Cool idea with the suppression. With this, you are including the color replacement from the Ultra Keyer in the spill suppression. Intentional? I Haven't thought of it this way. If you use another keyer like a chroma key, then your approach seems to be equivalent to using an inverse key to mask a desaturation of the original - which is also useful but only needs two nodes :-)
Also thanks for all the shortcuts - it seems I forgot a couple on my keyboard shortcut list! :-)

Hey Bernd About the Ultrakeyer, nope. It was not intentional . Many ways to do the same thing! :)

@@millolab Ah ok. I thought you intended to utilize it. I sometimes use the Delta Keyer or just the Matte control tool to purely get a spill map from the keyer and then do my own spill replacement with that. E.g., for adding custom spill color or for adaptive despill etc. I was wondering if you had something similar in mind here. Either way, the tutorial got me thinking, thanks :-)

Hello, relatively new fusion user here loving your advanced tutorials! Rare to see that kind of content, gives me a lot more ideas of what is possible. Yet sometimes i would be happy about an extra sentence on Why u do choose a certain node or step in the process. Hoping for a lot more great tutorials still! :)

Good stuff, although I don't have any idea what's going on in tip 9. I watched Vito's explanation of channel Booleans but they still confuse me.

If you subreact a desaturated image from the same image but with the color component, you end up with just the color component. the rest should be pretty much self explanatory :)

ya thats a good collection of tips - for suppression though - why not just use spill supression on matte control - thats what it was designed for - although i like the ya you did it.
