- Newly-released video shows the arrest of a quadriplegic Miami-Dade man in an unusual case: He’s accused of hitting an officer with his wheelchair.

I think they provoked him and he either doesn’t realize it yet or he’s afraid to say it. Because they took his mom and caregiver when he asked him not to. I mean, why else would he want them not to take her? In fact, maybe he was afraid to say how needy he was. The thing that gets me is that he said if you take her, you gotta take me. So he got what he wanted. And if I’m interpreting it right, it’s sort of commendable to him. I don’t know who had The greater Napoleon complex, the gentleman who got arrested for the supervisors.

I remember 2 months ago when this story came out, everyone was crucifying the cops over this. This is why I hate the media. They finally get the bodycam footage, show that in fact they didn't do anything wrong, and not even an apology.
Yep! People were saying there was no way he could have hit them with his chair and bought his story about the acid reflux spitting. It’s actually wild how much disdain people have for law enforcement.

He didn't think this body cam would ever come out. His intentions at the beginning by going on local news, was to have public outcry and the police department to drop the charges. The best they did was offer him a plea deal and he declined and then they released the body cam
