone call and MGK's career is gone.
Just to add another level to this song that gets overlooked often:
The title, Killshot, is also the name of a 2008 action film directed by John Madden.
Great reaction! Need more
Eminem is the last Rapper he should messed with
Loved your reaction, and like everyone is saying, please don't hesitate to pause the video to talk about it, we are here to listen to you, not the song itself.
Not Alike is a must listen. One of my favorites! Also Caterpillar
Omg I love you im gonna go to Patreon ASAP🔥💕
Na. If there is one artist in the world you absolutely analyze, Eminem is that artist. His entendres are insane, In all of his music
Mama's just a little girl, letter to my unborn and unconditional love -Tupac (RIP)
Making my day watching your reactions 👍❤
You know it’s someone new to rap when the diddy line doesn’t cause an aneurysm hahaha
Watching your body and facial reaction to killshot was great, subscribed.
No way Em found a way to rhyme Hayley in vain to Alien Brain. Genius
He was ahead of his time!❤️🙏🏽
RAP GOD!
That Diddy line had me laughing my head off

One if the craziest bars in this track is where he enunciated 6 b 3 11
This was a flight that got cancelled about the same time em dropped the track. Basiclaly sayon he just cancelled mgk
Also 6b3 is a russian plate carrier or bulletproof vest.
So on face value hes dissing him but also has a double and even triple entandre in just that 1 bar 🔥
Fun fact, Eminem wrote this in 13 minutes.
Mgk made a song.. Eminem made strait Diss. 🤘🏻
IM HEAR FOR YOU, NOT THE SONGS. love watching someone kind of new to the genre experiencing this stuff like I did when they came out.
Your reaction to this dis track is priceless!!!!!
Now Let's React To "Lucky You" - eminem ft joyner lucas
You'll love it👌❤️
I love the way you said you wanted to flick MGK like he was a little little little little little little bugger whatever you said.
If you get a chance, listen to Stan followed by Bad Guy. Some people argue his final verse in Bad Guy is one of the best versus ever.
Don’t get me wrong mgk had about 5-good lines/bars in his dissed…but Eminem went for the Killshot and got it Eminem the G.O.A.T
Dissing Em and saying Hailey’s name is career suicide. But people occasionally try to test him even after all the “bodies” he’s collected
Eminem never started a diss in his career, but he always ended them, as far as I know.
Lyrically he has become, in years, literally unmatched, that's why no one wants a problem with him. Only people who are seeking quick fame (only to be blasted later) dare to diss him on a track, in other words...fools lol
I think he's the goat for many reasons...he changed the game and, by being incredibly skilled and white (by his own admission) he brought rap everywhere in America and all over the world. And he still has to fight against racism for the fact that he's a white guy in the rap community today..
Awesome to see your rap knowledge grow. Listen to some Nototious Big and any 90’s rap . I guarantee you will it. ✌
Love your reactions please do more
Love this channel! New Sub here!
Em is known for his Rap Battle Skills, where he literally annihilate his Opponents. That's why no one wants to mess around with him. Seems like MGK recognized it, but unfortunately too late...
Hey! I think it would be great if you reacted to Crypt's analysis of the song to really appreciate how deep this diss really is
100%
Great reaction loved it
Phenomenal Phenomenal Phenomenal, YES. Love it, Like It. Need more of it. EXACTLY!!!!! LoL. You said it. And same could be said about you and your vids

Light work for Em…he wasn’t really even trying and that’s scary af! Listen to his older beefs!!
Hello =) i discovered your channel today and thx you! Was a wonderful journey going through all EM Songs. I wish you would also react "Not Alike" from Eminem. There is where the beef startet with MKG. Buts its more about all the different rap styles that Eminem is using. Iam sure you would like it and i would like the reaction :P
I want to collaborate with Eminem one day.
Not Alike is a must
I am binging your reactions to Eminem and I really love it. Huge thanks. If you have an hour watch the explanation video of Knox Hill. He breaks it all down and explains it all really well. MGKˋs song is actually not too bad but Eminem is not only in another league it’s a whole different sport
