For those who're over with acne, please tell our other viewers when did you stop having them? So they can realy and say it'll be gone one day for sure 🙏
The Infographics Show I am 10, and usually people in my grade and up have a few pimples or acne, and I even started my period when I turned 10, my friends didn’t and have pimples. I don’t have any pimples ;-;
and that means stressing out about your acne, then having more acne! i'm currently on that stage.. aand both my parents had a lot of acne as teenagers, you can imagine how crowded with red spots my face is.
I'm 23 and still get pimples a lot. High school was very bad time for me, still have those scars left. Keeping your body cool by sipping on fruit juices and drinking coconut water, lemonade and lots of water helps. I usually use a neem based face wash to keep them away.
I'm 28 girl and the only thing that has recently helped is I stopped drinking regular milk and only drink organic, lactose free milk. I use Neutrogena's Salycilic Acid face wash at night and use a gentle face wash mixed with a bit of the Neutrogena one in the morning. Make sure you massage the face with the face wash for at least a minute and don't use hot water because that could result in irritation of your skin. (Also try not to get the wash on the delicate skin around your eyes). I change my pillow case every three days and I don't touch my face unless my hands are clean. I use the Neutrogena Hydro boost moisturizer at night (the one made for extra dry skin) and the Hydro boost (water gel) in the morning with a physical sunscreen on top (Olay Sensitive Skin moisturizer with spf 30). Physical sunscreen is best for acne prone ppl because none of it is really absorbed into the skin the way chemical sunscreens are. The only downside is that physical sunscreens have a white, almost silver cast at first so darker skin types may not work well with it. I figure if I have another break out like the ones I was having for years I'll finally end up going on Isotretinon (Accutane).
Doesn't matter what studies say to me, when I cut out all chocolates and sweets (except sugarfree versions) my skin is flawless, regardless of gelatin/dairy content, and when I have one choc bar or anything with a high sugar content I get at least 1 pimple.
So true! Milk is pushed into kids way more then it should. Ever sense I decreased my dairy intake my acne has gotten slightly better. My sister, who’s vegan and therefore drinks no milk, is completely acne free
Secret is keep your pores clean and skin hydrated. Dont use harsh products. Always go for the products that are mild, preferably ones that claim to be for sensitive skin. To clean pores, use charcoal clay masks every after 2 days. Not the peel off ones ... Simple. Enjoy :) For more information, check out Skyekeenan on Wattpad :)
Lily is coconut oil clogs pores. Opt for argan or rose hip oil instead. Tea tree can be drying which can irritate the skin, itd be more appropriate to use it as an overnight spot treatment , but id go for spot treatments that actually restores the damaged skin not just anti bacterial like tea tree
All in all, we can all agree, it sucks absolute ass to be a teenager smh -_- (I'm so close to being done with my teenager years, but I still have pimples and scars like now *throws tables*)
I’m 13 and I have LOADS of acne on my forehead and blackheads on my nose!! I’ve tried loads of cream and face scrubs etc but nothing works! I think it’s because of stress not just from school work but other private reasons too and because some of these stress reasons happen at home and school and anywhere else I go then how am I meant to stressing like I HATE THEM!
Professional Unicorn go to your nearest derma and if she doesn't prescribe u with accutane(google it) go to another. it cured my severe acne and severe oiliness, now its just scars and i need now laser treatment to remove scars.
I can agree because I found out that it was a bad habit of me trying to pick on my acne that made my acne worse.I realised and stopped doing that a year after the outbreak and it got better so all I can say is just wash your face when its oily and dont touch it
I never had severe acne and can't attribute it to good genes because my sister has suffered tremendously from it. I used to get the occasional zit here and there but ever since I stopped dairy and sugar, my skin looks even better. Exercise helps make the skin glow too.
In jr. High I had really bad acne I was so insecure about it I had it on my face my back and chest if i leaned back in my chair or would hurt my back then i discovered accutane that was a miracle i am so glad I did it now I use x out it has 8.5 percent of Benzel peroxide then the mere 2 percent over the counter stuff it works wonders
I removed all the mirrors in my house. I haven’t popped a zit on my face in almost a year! I get a lot less, and age has a lot to do with it, I’m not a teen anymore. BUT not picking at them is way healthier and I don’t think about how my skin looks. Also stopped using acne wash, I think acne wash was making it worse.
