I have spent the best part of a year deciding between Volvo, kenworth and Pete’s.......because of the care and dedication to your customers, I have decided that my next truck will be a Pete, thanks to you for the most part. Steve you do a remarkable job, and you pay attention to your customers and the industry. The little, but subtle things you do to the trucks and customers, is nothing short of phenomenal. Please keep doing what your doing....and I am going to see you soon......God willing, busting my but to stack this money. My current truck of 10 years is a 2007 international high rise sleeper, still looks good, but has 1.7 million on it, I want something new that rides good and would be a pleasure to drive everyday, and also be the show stopper! Thanks for what you do, a true patriot to this industry that is getting so hard to enjoy like once upon a time.
Thank you Errol, truly humbled by those kind words. I know how hard you guys and gals work, its not for the timid or the weak. When making a life changing business decision, I want you armed with all of the knowledge possible. Keep building those stacks and contact me anytime along the way so when its time to pull the trigger, we are standing tall and fully prepared. Cant wait to see you in a new left lane pavement pounder....
Great Job Steve, my neighbor in Norcal bought from you last year and bob tailed it home. He hauls produce from salad bowl of america (Salinas) to Florida 2x a month.
Wow I was looking for you Steve, I was very impressed with your posts, I'm in N.Y. and very interested in purchasing one of your vehicles, I will be calling you soon, thanks for posting, good job
I have seen kids go crazy when their at Toys R Us. But after seeing these many Peterbilt's for the first time I know how they feel. I can honestly say I could not pick a color... Jesus Christ

Dallas Peterbilt off of loop 12 is the biggest Petebilt dealer. I bought my truck from over there and it was brand new. I counted over 200 something Pete's when I was there.
They sell more trucks, (389 579 567 etc) that is true. We sell more owner operator 389's than anyone in the country, fact. I get my numbers from PACCAR
Could you go into detail about the finance options, like the average down payment required, how hard is it to get financing, do most guys come with they're own personal bank doing the finance etc.etc... I talked to my bank man before about a new truck, he didn't seem interested in trying to get me that much for a new truck
Local street level banks do not want anything to do with commercial trucks, period. One of my favorite stories, Cali customer walks into his local Wells Fargo that he has been with for 25+ years, he has perfect credit, they say no to a truck loan. He calls me, I get him approved in 2 hours, he flys in, loves the truck, he asks "Who did you get me financed through?" when I said Wells Fargo Commercial he just sank. His local bank didnt know or didnt care to send him to the "commercial" division. That being said I have 20+ commercial lenders. Down payments are commonly 10-20% with decent to good credit. If your credit is so-so but you have a stack of cash (25-50k) I have options there too. If you owe back child support, tax liens, or have had a repo of any kind in the last 5 years, I cant do anything for you. Call me and I will give you all the info I can. Used trucks can be easier to get into and I do have a nice selection. Sometimes you need to be in a used truck for 2 years before they will make the leap to finance you on a new one. No 2 situations are the same, there is no standard answers when it comes to commercial financing. If anyone has questions, call me. That is what I am here for. 918-808-5638
buy a glider dipshit. unless you like junk emissions motors, costly , repairs and down time and early motor overhauls. Are you out of your mind????????
@PeterbiltSteve does Peterbilt offer a 70" sleeper with the windows on both sides but also with a sleeper door? I would eventually like to have 2 windows and also a sleeper door
Beautiful trucks wish I had the money for one of those just hauling van don't need all the horsepower something more efficient would be awesome something setup for 80,000 lb would be great in the hundred forty hundred fifty thousand price range
gads i wish i hadn't been forced to retire and had had the money to buy a truck, if i couldn't get the kenworth i wanted i'd of gone for all the options on a peterbuilt, cause i've driven both long and short nose, and if you can drive those on those little streets in NJ, then driving them anywhere else is not a problem
hello sir i m from Germany and my english is not realy good sorry for this but 1 question i have how much is this truck can you give me a internet site? i need more information
Peterbilt Steve cool thanks. I'm looking into buying my own truck and trailer. If I'm able to what do I do about special order a truck? I live in Louisiana. Would I have to drive up there so we can discuss options or via text or email?
I just wish they would add another Engine supplier... Cummins burned me with a bad overhead on an '08, and Paccar 13L not enough power......DD16 PLEASE?
Peterbilt Steve I get what you mean.....I drove 2 a 450 efficiency in a T680, and a 550 performance in a 379.....450 was kinda blah but who can argue with 8 mpg, the 550 was like another animal all together, impressive, especially the Jake...... I'm going to wait and see how things shake out with Eld and probably come see you next spring.....by then I'll probably be able to put 50% down.... like most of us legends in our own mind... I'm particular....so it's gonna be two trips....one to spec....and one to pickup....and my 02 cents....the paint to match chicken lights look much better than the chrome..... especially on the panel between fenders and battery box, the rear mount def tank is really growing on me..... but Steve let's draw one up that matches the diameter, look and hang height of the fuel tank....and btw hat's off to guys doing The new deck plates.......other than slippery when wet... If combined with an aluminum fifth wheel the look and cleanliness.would be great
What would the price different be between say a 48 inch flat top over a day cab Not sire which way i wanna go id rather have the sleeper Dont need it at the moment but id rather have it just in case Thanks Steve

