@@virgoundead Either you get someone to help you or a lot of stuff now have the setting to change to an alternative interface that blind people can use. I think it usually consists of the device reading out what the mouse is hovering over and then you just use normally. In the case of phones I think it usually reads out what you are pressing, so you navigate by holding your finger down and moving, and then double tap to activate. Sometimes these interfaces can be used to let blind ppl take selfies/pictures of people on their own, the device can say how many faces are on screen so the blind person can figure out if they are in frame. Your phone (assuming it's a smartphone) will probably have the option to change to such an interface. I feel like this is genuinely peak Smosh era. The main channel is doing great, Ian and Anthony sketches are back, and Smosh Pit and Games is absolutely hilarious and thriving. I feel like to top it all off bringing back Smosh Summer Games and Food Battle would be the cherry on top. Smosh content right now is the best it's ever been.
It was incredibly funny and entertaining on the Pit and Games already, Anthony coming back and them doing what they do best with Ian brought the centre piece of the main channel
I looked at the Death Note sitting there and laughed then at the end they started talking about the next sketches they would do, and that was one of them. I was like oh, okay!
Imagine if they did that for another April 1st and watch the whole thing uncut and don't react at all until the end where they just say "that was cool" or something like that.
i havent seen most because i wasnt even sane around that time lololololol so this is really fun to watch honestly. I'm so jealous of people who got to experience it :)
I haven't listened to this song ever since it came out and I can still remember the entire song by heart. I now realize how much smosh had an impact in my life
i remember the day y'all released this SO clearly. no joke, it's the most vivid memory i have of 2012. sitting in my old bedroom in front of my crappy netbook (remember when those were a thing?) SHAKING in excitement with fellow smosh fans, refreshing your website nonstop... memorizing the song immediately, making gifs of the music video and sending my friends screenshots, begging my parents to let me buy the song on itunes (they never let me)... this video's always been super nostalgic but watching it again with you guys just now literally teleported me back to age 12. it seriously feels like yesterday! thank you guys for this podcast and i can't wait to see more! 💛
I'm so glad they don't find this cringy, it was so iconic in its time and it still stands up. I and probably tons of others wouldn't have known about Assassin's Creed without the song.
8:01 The Pumpkin Knock - Just like watermelons, ripe pumpkins will produce a deep, hollow sound when you tap them. The louder the sound, the riper the pumpkin. - So its definitely a behavior that you should see in a market during that time period especially.
I’m so happy they know how good this music video is bruh, cause this and the legend of Zelda rap are things I think about everyday ! Straight MASTERPIECES!
This is such a great idea for a Smosh show and I like hearing Ian and Anthony reminisce and tell us more info and context on what was happening at the time. I remember when the Assassin’s Creed 3 Song came out and it’s a certified RUclips classic!✨
I think crazy part about this for me is hearing all the places around Sacramento they did stuff at. Its also weird to think they went to bella vista with my older brother
The crazy thing is, when I was a kid and had no concept of copyright, I used the rap for a film about an assassin befrending a cop. It was 2014. It's crazy how much impact Smosh had in my life. Kudos to the new wave Smosh content fr.
I literally had to pause cause it lowkey looked like my boyfriend I was like wait a damn minute. Always been and Ian girl 😂 guess I always will be lmfao
Smosh is literally the reason I started playing the assassin creed franchise. Thank you for introducing me to the game. I also wasted so much time playing all the games to completion
wait-why are we the only 6 comments on a video with 600k views? On the other hand, I love the deep dive into nostalgia! I look forward to more of this series.
Let me just say that over the years I stopped watching smosh but I always came back every so often to watch the music videos and this song was and still is my absolute favorite. Ian's verse was so good, I would love to hear him rap like that again. It gets me so hype every time!!
Can't wait for the oncoming weekly videos. "Old Smosh" was a big part of my teenage years and its great to see a retrospective take on them about a decade later. An idea for some episodes that just think would be cool is the "Teens in the wild", "Girlfriends in the wild" or the "how to-" videos "How to get rid of a body" and uh "how to get rid of a boner". Great stuff lads.
It's honestly just cool how Smosh's comeback is targetting the same audience that grew up with the channel before. This bigger shift to podcast platforms, as well as the return of Smosh sketches is just brilliant and I never knew I wanted it from Smosh out of all people. Please move Sword AF to podcast platforms though (you don't need it to be video recorded just sayin).
It's amazing how far RUclips content has come. 10 years ago, a $20k budget video was only possible with a brand deal, and now creators like Mr. Beast are putting out multimillion dollar videos. Just incredible to watch the industry's growth in the past decade.
Man this song was my jam back in the day. I was obsessed with Assassin's Creed back then, plus Smosh was one of the few RUclips channels I followed pretty regularly (and possibly made my own versions of some of their videos)
Assassins creed 3 has only sold 12 million copies worldwide so this video having 100 million even with rewatching there’s a very big chance it was more popular than the game
Optimistic Anthony: “that’s 100 million views bro cmon”
Realistic Ian: “yeah but that’s like 1 million people watching it 100 times.”
For reference, Assassins Creed 3 sold like 12 million copies
Yea but your not paying to watch the video@@Murglie
1 million is still more people than a human brain can picture by a long shot tho
Me who have watched it more than 100 times :)
@@Murglie in 2013 nowadays It's probably much more.
Ian’s mom rightfully deserves her spot on the shelf of classics
Only if she dies and gets cremated
She’s like a religious figure pictured above Ian’s shoulder lmao. It’s beautiful.
Elder brother!, I really love to see you Together! You're Best
The best smosh member
For real
I was expecting this to be them cringing but they literally sat there for half an hour and were like “Yooooo this shit is fire look at that quality production”
Jokes aside, this song is honestly so good on a musical level. Like it’s actually so catchy and sounds so professional.
so true, the George Washington verse goes so hard!
The hook gives me goosebumps.
My buddy Tony and I quote this song every blue moon, but we never forget and end up rapping the song for a minute
bro i grow up with this at 7 lmfao

What a time to be alive
I really wanna see them do this with the hour long April Fools prank video 😂
That would be amazing

"hour long Flashback video" then its just ian and anthony just staring at the camera 😂😂
they sort of did one on anthony’s channel ahah when they did the interview with ian.

1million people watching 100 times. my brother and i definitely watched it about that many times
Love that Shayne and Amanda got their "Smosh Mouth" name for their show and split the channel with this. Amazing idea!
Yeah they actually rebranded the Smoshcast. I wonder if more smosh cast members will pitch podcast ideas for this channel in the future.
So is Shayne and Amanda still hosting Smosh cast?

The fact that theyre both jamming out to the rap while rewatching it makes me so happy