I remember when I was still going to the gym and was trying to bulk up. I pretty much drink protein shake everyday and i put full cream milk on it. Holy the acne was unreal
I used to get these when I ate chocolate and now that I dont eat it I havent gotten them at all... shame that I had to leave chocolate but I dont want to have those annoying things again on my face.
Best thing I found to help with acne was: Buy more pillowcases. You can get a 2 pack for $7 on Amazon with free shipping. Get enough to have a fresh pillowcase each night until you do laundry.
It sounds weird but I've noticed that people who have acne in their youth age better than those that had near perfect skin. The acne sufferers don't get nearly as many wrinkles when they age.
I had the most horrible acne from the 6th grade up to 8th grade , I was extreme insecure . I’m sure hormones had to do something with it but looking back at it , my diet of greasy foods and junk food followed by a lack of water really messed my face up, once I started being athletic naturally I ate right and drank a gallon of water a day and soon after my face got smooth
i never had acne when i hit puberty either so i think genes plays a huge factor, my parents didn't have acne before i only get one or two pimples when i don't wash off makeup properly or dirty pillows and of course..during the time of the month i get like 2 that goes away in a couple days
I and probably most other people as teens were told to never pop pimples. But I figured early on a way to pop them without further incident. I don't know if this works for everyone, so I can't be held liable if this doesn't work for you, but since doing this, pimples became pretty much a negligible issue. What I did was stretch out the area of skin around the pimple with three fingers on one hand, stretching it thin, and with the other hand, using a fingernail, gently scratch it until it breaks the surface, leaving a tiny cut. It may bleed a tiny bit, but isn't painful. From there, just squeeze the skin to drain it of the oil buildup, and wash it away with water, then dry with a clean cloth. There may be a small bump and redness left over, but after a day or two it returns to normal. Ten years on, I've had tens or hundreds of pimples, left no scars, and didn't require any fancy powders, creams, or dietary changes. Just be sure to be gentle with it, as you only need to break a small sliver of skin to drain it, and especially important is to keep the area clean with water. If it gets infected, you'll have a much worse problem, especially if it's on your face, so try this method at your own risk.
Back in middle school I was the girl with the most pimples and it made me really insecure. Then when I entered high school I bought this mud mask and I only used it two times and my pimples have gone away completely. My confidence went up. I still have the mud mask but I haven't used it since February and I've been pimple free. Oh and I still drink soda and fast food. Haha
I am 16 and I never got a Simple pimple or any Bump on my face My Secret is I eat Salad for dinner every And drink 4 litres of water everyday and I drink less milk and I do yoga and breathing exercises I go out everyday
This falls into upbringing as a kid. A proper good upbringing( Taking care of the body, eating healthy good meals) is key to preventing breakouts even heath problems.
Detoxifying your body by eating clean is the key to prevent acne. Avoid eating animal products, gluten, preservatives, refined sugars, soy lecithin; which they give hormonal imbalance to the body. Eat clean foods such as fruits, veggies, nuts, and grains; they all have nutritious properties and it will keep your gut clean which is also a key to have a clear skin. Chocolate is not a problem, is with the junk of ingredients they mixed it with. I consume raw cacao every single day and my skin is smooth as silk.
I suffered from acne. That whatever I put on my face be it acne cream or soap I would flare up. So I stopped using all of that, now when I take a shower I clean myself with soap from the neck down while my face is only washed with water and nothing else. Now it is super rare for me to get pimples. My sister in law began to do the same thing and cleared up as well. Sometimes less is more.
Melbourne University doesn't know squat, from my experience everytime I eat milk chocolate or pop or anything with high fructose corn syrup I break out. I switched to water, dark chocolate, pop with cane sugar and no HFCS and my face is clear. I also noticed that crappy foods that are made with cheap cooking oil causes me to break out. You are what you eat so I eat much better now and my face is clear
i'm only 1 person but for 13 years from the age of around 10 to 23 i had horrible acne. A few months back i quit drinking soda and mostly drink water. Now it has mostly gone away. I also quit eating tons of sugary foods. Its not a diet but a lifestyle choice. The scars will still be around for awhile since i had constant breakouts for so long. I don't know if it will help but if your desperate this is something that you could try. I still buy sweets such as ice cream but now i spend the same amount of money on ones of higher quality. I enjoy them less often but when i do treat myself its better than it use to be.
