2021 Budget Proposal

Are you curious how we allocate funds for city services? On November 10, you can watch the process during our study session when the City Manager will present our 2021 proposed budget. Later that same evening, you will have the opportunity to comment during the Public Hearing.
Revenue projections for 2021 are conservative yet optimistic and take into account the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on City revenues, which have mostly rebounded and continue to hold steady.
On the expense side, priorities are investing in our community’s infrastructure and maintaining our current level of service as our community evolves and attracts more residents. To account for this increased demand on services and staff, the cost of a permanent city home will be part of our discussion.
Overall, the proposed budget maintains a positive fund balance with a healthy 25% operating reserve.
