Great questions asked by Audio Excellence - amazingly open and candid responses by Paolo Tezzon, he shared some of the most insightful and meaningful information about speaker design that I've ever been exposed to - I also liked his open responses about other speaker designs outside the Sonus Faber family that he admires - - this is great work, thanks Paolo & Audio Excellence!

I’m always impressed when I hear someone speak English as their second language. It’s so very difficult, well done Paolo! He comes across as an incredibly bright and classy individual. Today, I just purchased my first pair of SF speakers. After demoing the Sonetto lll’s for three days in my home with a tube amp and a tube pre, I pulled the trigger. It’s the compact floor stander (for small to medium sized rooms) and it’s incredibly musical, balanced from top to bottom and I love the tweet. I was amazed at how well it does digital! Moving from a metal, extended Focal tweeter to a sweet sounding silk-dome (non-fatiguing) tweeter. Beautiful midrange and low end is quick, punchy and tonally correct. Might not hit the lowest octaves but very satisfying w/o a sub. I love it! Even got a thumbs-up from the wife, digging the piano black Sonetto’s!

The vídeo was long but I have swallowed it from beginning to end because the information given by this talented man was extraordinarily interesting and very honest, bravo. I've heard, or better said listened and enjoyed the Aidas series 1 with momentum amplification and wow, the sound was totally natural, it seemed that that sound had no high treble or boom bass until the recording compelled the electronics and the speakers to cover from the most cristalline highs to the more thunderous frequencies available. Memorable, that was maybe 3 or 4 years ago but the impression keeps in my mind.

I have Cremonas, which I love. Great interview and so nice to hear the straight line in development from the first speakers, the homage he pays to Franco Serblin, the genius who started it all. Thank you, most enjoyable and informative.

First, THANK YOU! What a delight to hear from Paolo, someone from 'my' generation paying homage to the beginnings of modern hi-fi and, at the same time, designing remarkable loudspeakers based on cutting-edge tech. Having been fortunate to learn from the late Bobby Palkovich (Merlin Music Systems) in my teenage years, I now realize how I miss learning about the application of a balance between science and instinct - how, done right, can be magical. Really, thank you for making this available to us all. I enjoy all of your 'shows', but this hit home in a very meaningful way.

Facinating is that Sonus faber & Fabio, gave a future of company and all products in hands of someone who is not engineer and had only two years to learn all things Fabio done and learned in almost lifetime.
    🤔🤔 I don't say is not true, but...hmm

Can you transfer that guy the link to the youtube channel guy that fix his faulty / cornered / sloppy high price products ?
It's looks simple to do if you have some basic electronics skills - nothing a world class speaker maker like him can't do easily on himself !
