- We recently made a massive saltwater pond and after scaping the reef I couldn't help but want to move my community fish all from one pond into this new pond, as the structure was just too perfect for them! So in todays video, we did just that, lowered the water & got to netting and finding all of our fish & invertebrates out of the pond to put into the new one🤯🪸🐠

The pond is a 10/10! But would be so much cooler if you could get some good sized anenomes for the clowns and other pretty live corals. It would brighten up the rocks so much more! And definitely more invertebrates! Love this video, and can't wait to see the predatory tank finished! ❤❤❤

Paul have you ever thought about putting a live Anemone in the new pond for the clownfish? I’m not sure if it would help or not. Just a thought🤣 that way you would know where they are and it acts as protection from other fish.

He had anemones in that pond already, but he managed to kill then within a few weeks of getting them
If he cared about giving his animals a proper home, there would be tons of anemones already in the pond before adding all these fish. But, he doesn’t care about them
@@user-mv9sl3zh6dfirst of all clownfish don’t need anemones to survive and captive bred clowns like he has probably won’t ever host an anemone. Also anemones are more sensitive than fish so adding them first in a newly cycled tank would be foolish

@evandampman8076 I literally saw some in his last video that he showed the pond😆😆😆 they're tiny and there's a ton of scape in there now, so they're harder to see.
Bravo! LIGHTING - you need a nice top down lighting system and light scape properly. It will bring your pond to the next level.

Some butterfly fish would look awesome in there! The schooling bannerfish look great as a schooling fish and prefer company of its own kind. You should also think about investing in some better lighting, better spectrum, to make the colors pop even more! I understand you might be worried about algae, but right now the tank looks kinda dimly lit.
He won’t get schooling fish, they’re much easier to notice them missing when they all die shortly after being added to the tank

Did you add more established media from the old filter to the new filter? If not it might be an issue to just rely on the bacteria in the sand.

I feel like a sea anemone would fit in so well there and be great for the clown fish to live in. Also feel like some spotted garden eels would go nicely in there
That is so beautiful! Your hard work paid off 1000-fold. I love it! You might consider ASMR the fish to help people sleep. Loop 20 minutes filming and relaxing music. You would get 1000's of views and it would play all night...

You need a large group of around 15-20 Sargent majors they will pop in that reef pond !! And you can go catch them be a good vid maybe fish trap and rod and line ??

Wow the tank looks even better than I expected once you added the fish! It would be cool if you added a few red dragonet goby’s or some green mandarin goby’s!

The new tank with the reef looks great but you should have done that from the start. You put these fish through unnecessary stress and just throw them like if they were potatoes. Did you at least acclimate them with some of the new water before throwing them into the new tank?
I know, right? Only worrying about the temperature for saltwater fish?! I hope they make it. Luckily it’s such a big body of water that hopefully the parameters wont be too different or swing too much.
@@lyndsayhammond6884they get the water from the same source, that big truck that carries from the ocean so the pH nitrates and ammonia levels should be similar.

I would like to see a little more color, the Mangrove was a nice touch in the 1st tank. Also maybe something else for the Eels to hide under. Looks like a great start to an awesome tank!!
Paul, you might want to get more snails and hermit crabs for the pond. You have transferred your saltwater fish to just a suggestion.
His enclosures are always filthy. He never takes the time to set them up properly. He even says in this video that he did a copper treatment which killed all of the inverts. Notice how he never mentioned that before?

Surely a gradual transfer would have been more sensible? I dont see how an kind of cycle has taken place, doesnt look to be any algae

It’s sad that he has to mention that just because he didn’t film it doesn’t mean it’s gone. So many RUclipsrs get awesome fish, record small amounts of footage, and then they disappear and you never hear what happened to them..
Paul is one of those youtubers. So many fish have vanished over the years
He mentions that because that’s exactly what has happened here. Maybe only 1/3rd of the fish he has put in here over the past few months actually survived to make this transfer
What’s actually sad here is how many of his animals do disappear with no explanation.

@@Mastershake0592 he is the poster child for simply using animals for views and money. Do some research on his poor care, a simple search and you’ll find hundreds of examples. He never gives his animals proper enclosures, just makes flashy thumbnails of him dumping an animal in a terrible home, to be forgotten about

Agree it drives me nuts when he’s like “we don’t want to stress them out much” but proceeds to hold them out of the water for 30 seconds filming it. I know these fish are all good and well taken care of and have the best enclosures and care. Butttttttt we could do it faster and less stress was

Not very many clown fish left from the number that you purchased. Your fish that you rehomed must have really did a number on them.

Words can't describe how incredible this tank is! The fish also are epic. Paul, I always like to wait to read comments before I leave one and all I can say is haters make good algorithm. I don't usually make suggestions but what about replacing those brown rocks at the bottom of the two windows with the same dark coffee bean rock in the new reef tank? I think it will make it POP! I don't thinks it's ego when it's the truth and we know you and your not like that. Be proud Paul, that tank is mesmerizing. If your missing fish. The eels must have eaten them. Should take them out
Eels definitely got some, but it’s more likely they died due to the improper living conditions Paul gives them

You know what I was constantly afraid of how did you not step on any of the fish that bury themselves under the sand? Anyways, I hope that you find the other fish that you know are missing. Paul if you go back to the video “Buying 18 Mystery fish for my aquarium” there’s a saltwater fish there you thought was so cool but didn’t know what it was. It was actually a pretty cool fish so I’m thinking you should go back find out what fish it was and then buy it for the pond
