- On this episode of Badlands Rack Attack, Blake goes in-depth on all of the new 2023 Badlands binocular harnesses and accessories. With four new bino harness styles and multiple accessories such as rangefinder cases, bear spray pockets and more, the new lineup has you covered for any and every hunt.
I literally watched 8 episodes of rack attack yesterday. Its a great show. I discovered Badlands gear this year and I wish I had sooner. Great quality gear! Definitely keep the hair!

A friend reached out after the Air Force moved me out here. He let me know about you guys and let me just point out... Every single time I go down to Sandy, you are my number one destination. I am always in there for at least an hour and a half to dream on what I am buying with my next check. The ingenuity you guys have for your products and the care you have for your customers does not go unnoticed. Also by far my favorite answer machine of all time! What would you say is the best harness for the west/rockies spot and stalk hunts?

Well these days I always need guidance! And I’m damn near starved for love so… looks like I’ll be looking into getting another bino harness.. The addition of accessories is the cats meow sir! Again thanks as always for making it impossible for us to think “ok now I have everything I could ever need.” It’s like your selling iPhones every year it gets better and better and you just have to have it.

Been a Badlands junkie for year's. From hunting, fishing, Target 🎯 archery. A new bino case for ASA / IBO would help make me look great Shooting even though I shoot like shit. Love all you guys do for our hobby, sport.

Hey badlands crew, really love the innovation in all these new products. Looking forward to trying them out.
The holster clips behind the rig is cool, but they do make me a little nervous sometimes. People need to be very careful holstering those. There's a lot to get snagged on going in or out and they are almost always aimed in an unsafe direction, whether it be close to your own chest, or aiming at your buddy. In the event of a bear attack or something it's certainly a great place to have it, but just be keenly aware that your gun is starting off in a less safe place than it would on your hip.

Thanks for highlighting your new products! I've used Badlands gear for several years now, never any complaints about quality, always well built and bang for your buck! My first bino mag case almost cost me an elk though due to a noisy unintended slam shut feature. I sold it of course, and have tried numerous others since, including the expensive and over rated FHF which I had immediate quality control issues and unrefined construction. So here I am, back at Badlands and seeing your newly improved versions which I will be happy to try out on a new set of larger 12x50's. Now I have to figure out which one.........

Man I can’t say enough good things about the company. I’m so glad you guys upscaled the bingo harness you had and came out with this new line but what was super cool is the involvement of other companies that make gun holsters. And that they work seem less with the bino harnesses. Thanks badlands for giving ordinary hunters the ability to have top tier equipment that is still affordable and the best warranty out there.

I just starting getting badlands this past summer. Soo far i love it. Curtis has been great at answerings all my questions. And ive had alot. Im waiting patiently for the venture bibs!

Love this new accessories and harnesses. I made up my own a number of years ago with the earlier bino harness. Now going to need to upgrade to a 2023 bino harness system. Missed rack attack!
It’s has been the best ever bino harness I every used. Just 2 things maybe looked at a way to have a tourniquet holder and a mag holder that works with mdt mags

I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these! I actually have a couple bino cases from you guys right now. The XR is my go to, I love that thing. Believe it or not I have a Bino X that I use for work 5 days a week, it’s perfect for an electrician. Keep up the great work!

Strong! Really STRONG! Great options with so much flexibility it'd be hard to choose. Having a non-magnetic closure on one even makes me consider using my old pair of Steiner Commander model (compass) binos. On a side note...let the hair grow and maybe go for a ZZ Top beard... ; )

Love these videos! They are extremely helpful when trying to weigh the pros and cons of different items. I also like the different options for carrying and will definitely be checking out the Venandi holsters.

Rack attack is back!! New cases look great (no surprise there). The EZ case seems really intriguing to me. I know magnet cases are great but I can see how they can make some noise when you open/close them quick and this seems to avoid that. Also, happy wife, happy life Blake...the flow looks great but with the summer coming up as well, might be time to cut the Samson flow.
Good call on happy wife, happy life. Smart advice. Yes, the EZ is perfect if you're concerned about noise. Silent and reliable open/closure system. It's become a favorite of several Badlands staff.

I have to get me one of them. I'm currently using a Leopold harness (I know, shame on me) and it is extremely loud, especially when it gets cold. It is very comfortable to wear though.
We can give you the Badlands guarantee that these will be as comfortable as your Leupold harness.
Glad to see Rack Attack back. My question is, do the new molle accessories fit the older cases? I have the D-Mag for instance and it has webbing on both sides but I'm wondering if an everything pouch, bear spray pouch etc. would fit on that case?
The accessories will fit any Molle type webbing or attachment points so yes it's possible they could attach to some of the attachment points on older packs or bino cases. Just note that not being tailor made to older cases, the fit might or might not work perfectly.
I was starting to wonder if RA was no longer! Chop the flow & keep the boss happy 😂. Been looking to buy one of these cases and switch it up from the XR since I seen your videos at the ATA show just can’t make a decision on which one !

