This is perfect timing. I just told a new bride to be at church tonight I would make a set of crocheted dish clothes and I come home and turn on RUclips to catch up on my favorite video ladies and viola Creative Grandma has the perfect tutorial. Thank you Glenda! ♥
I love these types of dishcloths, Glenda! Keep these patterns up. Your crochet dishcloths are my favorite, and I love all your designs. You're a great teacher. Actuably, when it comes to borders, I like working in the round like this so you don't have to wory about borders, but you are the one who got me to feel comfortable with making borders.
I am sorta new at crocheting but after a couple of try’s I finished this !!! With all the V stitches I found it easier to mark the corners Thank you Glenda for being so detailed in your videos It really helps us newbies !!!
That turquoise looks really lovely. Would make nice wash cloths too. Add a fancy shower gel and perhaps the leftover would make an eye makeup remover pad to make a set
I love this! the yarn is so pretty and I love the simplicity of this cloth, but especially the border. I've always loved little picot borders. thanks for the share Glenda :)
Hello Glenda I have just completed watching this video tutorial, very clear instructions from you and easy to follow along. Great tutorial and a lovely pattern!!! Thank you!!
This is a really pretty cloth. I have a question, is there a special hook to use with cotton? I am using the big spool of cotton from Walmart that I had on hand. Had a difficult time going through stitches with the hook and also with chaining. My thumb aches where I had to grip so hard to get the needle to come through the stitches.
Hello, if your using lily sugar n cream, it is a stiff cotton and I have problems with my hands hurting while using it too. I mostly buy I love this cotton or some of the softer cottons and they are easier on my hands. Walmarts main stays cotton is wonderful too but they don't have many colors. I would say a metal hook would be best.. Hopefully another commenter has a better recommendation for you. 😊Have a wonderful day and God Bless!!

Can't buy Premier here in the UK, but that might not be a bad thing, I love that turquoise one xx
Very pretty. Do you think this could be made into a blanket using the HDC row every few rounds?
That could work. That's a great idea.
I wonder if u continue going around ,if u could make a throw
Yes, you should be able to.
You could also join a bunch of these squares with a lacy join at the picots

She's using a susan bates silvalume hook I think. It's inline, and doesn't have the bulb at the end.
