Meanwhile with a mecha, it only looks good. But think about how you're actually going to keep that thing. You're not going to find parking for a giant robot in any modern city, traveling would also be near impossible with air traffic control from most powerful countries, you'll get shot down if you tried to fly that thing. Good luck trying to drive any giant robot in tiny streets, you'd have to walk everywhere without completely flattening or destroying anything along the way or else you could get arested, sued, along with other heavy charges. If you can even keep it long enough to actually use it, imagine how much it would cost to simply keep that thing. You think cars are expensive?
