    I love listening to you! I'm 67 years old and love to crochet. However, I know you will never see another comment like this one. I'm educated (Master's degree) and not crazy. I never had a mother - I was abandoned at age 3. I couldn't figure out why listening to your voice made me want to cry. Apparently (from what a professional told me), your kindness, comforting voice represents what I envisioned a "mom" to be. Even at my age, I guess I'm still not over the loss of never having a mother. I'm so embarrassed to relate all this! I just wanted to let you know how you, as a person, can impact someone. You never know. Much love!!❤

      I think it was very courageous of you to put that out there! I do agree with you that Glenda's voice is very easy to listen to, she is so patient explaining the steps. I think it's beautiful that you associate her to your idea of what a mother would be like!! I'm pretty sure I'm old enough to be her mother, but would have loved to have someone like her in my life growing up! May God bless you, Lisa!!

      Honey I'm 65 and I know what your saying, was put in foster care at age 3. When a woman has a calming voice it does something to me,l and her voice is very calming. Thanks for sharing your story

      @@kilgore53 Thanks for relating to me. It took until my thirties to realize that I was suffering from abandonment issues. It caused so much hurt. Apparently, daughters growing up with no mother is a very detrimental and problematic issue. I really never knew the circumstances of my particular situation, but it sure did a number on my psychological state. It's funny, but I was following the crochet tutorial this morning and I started to cry. I thought I was losing my mind. Then I realized it was the voice!! It was a trigger! I wonder how many women go through this? Thank you so much for your positive acknowledgement.🥰

    Just finishing up this dishcloth. It’s so pretty. Someone is going to love it.just want to take a moment to say ‘thank you’ , for all the beautiful patterns you have shared and all the excellent tutorials that made all the hundreds I’d dishcloths I have made and either gifted, r donated a joy to give. I have donated hundreds of dishcloths to our local food bank and have enjoyed using your patterns as my guide. Thank you so much. I have already started on my 2024 goals for gifting and donating. Literally hundreds of people have received dishcloths made from your patterns in 2023 and several years before that, too. I will continue as long as I am able. Enjoy your Christmas and am wishing you a great 2024!

    Keep up the dishcloth patterns. Your patterns are awesome. You should design some more coasters/scrubbies too with cotton yarn. I like your coaster patterns that you can also turn into scrubbies by making 2 and seaming them together. You should design some more of those. I can't get enough of your videos. They are so pleasant to listen to. I get so excited when you post a video. Happy crocheting, and have a good weekend.

    Hi Glenda🌻
    I believe I’ve made all your circular dish cloths. I love them better than the square ones.
    Has anyone ever made wash cloths for the body??? I wonder how that would work.. 🤔

    • @haleytyrrell9609
      @haleytyrrell9609 11 месяцев назад +1

      Oh yeah, you can use those same dishcloth patterns for washcloths. Cotton yarn can be used for all sorts of goodies. I have made her soap saver patterns which work really well in the shower. I have given them out as gifts to so many people. I love Glenda's voice too. It is very calming indeed. I would love to see her make some granny square dishcloths too. Those are very nice. All her patterns are great. :)

      I just don’t know how the “chunkiness “ of the cotton yarn will feel over my body😅😊
      Good to know you like her soapy pouches. It just seems to clunky for me 😂
