The LFA is a more desirable car to me, I'd gladly lose every drag race to be lucky enough to hear that sweet high revving Yamaha tuned V10!

The power of the engine does not always depend on its displacement.

@@_retrophile_7473 I totally agree with you. Bigger engine doesn't necessarily mean more power and more performance. People think a (500bhp) 6 litre V8 will be faster than a (500bhp) 2 litre 4 cylinder. Why? There's lots of factors involved. Capacity is not indicative of power output. A smaller engine can make just as much power as a larger engine. Why Tiff launched without revs is beyond me. Perhaps he was told to go easy on the very expensive transmission.
The McLaren Mercedes is incredible, but the list of cars that I'd rather take a passenger lap in than the LFA is very very small.
Its basically maclaren electronic genius, that's why even the latest maclaren are only rear wheel drive

The SLR has a Mercedes AMG drivetrain, it's 5-speed torque converter gearbox was utilized by many other Mercedes-Benz models back in the day, and I'm pretty sure the control electronics is from Merc too, because, you know, there WASN'T ANY McLaren production car to borrow one from...

I've just googled think they got it wrong as online it said the 722 0.62 is 3.4 seconds and top speed for the convertible is 197 mph

But for me, it is the 722. Might be an unpopular opinion.
I really love that supercharger whine at 2:40.
And personally, I feel it looks absolutely amazing. Beautiful yet badass at the same time. It just doesn't feel like a car from 2006.

Hands down, 72 please. The LFA sounds great no denying that but.
The V8 lumpiness, the bass, the supercharger wine it's like a choir with the Tenors and the Sopranos at the same time.
I imagine if that LFA had a manual gearbox. What a challenge it would be. From what I saw, it's very hard to control. But the sound is just one of the bests in this world.
I prefer the LFA, all day every day.

Hehhe I had 2x C55's 😄. The engine is also basically the same minus a supercharger and other bits and bobs.
The LFA is a masterpiece that engine and handling is superb. The noise is unique. And the quality reminds that will never break down.
BO55 plates should be banned.

Tiff and a 2nd gear rolling burnout in an LFA yes please. Also not sure if it would have made a big difference but the LFA does have a launch mode.
Yeah but it’s terrible mate. It was more the tyres were worn and greasy conditions. Surface wasn’t ideal either.
Whatever to loose the race when you’ve got the sound and the look of the LFA.

Great content guys. I like orange, I love yellow, but not so sure on the combination together. That being said I would drive a pink LFA if it meant I could get my hands on one. I have to opt for the SLR on this occasion though. Anything associated with Sir Stirling Moss gets my adoration.
