Is he though? He made some very questionable shots throughout the match. He could've won so many more points easier if he chose the right shots to make.
Kwon-korean won-is dark horse for ao open.powerful stroke aggressive net play smart drop shot fun to watch his game.even he lost 2 sets never give up.mentally tough young gun.hope he move to quarterfinal.
Incredible match. Although Rune really needs to up his fitness, he had this match on his racket. Despite that it was a very close contest. No wonder Kwon troubled shapovalov, he looks ready. His fitness is really good, all he's missing is a bit more consistency at these lesser events. Rune is a really flashy player, but there is room to improve his technique definitely. The talent is there to reach a certain level, but if his fitness doesn't improve dramatically he will end up as a wasted talent. Yes, he's young but these are becoming obvious and real issues for him. Not being able to last 5 sets is really damaging.
What is Holger Rune doing playing this kind of tennis? If this was his teams strategy, then he needs to replace mom w some tour level coaching. He is a big boy w w a huge game and he needs to play big man tennis, not this cat and mouse shit. That's horrible play from him. Stop looking for highlight reel and start getting meat and potatoes w 1 2 tennis. All of these big guys thinking they're Novak or Fed is ridiculous. He should be bullying a player like Kwon whose only real weapon is his FH. You're not going to be handed wins at this level young man. Terrible strategy. All credit to Kwon.
@@Nico-zw9ud he's one of those talents that thought he was just going to seamlessly transport his game to the big stage w the big boys and just keep rolling. The reality is it just doesnt work like that. Hes a little soft but has all the weapons and skills to be top 30. When younger players w lots of game are trying to piece it all together its up to their team to simplify the scope for them in the midst of all the transition.
Always tough for these young up and comers to transition to best of 5. Kwon was in that position not too long ago, but now he's the experienced one.
Go Kwon. Wish you the best year!
well done kwon!! amazing how he was the younger less experienced one a few years ago and now hes the vet. time flies.
Rune must be allergic to pickle juice, 2nd slam in a row he cramps in the 3rd or 4th set
Vamos Kwoon. Ánimo desde España.
Ugh was pulling for Rune so much… he needs to improve his fitness
rune looked like he was out of gas towards the end
He got a cramp at the end
@@andymaiphoto always the same
Hes having a lot of problems with His Fitness, needs to change something in that regard
Congratulations Soonwoo !!
Great battle. Kwon is an intelligent player.

Kwon hits powerful groundstrokes from both wings

권순우 선수 첫승이 축하합니다!! 이제 샤파발로브 선수를 함 잡아봅시다. 퍼스트 서브만 좀 다듬으면 좋을거 같아요...

The umpire said "Spiel Satz und Sieg" at the end lol he must have been tired
Keep it up. KWON.
Lol Kwon pulling out the fake drop shot on match point.
I don't want to use the term terribly overrated, but Holger is terribly overrated, with a hideous looking forehand. Top 50 player at best I think.
LMAO bye bye holger

Do you think Holger has the potential to be a top 10 player in the future or is top 30ish his level?
@@Nico-zw9ud he needs to grow up first. Just to get into top 50. Cramp cramp cramp cramp and cramps.

Rune can never move in high matches. Once again he says to danish news." I couldn't move at all. ' - Maybe grow up or resign from tennis.
Lol, what a childish comment
