- After months of work, setting up this amazing aquarium for my monster fish! It's FINALLY time!! Moving ALL of my fish from the front pond was a big task.. from massive platinum redtail catfish to smaller oscars, we have it all! They look SO GOOD in the new 5,500 gallon🤯🐟🔥

Hey Paul, Love your videos and keep up the good work. I am not a professional but I think if you are moving the Arowanas to the big pond, using a light wired mesh around the corner of the pond would be ok and wont affect the looks of the pond. just a suggestion btw. merry Christmas!!!
You should put an underwater webcam in there! 24/7 we can always see the fish! Especially cool if you can aim it at some hiding spots of the fish. Awesome content as always!

Hey Paul, the pond & fish look spectacular. I noticed someone came up with the name "Reaper." That's actually a good one, or you could go one better and name it, "Thanatos," which is another name for The Reaper, and just sounds more exotic. Again, You have such great friends so willing to come and help, especially Brenten. He literally flies there, at what seems like a moment's notice. It's just beautiful in every way and can't wait until all the finishing touches are done. I know 2023 is only going to get so much better for You. I’ve literally watch This Kid grow up and blow up in front of my eyes like he is one of my kids!!! FINALLY! They look super happy and thriving, but you should definitely add huge rocks or something with a tunnel system or something or that nature so the fish can chill and hang out in since you have the space for it fill it up with more trees

Awesome video. I would use pvc build up 2 or 3 feet and across, add support pols down into pool and build structure off it for fish. Then net the hole thing

Epic Paul. The pond looks awsome with the fish in it, remember that is a huge Bio Load at one time, so if I were you I'd take out the live media from the front filter ,put it in mesh bags and add inside the new pond so your new filter can grow it's own Beneficial Bacterial. If not you will have a huge Amonia Spike and I would hate for you to lose your prized fish. Sorry I'm being a party pooper,but itd reality. Also add your Bacteria bottles,besides since your going to work on the front pond that filter will die off anyway.
What would be ideal is if you could temporarily set it up simultaneous with the new one your pond would cycle faster.

He’s entertaining and means well for sure, but he is absolutely not a great role model when it comes to showing how to take care of animals.
solution to the fish jumping - make a clear plastic rim around the perimeter of the tank, high enough to prevent the fish from jumping out, but you'll still be able to see through it, as well as from above on the deck. takes away the downsides of having a net over the tank which limits top visibility and could possibly scratch up the fish

I think the name "Gyarados" would fit the gar very well. First because "Gyara" kind of sounds like gar and I believe you have raised this beautiful animal since it was young. Since the prerevolution of gyarados is magikarp which is small. This name would fit it very well because of the size difference between a small gar and a large gar

He has gone from doing videos in his parents backyard to this current video on not his first, but rather his second farm in Florida! His love for animals, and fish alike are wonderful to see. Sooooo cooool! Re: the net, I’d lower the water so that it’s just above the top of the viewing window. Not only would it cover the jumping issue with the fish, but the water will be able to get oxygenated more with the splashing of the filter with the added distance of water level!!!

You should have a 24/7 live fish cam for the big tank
for the arowanas, you can get some sort of mesh wire with a large mesh size, it won't make it too ugly. i did that for my Arowana pond
you can also use a bird net(used for fruit trees) and attach it very tightly to the top of the pond, it won't look bad since it is white.
a sort of curtain or barrier made of transparent plastic could also work
Arowanas will not jump if the water quality it good
@@harisisyrend5453 trust me they do if they get spooked or if their is an insect or lizard on the rim of the tank. For example, if I turn on the light suddenly, it will jump. I do agree that good water quality and enough space might reduce jumping, but it will never stop them from doing it. Their body is built to jump high and catch insects.
You could make a mesh tent to go over for your arows as and add hooks to the sides to hold and take offf

I still say get aquascape to build the other pond on the other part of the fish room. You know that Ed the pond professor would come up with something amazing for that.