Used to have such HORRIBLE acne on my face and back in middle/high school. back then. I can't 1000% sure say "all you need to do is change your diet and exercise!" because i haven't been to the gym in over a year and 80% of my diet now is just coffee, water, and sandwiches. I would say it was definitely hormones that played a big role. Towards my senior year my acne got dramatically better and once in college it almost became non existent. Now i just say always wash my face twice a day and use some moisturizer and sunscreen. Also dark spot correction cream is great as well clean & clears spot treatment. zits will disappear usually after 1-2 days.
We have a saying at my school which says If you have zits or many of it, means that you masturbate. Which is kind of true, both scientifically and from what we experience. When masturbation accrues a lot of hormones start working and testosterone is one of it and when you at a young age start doing it, it disrupts your hormone balance which effects your acne.
I know that if I eat healthier and exercise more my acne goes down. There came a point where I had very little acne and to test and see if food and exercise were helping, I decided for a month to eat canned foods and more “American” style meals mainly made of meat bread and hardly any vegetables. I would also partake in one healthy meal a day just so I wouldn’t feel completely sick. It was disgusting and almost a week in my acne skyrocketed and it maintained that level for the rest of the month. There were also many other side effects like lack of sleep, stomach pains and emptiness (ate more calories too) headaches etc. So my conclusion is yes food does affect your skin as much as it affects the rest of the body. Is it the main factor, no but it is a big one as my acne has never gone away. Im older than 21 and I’m not going through hormonal changes as a teen would. I would also like to note it took me almost 3 months to get back to where I started at the beginning of that one month trial. I know what you eat can change and heal as well as prevent a lot of diseases from occurring especially since your immune system requires proper food and healthy bacteria to be maintained in order to function optimally. Doesn’t mean you will be 100% but you can get pretty close and that’s good enough reason. Diets opposite of a healthier one have even greater percent chances of harming you, and even faster at doing so.
I am 17 and never really got a severe case of acne max was like 3-5 small pimples on face and from my experience i get it when i eat greasy food but then it will be gone after a week of not eating greasy food.
I'm 31 and suffering from acne since age 15.... Suffering has never stopped and I've already spent lots of money and finally havev given up few years back. Sometimes they're more SomEtimes less got used to it now.....
Vaccines That's my guess. I had very few back when the schedule was limited and I've always had very clear skin. I'm curious, what are other people experiences? Let me know.
Don't pop your spots!! I did an experiment I had one spot on my left side check and on one the right and I popped one and left the other, the one that I didn't popped dissappeard in a day the other one that I popped got even worse! And left a freaking scab. So yeah don't pop spots ok
Drink water and use a lemon juice mask. It’s the only thing that helped me deal with my acne and it made most of it go away. The lemon juice helps the scars a lot too. Best treatment is accutane by far, that is if you can afford the treatment.
Steps to get rid and avoid acne: 1. Wash your face with warm water using mild facial wash and rinse with cold water. I recommend Cetaphil. Do this when you wake up and before you sleep. 2. Take vitamin C everyday. It helps not only to avoid colds but to also help keep your skin fresh. (for women, you can also add vitamin E) 3. Avoid cosmetics if you can, but if you really need to wear make ups, ensure to not put too much and not allow the make up to stay for hours. Wash your face everytime you need a touch up if you can. 4. Eat lots of veggies and fruits.
Skim milk causes acne due to the greater amount of hormones, full milk doesn't aggravate the skin as much. Also, a lot of people use gel or wax and don't wash their hair when they go to bed, your pillow will rub it on your face, so wash your hair before going to sleep. Don't wash your face with soap this will change the acidity and cause your skin to make more sebum which can cause acne. For people with acne on their shoulders, back and chest, try to wash your clothes with laundry detergent that doesn't contain perfume, perfume can also aggravate the skin. Just some simple tips for everyone at home.
That makes sense. School literally kills me...and school is also the reason why I suffer from depression. I only have one year left, but...I still hate my life
Food causes can be individual. For me, dairy, but that’s not necessarily true for everyone. Plus environmental factor like sun, wind, or temperatures. That’s for acne rosacea. Teenage acne is acne vulgaris.
