Long before Ryan Reynolds squeezed into the red spandex to play Wade Wilson in Deadpool and Deadpool 2 he starred in 2011’s Green Lantern… which bombed pretty hard. The movie was supposed to be the start of a DC film universe in order to compete with Marvel, but it fell on its face and Warner Bros tried again a few years later with Man of Steel. So what went wrong with Green Lantern? Why did the movie with the talent of Ryan Reynolds, Taika Waititi, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and more get so panned by critics and fans? No, Steve kickass. We did this one week ago-pay attention. There are many Ryans. Some of them wear glasses. All of them are sort of cute. I'm still not convinced that there is anything except the Ryans to watch on SR, though there may be other umm, videos about stuff and things. Have not checked yet.

I swear Mr. George Ryan, however much he's being paid now, deserves a raise. He has single handedly saved this channel and probably generates over half of all there views. Atleast on rewatches alone. I've seen every pitch meeting, and I still can't pass it up when scrolling. They never get old, and as we all know, rewatching pitch meetings is TIGHT!!!

Idk. Screen rant has a BUNCH of 10+ mil views. While the most viewed pitch meeting is 3 mil or smth. I think pitch meetings are the best content screen rant has but I don’t think their 50% of the views.

Gee Gee yes but Screen rant has LOTS of 10+ mil views videos. While the most viewed Pitch meeting is 6-10 mil views. So the most consistent series is prolly pitch meeting but it’s just not HALF their earnings I THINK

Believe it or not that's actually a thing from the comics. Later it was revealed that the ring generated a list of people who were just as worthy as Hal but chose him because he was the closest of the candidates.

Not Marvel but, 20th Century Fox since Marvel Studios had not existed at the time, and Fox owned the rights to the Fantastic Four.
I can say that I found this guy in 2019 when I thought things weren't going to go great for me, and he made laughing again super easy, bearly an inconvenience, man deserves all the raises. that'd be tight!

If I had a coin for everytime a cosmic entity from a super hero comic was turned into a shapeless cloud in a hollywood adaptation, I would have two coins. Which is not a lot, but it is weird that it happened twice.

lets just appreciate the fact that he would have actually had to watch this movie multiple times to make this. like what a sacrifice
idk what's this all about. I've seen it for the first time few days ago, and was surprised about how good (imo ofc) this movie was. I totally don't understand why people hate it so much ;d It had some fun scenes, smart/wise quotes and believable superhero who has his insecurities, can be afraid and feels like he just isn't fit to be responsible hero GLC wants him to be. Movie has few flaws, but like all others, and overally is cool
