That GTR is really showing its age now... The launch control, especially in the wet, was always its party piece. The M5 makes it look like Maxima by comparison.
Yup the GTR is still an insanely fast car for anyone who lives in the real world, but like 10-12 years ago it would spank anything and everything and that's just not the case anymore. Others have caught up and the GTR just can't compete anymore on the very highest level. Shame really, sure a Lambo being faster than a Nissan is just kind of the natural state of the world but the GTR name really deserved a successor before it started losing to big ass business sedans :/

That M5cs is a real sports car, wrapped in a sedan outfit. Always loved M5, the CS has got to be one of the best ever. Gotta love the detail of Nurburgring etched in headrest.

Actually, the actual values for 1/4 mile are as follows: Lamborghini SVJ: 10.3 second,BMW M5 CS: 10.6 second,Nissan GT-R R35: 10.8 second. But it's really interesting that GT-R's engine is very old but it can compete with new cars.

What are the tyres (on the lambo, for example). In my experience, Michelin Supersport and the like are not good at all in the (cold)rain. And noticeably frightening when braking very hard. That could explain (who knows) the huge braking distance of the lambo.
Ppl keep forgetting how ancient the gtr really is released in 2007 with 480hp and 435 torque with over the years adding very lil gains of hp 2017 is when it had its best jump in power to 600 hp with a still low amount of 481 torque with the Nismo edition while gaining almost 100 pounds of weight still with slight tweaks of the transmission and suspension but still all the same from 2009 now in 2021 all the same specs of 2017 but with 50 less pounds of weight 15 years of reusing the same car just adding 120 more hp and 45 more torque and different badges Nissan definitely needs to make a move soon

BMW has underrated the hp figures of the M5 CS as 635 but in real world dyno tests it shows 700+hp on crank and 630-650whp.

Actually, the actual values for 1/4 mile are as follows: Lamborghini SVJ: 10.3 second,BMW M5 CS: 10.6 second,Nissan GT-R R35: 10.8 second. But it's really interesting that GT-R's engine is very old but it can compete with new cars.
Easy choice for me. M5 for the daily, and the SVJ for the weekend 👍 😁

First of all u have to pay lots of money on gas,secondly oil consumption is getting worse after 100.000km or smh. and the others. If u want a daily car, u should buy hyundai,kia or 2,3liters engines without any problem but not bmw's 4.4L twin turbo V8. It is sooo expensive to maintain

What are the tyres (on the lambo, for example). In my experience, Michelin Supersport and the like are not good at all in the (cold)rain. And noticeably frightening when braking very hard. That could explain (who knows) the huge braking distance of the lambo.

Ppl keep forgetting how ancient the gtr really is released in 2007 with 480hp and 435 torque with over the years adding very lil gains of hp 2017 is when it had its best jump in power to 600 hp with a still low amount of 481 torque with the Nismo edition while gaining almost 100 pounds of weight still with slight tweaks of the transmission and suspension but still all the same from 2009 now in 2021 all the same specs of 2017 but with 50 less pounds of weight 15 years of reusing the same car just adding 120 more hp and 45 more torque and different badges Nissan definitely needs to make a move soon
They won’t, sales have slowed but people still buy them. I don’t think they have the money for the R&D for a new one I mean think about it. what could they possibly do except had a battery to it make it 800hp and call it a day? The car basically was the perfect car to buy from 2007-2015.

Lamborghini Aventador is one of the greatest sounding car ever, period. Notable others, no particular order: C6 Corvette ZR1 ( I owned one of these!), 360 Challenge Stradale, 458 Speciale, LFA V10, Porsche 918 Spyder, Porsche Carrera GT, Porsche GT3, Ford GT 350, 5.0 Mustangs, Hemi H.cat Dodges.
