The fact that Tai Lung even after 20 years in prison, he still believed in himself that he was destined for the scroll. That's why he was still determined and motivated to get it. That's why he kept going. He ultimately destroyed the prison and the furious five and fought Shifu just to get it and fulfill what he believed to be his destiny. That was until he fought Po and saw the scroll himself. He thought there was nothing on it. He didn't realise it was a mirror and a secret message. That's it. His dreams were shattered after that, and he quickly got nerfed and got weaker fighting Po.
The animals in the furious five weren’t chosen at random, the IRL styles of Kung Fu are all named after those specific animals! Pretty cool attention to cultural details 🤩

No the *entire* Kung Fu Panda fanbase agrees that Tai-Lung was done absolutely dirty. Dude was raised up to believe he was going to be the Dragon Warrior and it was all for nothing. Despite Shifu being one of my favorite characters, he was so wrong for that.
Hopefully he gets redemption in KFP4
Idk how u can call urself a fan when it’s clearly said in the movie by shifu that it was never his decision to make lol oogway was the only one that could pick/ deny someone the dragon warrior title. Besides oogway was right about tai lung being evil because the first thing he did when he didn’t get his way was try to kill everyone. Shifu literally just encouraged tai lung during his training which any good parent would do. Tai lungs bitch ass just couldn’t take the rejection.
What you need to understand is that even Shifu was frustrated when he wasn't chosen, but it wasn't his decision, Shifu and Tai lung are very similar, just notice how Shifu and Tai lung have the same reaction when looking at the scroll, the Tai lung turning frustration into hatred completely blinded him, so in the end he thinks that Shifu wasn't proud of him, when in fact Shifu was so proud that he fed the idea in which he himself believed, that Tai lung would be the dragon warrior, Tigress was also frustrated when she wasn't chosen. If you stop to think about it, Shifu did practically the same thing with Tigress, he just never showed as much affection to her as he did to Tai lung, but it's clear that he also wanted Tigress to be the dragon warrior, the difference is that in the In the end she accepted Oogway's decision

@@Philthorn I can very much understand Tai-Lung’s anger towards shifu and his drive to keep pushing for what he feels he was destined for but I was just surprised at the comment she made because although he is a spoiled brat who was never taught humility, I thought that this girl reacting to the movie would see that although tai lung is understandable in some points, he isn’t understandable in all points. Like yes, be mad at shifu for what he did, but don’t take it out on innocent people in the valley of peace.

He was promised that his hard work and passion will get him a position of dragon warrior. But in the end did not accomplish what he was trained for all his life and put into prison for 20 years. Tai lung one of the best characters ever made to date, his tragic story makes me sympathize with him to this day, will you even watch the other 2 films??? they are very good, Kung fu panda 4 is also going to be released, the new movie is really badass, it is going to be released on March 7th.

@@maitex True. The adults are not traumatized, just bored if one uses cursing like a 5 year old that has just learned new exciting f** word. Cursing in english is so easy and 1 dimensional, and when it's used just to replace punctuations, It's just pointless. Imagine someone jsut vomiting between sentences without any reason. If you really want to sound cool and you are above 5 then use cursing sparingly and when there is actual need for it and then, if you can, add some true wit in it and you might actually make a verbal master piece.

I find it very sad that a young lady that seems to be sensitive and intelligent can't find a better way to express herself than using the F word every few seconds. Cursing all the time (to me, IMHO) is a sign of not been able to find the right words to express yourself. Sorry but I find it extremely annoying and could not watch the video for it.
