These mini boats from Tenshock are outstanding. They have them in Europe (except their ovals are going counterclockwise). I don't have this one (the Mini Scord), but I do have the Mini Eco Volador (submerged prop & rudder), also in red. They are fast, stable, self-right very quickly...and, best of all, are great to use as a 'backup' recovery boat. For use as a recovery boat (my rescue platform is the 'primary' rescue vehicle), I have a 15ft length of fishing line with 3 ping-long balls at one end (separated by approx 2ft between 1st & 2nd, and 2nd & 3rd), plus another ping-pong ball at the other end. The end with a single ping-point ball goes inside the hull before taping on the canopy, while the rest just float behind. I circle the boat being recovered 2-3x, in hopes that the end of the line with 3 ping-ping balls 'catches' on the strut, rudder, etc...and, then, I just tow the rescued boat in. Sometimes, in order to "catch" the boat being rescued, I might have to do the circling things several times, as it doesn't always 'catch' the first time. Best of all, since the prop is underneath the Volador, I'm never worried about catching the fishing line in my prop.
They are outstanding and I have a few of their products as to motors and I am impressed. For recovery, but that is a great idea and it’s merge prop no worries of catching the line Great idea
@@mad_lizard Thank you for 'confirming' it's a great idea...but, I can't take, or accept, credit for coming up with it. A friend (from when I lived in San Jose, before moving to Las Vegas) passed that idea along to me, as that's his 'primary' recovery vessel. I don't know if he came up with the idea, or whether he got it from someone else...but, the least I can do is pass it along to others.
How I felt as well looking at the options too. Decision to be made between the two. Ten shock captured my attention being fiberglass and simple construction. Then carbon fiber and other options as well. To me, the Ten shock Had more options to what I was looking for.
