The new pond is way smaller than the old one. The old pond definitely holds a whole lot more water. I just think it’s gonna be too crowded now for those fish.
The old circular pond was already overstocked (especially before half of the fish died due to his ich outbreak). This new pond is half the size, and is already beyond overstocked.

He’s already stated it’s much bigger then the old pond they were in, you just can’t tell through the camera, it probably seems smaller coz it’s black and not a bright colour (aka blue or white) c
@@tia3712 it’s been proven it is significantly smaller through the materials he used. He’s just too arrogant to admit that he moved his (already overcrowded) fish to a smaller pond
How come that you never have proper filtration for these completely overstocked ponds? Maybe collaborate with some koi guys who know their filtration or have been in japan before, its really not that hard to provide proper filtration with all that land. You need a mechanical filter upfront, a biological one behind and lastly uv, or you completely build a brush filter on your own, I think a lot of peoople would enjoy watching you build big filters which create amazing water quality!
He never has his tanks set up properly because fish care isn’t his objective. The animals are used solely as props for views and money.
Simple, he can't be bothered to actually make an effort.

The new pond is 10x10 and 4 feet deep. Just around 3000 gallons.

The pond crashed twice and a lot of fish died. He just keeps restocking it, on and of camera
Most of the fish die, he just dumps new ones inside. He’ll do the same thing here when most of these fish go belly up due to the completely improper water parameters of this pond

@@laurenrwinstonepretty obvious with basic fish care knowledge. The ammonia levels are off the charts with the lack of sufficient filtration and absolute overstocking of fish in these. Not to mention the parasites that have repeatedly crashed the tank that he has introduced through his refusal to quarantine.

It used to be so overstocked with fish that they were swimming on top of each other…now they’re mostly gone
Lol he made a whole video about how he had too many in there.. and a bunch of them were from the outdoor koi pond he has, and he's moved them back in there. And he's given or traded a bunch of them. And like, 1 or 2 died when he had that disease in the water. Yall a bunch of upstarts who think you know everything 😆😆😆😆

How did you cycle the new pond? Didnt see you add any bacteria or swap any biological media?

About 75% of the fish he put in that freshwater pond died

No, watch his older videos. He moved the koi fish out and many of the other fish such as the Oscar’s to free up more room

@@michaelrasmussen9630in south Florida tropical fish can survive outside because the temperatures are like where the fish are native to, that’s the reason we have Oscar’s, plecos, and almost all cichlid types invading south Florida waterways

Most of the fish inside are dead and the tank is disgusting. There’s a reason he hasn’t shown it in months.

Great to hear that you're pleased with how happy the fish are with some scaping and structure in the new pond......... almost like all the "haters" in the comments might have had a point throughout the fish's time in the 5500g.

Still a massive pond tbf. Filtration sucks and it'll turn green in no time but the pacu will be in a bigger body of than most kept as pets

It’s bigger, just looks smaller coz it’s dark/black, like how a room seems smaller when it’s black n bigger when white :)

Yeah, his fish die alllllll the time and he just hides it. Same thing will happen here. When he does get caught with dead fish, he always has an excuse as to why it wasn’t his fault.

You should get a couple big pieces of driftwood or a large stump or something to put in there. Will take a ton of rock to do what a couple pieces of wood will do.

Update on koi pond
There is absolutely no way that pond will stay clear. Needs loads more filtration. Seriously go to a koi shop and get a proper setup. It will be silted up in no time

@@daisycutter3529 it is a small body of water and therefore the water temp can change (relatively) quickly. He absolutely needs a heater on it.

Nope, not at all. He is well aware of this too, he just doesn’t care enough to put in even the most minimal effort to keep his fish alive.

Of course he didn't, brand new filter,brand new media,brand new pump, and uv, wasted all the old pond water instead transferring it to the new pond, would have been so easy! Then, fresh tap water, whether he added all the right quick start and water conditioners is open for debate! Even though he is sponsored by api! Lol
I may just be stupid, but all his animals look happy and healthy, the vet comes and they have great spaces to live, I don’t see the problem. Why do people have to tear people apart, wow SMH!!!!

@@Sancto-NL I didn't think about the Rip Saw,I don't know much about them other than what he says,but it would seem plausible that they could also do that too..I wonder how sturdy those liners are? I'm going to line my pond with bennite (sp?) clay to avoid using a liner ..but we are doing an actual pond.. I don't know much about the liners.thank you for responding 🫶
@sheHerTheyThem a pleco would have more chance of digging through a clay liner than a decent rubber one but a ripsaw I have no idea not a fish I've ever delt with 😄
@@dominicw.g3722 oh I'm not having pleco in my pond at all, I don't see the need for them, plus the burrowing issue they ruin outdoor environments .. I will leave them in the wild,plus they wouldn't be very happy where I will be living..I don't plan on using anything but native species in my outdoor pond.

You should totally add some native american fish to the new pond. Maybe some blue catfish, more bass, and monster freshwater eels!!! And maybe some fish from Australia, if that is allowed in Florida!!!
All the predator fish would be a massive bio load already I wouldn't add anymore then that. As a quick guide 1 inch of fish per gallon of water and less of the fish are big eaters

I have kept fish longer than Paul has been alive with a literal fraction of the avoidable fish deaths that he has had in just the past few months alone. The animals are props for him to make money, nothing more.
@@JohnSmith-cq5qu as I said in my original comment above, please film and show us who want to learn exactly what to do….. share your experience with us….. the fact Paul has had some of these fish for as long as 6 years which can be verified through watching all his videos is proof enough that this is not just a money making scam and actually someone who has found a way to express what they love with the world……

Hey Paul, amazing video but there is some irritation on thump behind one of the fins you should probably take a look at, thanks for making the amazing videos I love watching.
He simply does not care about giving his animals proper treatment. When Thump dies in a few weeks, he will give some excuse as to why it isn’t his fault, per usual.

Paul i think you should make a big natural aquascape in the 3000 g. It would be really cool. I think you should keep. Tetras,guppies,discus,angel and stuff in the 3000 g after aqua scaping
He has never made a natural scape before, no chance he starts now. Those take effort and care, which he doesn’t have.
No hate but at this point he has a new pond every week, gets bored of one and moves all the fish to another, its not responsible.
He might have a lot of ponds but he takes care of all his animals and better than you probably ever would. I mean why judge someone by how many ponds they have.

Long term Paul fan here ; kinda makes me sad seeing all of these negative comments lately on the last few videos. He’s doing his best. Dudes been so consistent for years please give the man a break.

Usually love the videos but recently all this fish moving into ponds that haven't cycled is really irresponsible first the salt water now the big fish 😳 please be more responsible as people will think its normal to do 😢
The water for the saltwater pond was straight from the ocean so it’s already cycled and good water
@Reptilefeeders that makes no sense atall, a filter still needs time to cycle regardless of where the water comes from there might be some beneficial bacteria in the water that would speed it up but most kf the good bacteria would be in the rocks and sand in the ocean not in the water itself
he usually adds filter media from his already established ponds in his new ponds, he just doesn’t show it anymore.
