    I followed this recipe exactly as written in the description and was surprised how little product there was. It only took about 5 minutes for everything to melt, not 20. My compact is much smaller then yours and barely covered the bottom. And when it cooled it was very hard and would not adhere to the bristles of my brush. All ingredients are brand new. Any recommendation would be appreciated.

      I have! You’ll find what you’re looking for quite easily on my blog 🙂
      If you visit humblebeeandme.com/search and search for it, it should pop right up.
      Alternatively, you can navigate my recipes by category; the main menu contains a “Recipes” link that leads to many categories (like hair, face, body, etc.) and sub-categories (face lotions, body butters, shampoos, etc.). If you’re not looking for a super-specific recipe, those categories are a great place to start narrowing your search.
      If a particular formula has a video it will be linked to directly inside the blog post; if you’ve found the formula on RUclips, the link to the blog post is always in the description box below the video! You can also find a big collection of all the blog posts with partner videos here: www.humblebeeandme.com/recipes-with-videos/.
      And, if you’re looking for recipes that utilize a specific ingredient, look the ingredient up in my Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/)! Every entry contains tons of useful information about each ingredient, plus a list of the 8 newest recipes I’ve released using it.
      Happy making!

They don’t seem very simple maybe to most but have you seen the list of ingredients on some foundations? This looks pretty simple in comparison LOL I would love to see a cream blush kind of recipe soon! I have been working on cream blushes and bronzers for a while but I am feeling that I may need to work with some more Cosmetically elegant, sciencey ingredients to get the texture I’m going for.

    Where did you buy the ingredients and how much does this cost, total?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  2 года назад

      I always link all the ingredients for any given formulation in the blog post, which is linked in the description box below the video (that's one of the many reasons I highly suggest reading the blog post as well as watching the video! If you're not sure what I mean by the "description box", read this: www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/whats-the-description-box-on-youtube/.).
      Sometimes those links break because they're always off-site links, or sometimes the store I've linked to isn't in your country. That's why I also have a giant page of places to shop all over the world, which you can find here: www.humblebeeandme.com/resources/. It doesn't have every country in the world, but it does contain all the online stores I know about. If your country isn't listed, that's because I don't know about any online stores in your country. You could try looking for a local Facebook group for people who like making soap & other cosmetics-they may be able to recommend places to shop.
      And for some more discussion on ingredients, I recommend these FAQs:
      www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/why-dont-you-only-use-ingredients-that-are-easily-available-globally/

    Does the liquid foundation in your book have Dimethicone in it?

    • @rojooz2003
      @rojooz2003 5 лет назад +7

      No. It is a straight simple mineral make up. The book is worth it in my opinion for the color mixes alone. Matching skin tone is hard and the book gives excellent mica/oxide ratios for every skin tone.
