I noticed the door handle & lock cables was unattached you didn't show that... As for the switch, just remove the little short screws(about 7 to 10 more or less) & the door handle & door bracket all comes out & you have easy access to the clips without breaking them, and it saves plenty of time & frustration from trying to do it like the video...
I found the best way to remove the switch was to unsnap the outside tabs then very gently cut the switch in pieces. This takes a little longer but it protects the inside tabs.
Thank you! This worked for my 2013 Sonata except it was 3 screws instead of clips holding in the switch. Everything else to take of the panel was the same and it took me about an hour because I was worried about snapping the door clips. My door panel was held on with plastic and rubber plugs so in the future I can just pull it off with more force without worrying about breaking clips.
Before I lifted up on the door panel I went all around the outside prying little by little. I agree, the clips are very fragile so must be very careful.
I appreciate the video but this leave too much room for area by breaking the clips on the tight side in between the door and the clips, the right way is to remove all the screws surrounding the door handle and switch and it will remove the whole thing and then you can access the clips without breaking them, once there broke you have to buy the whole part that the screws are holding onto. appreciate the effort but this is totally wrong
Thank you for your comment. No doubt you have to be very careful. I actually watched several videos on RUclips prior to doing it myself. All the videos I found did it the exact same way. Fortunately, I didn’t have any issues

It's wrong way to do this job.
Unscrew those 10 screws, take off the whole switch panel, then you can see both sides of the switch easily.
This way caused me to break the clips on the inside of the door which you can’t get anything in there it see where to pry open! Must be an easier way!