I don't usually get them, I get one little pimple here and there usually on my left check sometime, but I goes away fast. I was my face 2 times a day and put moisturizer cream and vaseline 💚
I hate when my cystic acne is exploding, bleeding and swelling in public but that one person with otherwise flawless beautiful skin complains about that one little blackhead.
It may just be genetics..it may just be the type of dry/combination skin I have...but I dont get zits often. I wash my face with coconut oil, tea tree oil, and I drink a lot of water. I also dont wear makeup that often. Im 18 and I havent had any major breakouts. so.. idk
Well about chocolate i think its true bcz i dont have it(acne/pimples) and i dont eat chocolate at all..i mean i eat but rarely like once in one or two months or sometimes even more..

WHY DIDNT YOU SHOW ME WHEN I AHD PUBERTY
I just can't get enough of these animations
I've tried e everything but my acne won't get away. So perhaps eating steel will help me get rid of acne. That's my last resort.
very informative
Thank you!
You are what you eat so I eat much better now and my face is clear
wow that's a great informative video. We liked it
thanks infographics show
i'm only 1 person but for 13 years from the age of around 10 to 23 i had horrible acne.
I hav acnes on my forehead any tips to get rid of it ,it would be very helpful
The first I did when I saw this video was “OMG MY FAVORITE RUclipsR IS Making a video on a topic I neeed help with”
I'm 31 and suffering from acne since age 15.... Suffering has never stopped and I've already spent lots of money and finally havev given up few years back. Sometimes they're more SomEtimes less got used to it now.....
Vaccines
That's my guess.
The rate u upload is awsome
Drink water and use a lemon juice mask. It’s the only thing that helped me deal with my acne and it made most of it go away. The lemon juice helps the scars a lot too. Best treatment is accutane by far, that is if you can afford the treatment.
Steps to get rid and avoid acne:
1. Wash your face with warm water using mild facial wash and rinse with cold water. I recommend Cetaphil. Do this when you wake up and before you sleep.
2. Take vitamin C everyday. It helps not only to avoid colds but to also help keep your skin fresh. (for women, you can also add vitamin E)
3. Avoid cosmetics if you can, but if you really need to wear make ups, ensure to not put too much and not allow the make up to stay for hours. Wash your face everytime you need a touch up if you can.
4. Eat lots of veggies and fruits.
I clicked this harder than I was supposed to
Skim milk causes acne due to the greater amount of hormones, full milk doesn't aggravate the skin as much.
Also, a lot of people use gel or wax and don't wash their hair when they go to bed, your pillow will rub it on your face, so wash your hair before going to sleep.
Don't wash your face with soap this will change the acidity and cause your skin to make more sebum which can cause acne.
For people with acne on their shoulders, back and chest, try to wash your clothes with laundry detergent
that doesn't contain perfume, perfume can also aggravate the skin.
Just some simple tips for everyone at home.
I hope scientists develop a safe and effective vaccine against acne, I ain't scared of needles anymore
That makes sense. School literally kills me...and school is also the reason why I suffer from depression. I only have one year left, but...I still hate my life
nice vid man
Food causes can be individual.
Did anyone else get a skincare ad before the video ??😂
Finally that's what I'm waiting for thanks a lot
For some reason greasy foods don’t cause acne for me but sweets are literally the worst for my face for some reason
Great video! Keep em coming
I hate when my cystic acne is exploding, bleeding and swelling in public but that one person with otherwise flawless beautiful skin complains about that one little blackhead.
My friend had TERRIBLE acne scars and he got in a pretty bad fire accident and his face got burned and his skin grew back with 0 scars
It may just be genetics..it may just be the type of dry/combination skin I have...but I dont get zits often. I wash my face with coconut oil, tea tree oil, and I drink a lot of water. I also dont wear makeup that often. Im 18 and I havent had any major breakouts. so.. idk
I'm gonna need this I'm going to middle school next school year thank u for sharing this
My.older brother gave me the answer in high school “ keep your hands off your face “ “ dont even THINK about your face” worked .
Just in time for spring when we sweat and get our pores dirty thanks infographics
If your blood sugar stays high for a while it gives you bad acne too
Well about chocolate i think its true bcz i dont have it(acne/pimples) and i dont eat chocolate at all..i mean i eat but rarely like once in one or two months or sometimes even more..
Keep your face clean and wash it with water or face wash 2 times in a day and your acne(excluding those caused by hormonal change) will get reduced
