My friend and i install the same bumper on his xj and it is awesome the only problem we have was the locking system you can see his xj on our little chanel call desvio offroad.

Really wish this would work for my ZJ
My latch keeps poping open when I drive. Do you have a fix for this? It clicks into place, but after a few min it opens again. Not sure why it does this.
Nice job. What did you use for a cb antenna and where did you run your cable for it. Looking to do the same, and there is absolutely nothing out there showing how to do that.
Thanks.... We ran the CB coax cable out down by the passenger tail light and strapped down to the bottom of the tire carrier, then running up in the middle of the rack and attacheched it to the CB Antenna. We used black wire loom and zip ties with the round screw holes, used sheet metal screws to secure the cable to the rack. came out great..

What’s the part number for the bomper?
Since I’m running jk wheels with a 5.5 bolt pattern could I press those wheel studs in? Or will I need to use a adapter

Yes the spare tire carrier has serveral different bolt patterns options that allow for 5x4 or 5x5 wheel bolt patterns that you can press the wheel stud in.

Do you think you could put a tire brake light ring on the carrier like a jk?
Probably, by making a bracket.
Did this install lower the jeep? I installed one on mine and the weight brought it down about 2-3 inches.
Depending on the rear spring rate, it could lower the right height. In our case it did drop the XJ about in inch… we used rubicon Express lift. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe…

How far out from the lift gate does this put the tire?

Between this one and the EAG, which one do you feel had the better fit and was better quality? I mean as far as all the holes lining up and the hinge, latch pin, latch release and coating?

Does this come with a light for the license plate like the JCR ones do?
No, the license plate bracket and light are options.

5150 MotorSports did it come with the bumper or did you buy it separate? Just trying to figure out the license plate situation before I put an order in! Lol

It was separate from the bumper... I don’t remember the cost but want to say around $30.00. Let me know if you need further info I can dig up the part number and cost tomorrow evening?
