You should definitely do a cookbook. Been binge watching all these videos. you shiuld do a recipe book and some history etc about all the awesome dishes.
Great video, as always... My curries at home have been raise up to whole new level since I started watching your channel. Because I live alone, so I tend to 'batch cook' and portion it off into containers for freezing. But the still taste good, though some of my curries are banned under the Geneva Convention ;)
Have subscribed just over a month. Love the recipes and also the easy explanation of how to do cook them. Do have to get some of the more complex ingredients, though have many of those used. You are a very humble and great guy and so glad I have found your channel. I make decent Bangladeshi/Indian dishes, but have learned so much more to bring them to the next level. From an Irish man who loves the food. Keep up the great work. Thanks so much!
I've been watching you for a bit now. Loads of great recipes which I've tried and enjoyed. Your restaurant is only 20 minutes down the road so I'm going to have to pop in
I'm a big mutton curry fan, this recipe, ingredients and cooking method looks amazing. Thanks for the wonderful instructions and demonstrating the method, cheers!!
Thanks for the inspiration! I make vegan versions of your recipes. For this I used chunky cut chestnut mushrooms, soy yoghurt and blitzed desiccated coconut instead of lamb, yoghurt and milk powder. Turned out great. Thanks again. 👍🏻
I love your cooking as well as demonstrating. It’s really WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL, Latif! However I am a Bengali from Calcutta and is very much interested to try some non-vegetarian recipes from Bangladesh. Needless to say, your Korma looks flavoursome, mouthwatering and tempting. Thanks for your all cooking shows & good efforts. Best wishes always!
Alsalam alaikum chef, please I would like to know if you can make a video on how to make Kashmiri paste because I couldn’t find it in Indian store thank you very much
Br Latif can you make Chicken Tikka Biryani that they usually make in Indian Restaurent in the UK? Its not a traditional indian style biryani layering process, its more of a stir fry with pilau rice, onions, peppers and spices with meat. The taste is absolutely amazing.
Latif, I'm a retired Canadian living in Toronto and I love cooking. I generally cook Indian, Italian, Thai, Mexican dishes and I love learning all the tips and tricks for the Indian food from your channel. I was wondering if you could let me know where you get those deep frying pans you use in this video. I'm up in Canada, so not sure I'd be able to get the same ones, but are they just stainless steel with a wooden handle? Keep up the amazing work and the amazing meals... A Canadian fan...
If there is a large Indian community in your area/city look for the large stores. They usually have a supply of cookware. Alternatively you could ask you local Indian restaurant where they buy there supplies from. It is usually a wholesaler who also can provide cookware.
@@ChaosAlpha Holy mackerel! I had no idea you would reply, but thank you very much. I will let you know if I can find what I'm looking for. Thanks again. Keep up the amazing work.
There's a large Indian / S. Asian community in Mississauga. There are (or at least were - don't know what's changed in the past couple of years) a few large stores in the Dundas / Hurontario area that might sell cookware.
Dear Latif, My grandson loves your channel! I supply most of the spices for him, can you please explain what a table spoon to you is, I am quite old so there is a teaspoon a dessert spoon and a table spoon, I think a table spoon is too much for a dish for 4 to 6 people please put me right as I don’t want to mention it to my grandson and make myself look silly! I usually use a rounded teaspoon or my special one I have in my masala dabba tin I want make this wonderful lamb curry !! Thank you so much😊
Wow you are so lucky I loved mutton when I was young even though we did not get it at home much. But here in Germany I cannot find it anywhere. Lamb is a no go as it is very expensive but I will keep trying
Assalaamu alaykum latif, just wanted to know the difference in adding fresh milk compared to the powdered milk. Will it maje a difference and is it best to use powdered milk rather than fresh milk
Assalamu-alaikum. Latin bhai, can we smash/grind the elachi/cardamoms before we put them in or use elachi powder? Also is there a substitute for the almond flour that is not an allergen?
@@LatifsInspired i use dates just one or two. it provides an alternative flavor to almonds, its certainly sweeter but still adds some depth to the dish. Another great video will be making this one soon 👍👍
Hello chef, the pans you use these are aluminium? im trying to look for silver pots/pans but i cant find them. can you recommend which pan/pots good for cooking curry but not bad for health. not too expensive but will last long please. also how can i know if i have problem with my gas cooker? when i cook i cant see oil no matter how much i put?
Hey Latif, long time subscriber, love your videos. what is the phrase you say whenever you add something to the pan? would like to know the meaning/translation. I think I'll find myself saying the same thing when I cook !
A question, if I may--when you say "mutton" for this dish, do you mean older lamb, or goat meat? We get confused about what overseas folks mean when they use those terms. Lamb is very expensive here in Massachusetts, but since the people from the Spanish-speaking islands have become our neighbors over the years, goat has become more available.
For those of us that do have a functional Pressure Cooker / Instant Pot, how does the technique differ? Cook off the onions and initial spices, add meat & tomatoes, put on pressure cooker lid and bring to pressure - high or low? - cook for ????, lower heat & release pressure, add second round of spices, bring back to simmer, cook for another ???? minutes?
Yes. If you put everything on pressure cooker before adding the spices for 20 mins until whistle. You then reduce the liquid then add spices then a bit of water then simmer down to correct consistency.
I have stopped watching you because I went plant based.....any chance of a recipe.? Do you have to say bismilah every time you put an ingredient in? Kind regards

It needs to be room temperature and whisk before adding to hot curry.

Mutton should be cheaper than lamb as its quite tough unless cooked properly.

Nearly everyone has a pressure cooker in India and Bangladesh. I would never be without one
Many recipes call for two whistles three whistles etc
why do you take the tomato skin off? love this dish by the way
Just for presentation however you can leave it no problem