I live in Alaska and am relatively new to hunting but have been bitten by the bug. I have recently lost a considerable amount of weight post gastric sleeve. So I need to start all over with my gear. I’d love to know the difference with all the rain gear and the application for each.

Glad to see the newly designed opening. Do the magnets “click” closed when shutting or they pretty quiet?
We've built enough fabric around any magnetic touch points to deaden as much sound as possible. As long as you're not slamming it shut, it's pretty darn quiet!
Love the new designs! I tried the XR a couple of years ago but it didn’t fit my large binos so I’m stoked to get X2 and try it. Question, any issues with the magnet freezing closed in wet/freezing weather? Just curious because we don’t get temps in the teens very often here in the Southeast but…. Everything freezes shut with how humid it is in the winter.

Awesome new products, unfortunately I've got one of the old bino chestpacks and I love it, I can't remember when I got it but I want to say maybe 10 years ago now. You made it way too tough and I don't need another one, I recently got the scout pack and its the bomb. I may have to try some of those accessory pockets though

On the Venandi. Is it somewhat comfortable on the chest?
Had my mind set on an Alaskan bino harness before I watched this video. I have ran the Allen terrain the past two seasons and it was actually a great harness but after two deer and turkey seasons it is now barely hanging on by literally one thread at the elastic straps so I cannot trust it for another excursion. I am on the fence with the wing styles simply bc I have never ran one nut I love the aspect. So if anybody has any experience with the Tidewe turkey vests and the wing style harnesses what are the pros and cons with them? Do they get in the way?

Hi, long time fan, first time commenting. I'm looking for a new bino harness. I mainly use them for coyote hunting with my decoy dogs. I need to carry a pair of Zulu6 binos from Sig, a rangefinder, my dogs' GPS (Garmin Alpha 100) for their collars, and the remote to my e-caller (Foxpro tx1000). Any suggestions on what I should be looking at to carry all that? I like the expandable pack but am not sure as to what accessories would fit my needs. Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Not sure on the exact size of that bino model (checkout our bino sizing chart) but for all those accessories, I'd suggest the RF Mag Case for your rangefinder, the Everything Pouch for your GPS and maybe a Zip Pocket or Bottom Pocket for everything else.

Been thinking about ditching my elastic bino straps for a chest rig for some time just haven’t pulled the trigger, no pun intended. Which accessory would you recommend for carrying muzzleloader speed loaders, primers, etc?
You'd want to check the dimensions but probably the Zip Pocket (coming soon) or the Bottom Pocket

On the website the Bino EZ mentions a "rear magnetic suspension pocket." What does that mean? Is it a magnetic closure? Also I think you should keep the hair.
It's a pocket on the rear of the case (where it sits against your chest). It has a magnet at the top middle of it to keep it closed and then is just an open top pocket from there that you'd slide something into from the top.
With the Lifetime Unconditional Warranty, that these goodies come with what happens to your old model if you ever needed a replacement that is no longer Available?
If a model of something needs a replacement (pack, apparel, bino harness, etc.) that is no longer in the lineup, we replace it with the closest possible match of what we currently have.
Will the new bino harnesses work with the bino connect system with the badlands packs?

Do you guys have a way to mount a flashlight with easy access?
There are several molle compatible flashlight holsters on the market that would work great on any of these cases. I've been keeping mine in the Bottom Pocket for the most part but that's usually a headlamp.

What is staffs setup of choice
Good question! I've (Blake) been running the X2 case with a Mag RF case on my right side and an Everything Pouch on the right side for my phone. I'll toss the Bottom Pocket on when needed for extra storage. Our boy Nate here is digging the EZ at the moment and is loving the non-magnetic closure. I'll be running the AXS for my whitetail seasons this year.
How does it feel to have a pistol mount on the bottom and be seated comfort wise any thoughts ??
When mounting below the case using the Razco system, it can jab into your gut just a tag but actually not too bad. It just forces you to have good posture, haha!

Anyway, liking the accessorizing on the new designs. My bino cases are all in earlier Real Tree Badlands, and I gotta say, the updates you made are nice, especially the holsters. Yes... I want to see Rack Attack more often than once every 6 months!!!
