Used to be in a prog metal band in the late 2000’s. We opened for ID and Carnifex in Spokane Washington, impending doom was the only big band that ever actually watched our set. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met
I met them at a meet & greet warped tour 2011? maybe? I talked with Brooke for 20 minutes before their booth even "opened." They truly didnt care about fame, they wanted the word of God to reach people like us. The "outcasts" or whatever title you want to give to troubled teens. The most genuien person ive met, and a great example for kids to look towards Christ. Here i am today, and i still listen to them, and truly hold that moment dear to my heart. Such great guys regardless of your beliefs. They listened to your set while the others sat in their busses? Thats true character man, good on them.
Saw Carnifex at a Hacienda after a show (my friends and I left early, evidently so did they). We enjoyed their set so we told the waitress to give them a round of beer on us. When that happened the singer looked at our table for like 1 whole second before going back to talking to his bandmates. No thumbs up, no nod, nothing.
I’ve been listening to these guys for awhile. But I’ve only recently found god. I love what these guys are doing for us christian metal heads. Keep it coming, bros! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
"Christian Metal" is an oxymoron. When I was a Christian, I was taught this was considered "devil music." I'm not religious anymore but I would think a real Christian should be listening to Skillet and Jason Gray instead of "devil music."

this whole EP remains one of the heaviest things I've ever heard. I know, "heavy" is subjective and vocally I've heard filthier things but something about this song, I Must End, and Hellbent are just huuuge and ferocious and I love it
