I actually watched this film for lols. I couldn't believe this bit was real, like you had a super powered killer that wanted to leave the world for ever and people were like no let's keep him here.
Watched original F4 movies which overall I enjoyed but the trailers were enough of a put off that I have never watched this version of F4, but I still came here today to see the PM because 'Pitch meetings are tight' & reviewing aweful movies and shows then tearing them to shreds with humour is 'Super easy, barely an inconvenience' to Ryan which I applaud & thank him for. Congrats on getting the rightly earned Pitch Meeting channel.

Its really genius how subtly off tone this video is from the others, the other pitch videos are kinda fast paced and the producer and pitcher are sarcastically overjoyed about everything. In this video, things are kinda slower and the two talk really normal.Its kinda playing off of how over serious this movie is. Very big brain joke

Yeah this was definitely one of the "OG" pitch meetings. The characters have evolved over 200 freakin meetings. Still though, the tone plays perfectly for the movie.
Bruh, I love all Ryan's reactions as the executive guy. "They punch him a bunch of times but it doesn't really work." (deadpan) "Oh no!" Gets me every damn time.
She manipulates fields of energy into force fields that can make her invisible, allow her to basically fly and she's one of the most powerful characters in comics...so...ya, not really.

Valerian is a weird one for me. I enjoyed the graphic novel, and visually the film is pretty stunning. The actors look great, all the costuming/set design/etc was great. But the script and the acting was awful. I would start to get into it, then a character would open their mouths and ruin it.

Production values have gone up a lot too. Seems like they’re using a handheld camera or something in this one. It keeps wobbling back and forth. Among other things that give the newer videos more polish.
Yea this was one of the first ones. They become more nad more over the top. At the start it was just a pitch meeting with 2 guys talking normal about an over thet op and illogical movie. Then it became more and more comical.
@@LordScottrick The camera wobble in the early ones was added in post (according to a half-hour interview with him you can find on RUclips). He stopped adding it in more recent PMs just to save on production time.
To be honest I wish Hollywood just let the fans make the movies like have contests for best scripts then pay the winner a few million with a writer credit

i think if they're going to bring the fantastic 4 back, have it set in the 60s. somewhere between jfk's assassination and the summer of love where four young people get powers all of a sudden and become this beacon of hope until a baddie shows up and tries to stop them. then, they go into space where the baddie tries to kill them. the fantastic 4 manage to stop the baddie but are frozen in time until.... they're rescued by the guardians of the galaxy who take them to earth and they meet captain america who tells they've been frozen in time for years as he would become their mentor for the 2nd film.
Discovered this Pitch series in 2021. After working backwards and watching these older episodes I’m amazed how much Ryan refined this skit over the years. The editing, caricatures and catch phrases on the new ones are so “tight” it makes these older ones almost unwatchable. Kudos for sticking with it.

Prometheus or Alien Covenant. The characters in the movie have no survival instinct. They put their face in danger or don't turn left or right when running from a rolling spaceship

I love how flat you kept your voice and movements in this one. It matched the movie acting so well. In fact the whole time I watched the movie I was imagining what the pitch meeting would say. I only stayed to watch to the end because I knew you would make it worth the time I spent. :D
considering the fact he is supposed to be the little brother of the woman and therefore if she's not black he can't be f****** ridiculous it's nothing to do with oh my God it's super racist there's not a main character who's not black they are a family genetically related they kind of need them to match

You can tell this was 3 years ago! Ryan got so much better at it! Don’t misinterpret me that was pure comedy to start with but he improved a lot since! Just watch the other fantastic 4 pitch and you’ll know what I mean
It's been over two years since I discovered this series thanks to this video right here. Watching it now...it's weird how the format hasn't changed much, but my brain can tell that the editing is a lot tighter, and Ryan especially is a lot broader and more confident in his delivery.

You can tell this was 3 years ago! Ryan got so much better at it! Don’t misinterpret me that was pure comedy to start with but he improved a lot since! Just watch the other fantastic 4 pitch and you’ll know what I mean
It's been over two years since I discovered this series thanks to this video right here. Watching it now...it's weird how the format hasn't changed much, but my brain can tell that the editing is a lot tighter, and Ryan especially is a lot broader and more confident in his delivery.
