I’m a 56 year old metalhead and I told my boy (son) of 37 years - “I wish there was a Christian band that was as heavy as Lorne Shore or Mental cruelty” and he sent me these guys. I was upset that he didn’t introduce them to me before and that I hadn’t heard of them myself. Before I came to Christ I loved heavy metal, much like this, but secular music that I used to listen to and think about all sorts of evil things. After I acknowledged my sin and asked for salvation, I got rid of all that music and listened to main stream Christian music for a while. I have nothing against main stream, it's all great stuff, but this speaks to me in a way that I can relate to. There is a lot of energy in this music, it urges believers to stay strong, faithful and alive in Christ, if you take it just for the lyrical messages. This music helps me to focus on my faith and to be repentant of some of my fleshly desires and in that respect it is a blessing to me. Love this band and many others in Christian metal and various similar sub genres. If I can't catch these guys at a show some day, we'll all walk together with the Lord in Heaven and we can sing to Him there!!!
+Christopher Gaddis I really don't like mainstream christian music. It is very common for the bands to completely steal a song (note for note) from another band, or they steal a popular christian song and just add a chorus or a few verses and then sell it. We are supposed to use our gifts and talents to worship God, but Lincoln Brewster is the only mainstream christian musician that I have heard who actually uses his musical ability.
Meanwhile, almost every single christian metal band fully uses their musical abilities and they use all of their energy to worship God.
I still listen to Slamming Brutal Death, Deathcore, Goregrind n such. I just enjoy the thrill of thier music. Even though I'm a fan of things bloody and evil n such I'm not all that violent and or resentful of Christ.

Just recently got back into metal recently but thank you Jesus for Christian Metal. Ive been asleep but now I'm awake haha. This song is amazing so stoked for the new album dropping this summer. Godbleshya. I went to see them live in 2018. I was approached by a random fan that said I was the hype man of the night!! All glory to God I love Jesus is what I responded to her!! My wife asked how I could listen to this "shit" and I responded with (and keep in mind I'm not really religious) "I'm listening to the Lords music" and she gave me the biggest eye roll ever lol needless to say a full blown argument about religion ensued and it was dumb. Bottom line, I'm happy these guys are singing and playing music about whatever they believe in and I'm here to enjoy it all the same.

You should look up Brooke’s explanation behind making it. Also, death metal is NOT evil. It just sounds like it is sometimes. Will people ever realize that Christian Metal is made for christians who love heavy music? Yet, they say it's stupid. What, every song must be about rape, killing and satanism? Yet they say metal music isn't satanic!? One of the first christian metal bands was actually Death Metal.
I know about Intig, but usually this is what people consider ''metal'' which is why i left this culture long ago, i'm more of a hardcore punk guy and the fusion genres between Metal and Hardcore are really good.
