the switch games run horribly in the deck for the most part. Why would you play them with glitches or frame rate issues on discontinued emulators. Since you're already going the pirate route: You can play breath of the wild among other 30fps titles at 60FPS on the Oled switch thanks to overclocking, try that on the deck, that often can't even run games at 100% framerate, lol.
I’ll take dealing with glitches and some issues anyday then playing it on ancient shitty hardware that’s also closed source meaning your only down to Nintendos game and there ecosystem. Steam deck all day the switch sucks.
@@Mally_02 that's where mod chips come in. The Mariko Switches(V2, Lite, OLED) have OC potential that basically double the performance, enabling higher resolutions or 60 instead of 30fps. A mild OC also fixes basically all the frame rate issues the switch has with some games. Issues you likely also have on the deck. Emulation makes sense on a beefy PC though, so you can go all the way to 4K resolution but even then there will be glitches.
The price comparison is a little unfair. Game titles are considerably cheaper on the Steam Deck vs on Nintendo and you kind of break even after 3-4 titles.
The Switch isn’t really worth comparing to the Steam Deck at this point, the Steam Deck offers much more value to price than the Switch. Ps: what is that game on the SD with animals in it ?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The game you’re asking about on the Steam Deck with animals is called Party Animals. It’s a fun and chaotic game where you can play as different animals and battle it out with friends.
Omg a Steam Deck video from another black RUclipsr. I love finding us in these videos, the familiarity is nice. Anyways, I really want a Steam Deck badly. At this point I’m tempted to sell *some* of my Switch games for one.
Give Me The Switch Oled Something About It I Had The OG Switch Since Day One For 7 Years I Jus Sold It Few Months Ago Because I Wanted To Get The Oled Switch.
@@voidtensa The Steam Deck can play Resident Evil 4 Remake and Turok 2 Remastered, but not in native 4K UHD. The Steam Deck’s display is 1280x800, so it doesn’t output 4K on its own screen. However, you could connect it to a 4K monitor or TV, but it may not hit true 4K resolution smoothly, especially for demanding games like RE4 Remake. Hope this helps!
Very nice comparison, let me add that the option to have physical games is another + for the switch
@@iznax9 The option to use physical games is definitely a big plus for the Switch. Thanks for adding that!
Can't u play physical games on Steam deck oled as well?
@@DayrusBPB No Steam Deck only support digital games
Steam Deck has all the Switch games, plus tens of thousands more. It's also much more powerful. Is this even a competition?
i love my steam deck but I know some people dont want to go thru the hassle to deal with emulation

The Switch does that as well. Provides Touchscreen use.

Switch vs. Steam Deck OLED: The showdown that’ll make your wallet cry!

A Gorilla vs a mice
Also Hogwarts Legeacy. Nintendo bought the company behind it.

Can the valve Steam Deck play games in 4K UHD like Resident Evil 4 Remake or Turok 2 remastered
