A big shout out to Alan and Marilyn Bergman, the famed lyricists who wrote not only these haunting lyrics but the words to dozens of famous movie and tv theme songs. Wiki them...sheer genius.

Hollywood never had the sense to pair McQueen and Dunaway in anything again. WHY? They sizzled as a screen couple, and could have been the Bogart and Bacall of the 60s and 70s. (What a remake of "Key Largo" they could have made, with Marlon Brando as Johnny Rocco!)

Lots of people have covered this haunting tune, and many have done a fine job of it...still, this is my favorite version.

I can still see Faye Dunnaway (Vickie) looking to the sky thinking she had let the love of her life slip through her fingers. When you knew that it was over you were suddenly aware that the the autumn leaves were turning to the color of her hair. Why did the summer go so quickly was it something that I said.

RIP Noel. Great rendition of the Michel Legrand song. Suited the film perfectly, beautiful and evocative of a doomed love affair.

Steve McQueen had a presence like no other.... watch any of his films.... he just had ‘it’

Anyone thinking of singing that song should resist the temptation. You will be upstaged instantly by Mr Harrison. RIP Sir. ❤

Oh, that was one of the best movie at 60´s... with an extraordinary and cool Steve MaCqueen, my favorite actor with Paul Newman, and the gracious Faye Dunaway...

A legendary film and maybe Steve‘s best work. Certainly, Faye Dunnaway at her glorious best, all those many years ago.......

" The Thomas Crown Affair" is the vintage movie with vintage actors Steve McQueen, Faye Danaway and Noel Harrison singing the lyrics. While watching the video gives me goosebumps listening to the theme song. 💓.

Great movie, Steve McQueen was at his best and the music and scenery phenomenal, but of course Hollywood had to ruin it by the remake. Thanks for uploading this.
