I work at a pc repair shop. Your isn't worth fixing to game on but if you wanna learn this is perfect. I would try to swap the cpu before anything else. Also try adding a cheap gpu that is known working. I've seen the boards half work but the igpu doesn't work. If that fails after you tried both then i would finally replace the board. It also could be the ram so i would consider replacing that first. I can mail you some if you need it.

Thanks, yeah I will definitely try that because I’m at a loss on it 😅 but you’re right that cpu is needing a replacement. I have a an HP bored but not sure what cpu is in that one, gonna take a look I know it’s older from 2003.

@@MartinsElectronics484 there a decent chance that CPU is good and the board is bad. But you troubleshoot in order from easiest to hardest. So change ram 1st > change CPU 2nd > then board last. Everything spins so no need to change fan or CPU cooler. If the ram is the issue it won't post so that could be the issue.

All of these older boards are 15-20 bucks on eBay so I would order replacement. This shouldn't be too difficult to fix. Swap all 3 and chances are the pc will work

@@Tuna-l7p thank you! yeah that sounds about right It almost feels like the bored itself, but I will try the following steps first and see what happens 😁

@@MartinsElectronics484 Record what you come across and if after all those steps I'll look forward to the motherboard replacement video. I have a feeling it's the board as well.
