Am I missing something: All it gives is a plethora of error messages and unknown error 9039 when trying to transfer all my ripped CDs from my iphone to my MBP using both iTunes (on my 2008 MBP) and using the downloaded software. It DID ask me to sign in to the store a few times. Then I found I was signed out! WHY should I need to sign in to transfer my ripped CDs?
How do I keep all the Music on my iphone that is not on my macbook music library ? It says under SYNC Library on the iphone that you will DELETE & REPLACE all your Music on that device to sync with Computer.. ?? I just dont wanna lose what Albums & Songs that are on my phone that are not on my computer with (Apple Music) ??
You can try using iPhone Data Transfer to transfer your songs on the iPhone to your Macbook. And here's the link: www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html
I have about 300 CDs that I saved down to 300 albums years ago and saved them to my iPhone. I want them on my Mac now. How can I transfer those downloaded albums from my iPhone to my Mac? They are not in the cloud or purchased via Apple.
I'm never buying anything Apple related again. Getting music from iphone to macos hard drive and vice versa has been a complete nightmare. All of this is simple on any other OS I've used; linux, feebsd, windows and android. But on iphone to macos is counter intuitive and a hassle
Thursday August 8th 2024, 1709hrs I know. I have IPod Touch player, but I REFUSE to buy an IPhone for this reason alone. And the funny thing is, these video and content creators KNOW that it's a nightmare getting music off your IPod/IPad/IPHONE as opposed to Android where you can click on it, drag and drop the files
Hi there, will the second option with the third party application work for music that are not purchased but downloaded and saved on iPhone iTunes? Thank you.
First method didn't work for me and unfortunately the iPhone Data Transfer allows to transfer only ten songs for free. Anyway, thank you for your help.
still confused about "purchased" songs, are those songs that were purchased from the itunes store only? Will it not load other songs on my iphone that were purchased elsewhere?
Not sure if you can help: I have not synced my Macbook & iphone Music Library since I updated to 12.6 Mont. and it's Apple Music now . I have some Songs and Albums from CD's and also that I purchased thru Apple Music and that are on my Computer but not my phone and am wondering if I will lose them ? I also have a few Songs & Albums that are on my Iphone that are not on my Computer so will I lose them also ? I can not find any clear answers if syncing between phone and computer deletes all phone or all computer Music Library or if they will combine whats on both and transfer to each other according to whats missing on each device. ??
Through iPhone Data Tansfer, you can transfer your music easily from your iPhone to computer, or in the opposite direction. Here's the link: www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html
I had download music on mac and then synced with my iphone... But unfortunately I permanently deleted all music from my storage. Now I can see songs on apple music but as it is unable to locate it won't play. On the other hand I have all the songs on my iphone that too is just streaming and not on local storage. How can I transfer those music to my mac?
You can try Apple Music for synchronization; or use Finder or iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to transfer after completely downloading the music to iPhone.
I cannot seem to raise the synch function on the mac. If I plug the phone in, I only get the option to transfer FROM Mac to Iphone. Any suggestions? And I am an Apple Music member and use the same sign in for the iphone 13 and MacOS Monterey.
Hi, for the Method 2: How to transfer music from iPhone to Mac via iPhone Data Transfer; I didn't find data transfer so what's the name exactly , and I have to download it on my mac? thanks
how to transfer playlists? I have my songs prepped in playlists but can't transfer that. Method 2 sends the music perfectly in a folder but not in the order of the playlist. Any options for this? I have up-to-date OS.
Your songs will be in order of the adding time. To change the order, you need to go to Apple Music and locate the playlist, and select the 3-dot icon at the upper right, and then "Sort By" to choose an order.
Excuse me I have questions,if you want to transfer songs from iTunes PC Windows to iphone it's fine and you can still download songs from PC Windows..but what about MacBook to iPhone,.MacBook can download songs as usual like PC Windows.. can you explain..
method 2 saved my life. basically gave up hope that i could transfer all the music on my ipad to itunes on my Imac. had to pay a little for the subscription but it was worth it.
There is a much more simpler way to transfer Music from your iPhone to any Computer including Mac of course without having to set up or change anything on your phone.
Option 2 worked for me. Thank you for sharing
Glad this was helpful for you.
What’s the app name?
Only let me do ten songs ? Did it allow u to do more without paying ?

If those songs are not purchased from iTunes and have no DRM restrictions, you are able to transfer them.
First method worked for me. If it is already turned on, turn it off and turn it back on again.
Glad this was helpful for you.

If the songs you purchased on your iPhone are copyrighted, they won't be loaded.
First method is perfect. Thank you so much!
Glad this video helps

If you're a Music member, the songs on your iPhone should be displayed on Mac. No need to sync.

There is no sync library tab where you are showing one
It only looks like what is shown in the video if you subscribe to Apple Music

In a MacBook, you can use Finder instead of iTunes to download songs.
The menu on my MacBook Air does not have the same options on the menu.
Which method do you talk about?
It has “settings” instead of “preferences” ?
