Way I see it it is a much broader AI system using a lot of stacked older neural network learning models. My best is o2 or o3 is going to be the full integration across the OpenAi network
Just held it up to the microphone - actually wasn’t thrilled with the quality of that audio but it’s really hard to get audio out directly of the Advanced Voice app - screen recording doesn’t work etc
Do you find the speed in response time similar to what we saw in the open AI preview a few months back? From watching different user videos, it seems this version of voice is slower with response time compared to what we saw in the demos ? I haven’t been able to test it myself .
lol. It’s a bummer playing with these when not knowing anything about how it works. It cannot think of an answer and then work backward because it has to say anything it thinks. So it can’t make puzzles (unless you are using o1. Also if you keep asking it to do something new but don’t start a new session it will look to the rest of that chat session for context.

what's interesting is that i'd love to know how it's stacked on the other stuff (GPT-4o or whatever) and see the in-between pieces

It should recognize when you laugh, continuing speaking and ocationally laughing or otherwise reacting about you laughing. And similar things.

Overall yes - it’s very fast but there are some hiccups and repeats but not too often!

I cannot wait for the o1 version of this. It also clearly hallucinates sometimes, which is weirdly more annoying in voice
