Can I just add...if any of the metal hangers hanging the crystals needs replacing, you can use jewlery"pins" that are used in jewelry making and round tip jewlery pliers to replace worn and/or broken crystal hangers. Haven't seen any for sale but making my own jewlery I recognized the connection and having worked at Michael's and being a crafter...this will do the trick nicely.

A neighbor gave me to change only the electric cables, I said I would only change them if he let me restore it all and he agreed. He said he was happy to see her again, he chose his color and we went to work. He was very pleased with the result.
As an electrician I’m afraid I wouldn’t let you touch anything electrical. If you don’t want to learn the proper way to rewire something you might want to let an electrician do it. Wouldn’t want someone to get a nasty shock or see your house burn down.
