josh beers That is just an effect given by the way you hear the drumkit's volume BUT this volume can have gain on it and other effects. Making a drumkit sound so good implies a sound engineer who knows what he/she is doing. Trust me, the guys don't need to smash and destroy drums in order for the heaviness of the drumkit to be felt. It just implies lots of processing, hope it helps :)
Excellent new album! This song reminds me a lot of The Acacia Strain with maybe a little Meshuggah thrown in, mostly on this particular track. I know you guys work hard to come up with new material, but it's a compliment when I say I wish you're albums had 50 tracks because I can't get enough :D keep it up!

Man I can never get enough of this band they always blow me away and seem to release legendary music every album they do something different that puts them on top of all deathcore. Whitechapel, suicide silence, oceano, traitors, Chelsea grin, none of those bands can touch Impending Doom.
I found the full CD online 3 days ago. Gave it a listen, definitely their most "angry" and in your face album. I just miss the elements from Nailed, Dead, Risen, especially vocally. Enjoy the album when it is released!