What was the replacement truck for the 579 extended hood truck with 800 horse power cat motor.
579 is the replacement for 386 387 587 and others
Gorgeous trucks ! 337 's ? Looking into the possibility of a new rollback .
Yes, and yes
Beautiful trucks wish I had the money for one of those just hauling van don't need all the horsepower something more efficient would be awesome something setup for 80,000 lb would be great in the hundred forty hundred fifty thousand price range

Steve, I went to the Peterbilt website. I didn't see all their colors. Where should I look?
Embarrassed to say there is nowhere on the internet to see all of the colors. I have a chart in my desk....
Damn I want one
Whats the gross weight on those first few?
How do I get one at 18? No credit? And how much these cost? $150,000+
Any 389 short wheelbase single rear axle 48 in sleeper
Ay Dios yo nesesitando una así lo más rápido posible..y tan lejos y tan caras..
Te recogeré en el aeropuerto y es solo dinero mi amigo
Dream machines legendary brown
love that color
I would only buy glider those days !
Better hurry before they are discontinued....
"hoods & smokers" 👍
Real nice trucks I just wish we got a better look of them instead of just the side of them and the grille
I have other videos for that
Any advantage in these versions vs a glider kit ?
price, insurance, resale, financing, California freight, warranty, etc
Do I have to be picked up at the airport or can I just walk in there?
Ill pick u up then we can grab a bite before we talk trucks
Hey,Steve what asking range price of those 389's and 579's
160-170-180
hello sir i m from Germany and my english is not realy good sorry for this but 1 question i have
how much is this truck can you give me a internet site? i need more information
Maybe I missed it But where are you??
How long are you allowed to lease a truck for 3 years 5 years 10 years?
We dont do any leases
I meant to say Finance how long do you finance a truck
👍
How do I go about financing a tractor trailer with not so great credit
Start saving your pennies and work on getting that credit cleaned up. The only thing that can overcome bad credit is a fat stack of cash.
Do you guys have automatics?
Have you 6×6 peterbilt 389
Its a dream ..
can you install headache racks on a truck if so how much
do it all the time. From 1200-10000
Peterbilt Steve cool thanks. I'm looking into buying my own truck and trailer. If I'm able to what do I do about special order a truck? I live in Louisiana. Would I have to drive up there so we can discuss options or via text or email?

Where are you at? and what is the Big horsepower I can get?
Tulsa 605hp
Rolling art
Sure is....
Too bad there are DEF tanks on most/all. Only a 6NZ or 3406E for me, thanks. Same with the mirrors...need to spec the 389s with those aero mirrors.
2:21 that's the rig right there... how much? i want it.
how many trucks do you have in total?!
Currently 60 389's
What is the mpg and weight?
17500-19300 and 6-6.5 is common
When are the 2019 s rolling in ?
They are here now
Can I buy a glider kit 389 and get it custom made in automatic transmission
I just wish they would add another Engine supplier... Cummins burned me with a bad overhead on an '08, and Paccar 13L not enough power......DD16 PLEASE?
I dont blame ya on being mad at Cummins but at least stop by somewhere and take a drive behind an X15. The good days are back....
Peterbilt Steve I get what you mean.....I drove 2 a 450 efficiency in a T680, and a 550 performance in a 379.....450 was kinda blah but who can argue with 8 mpg, the 550 was like another animal all together, impressive, especially the Jake......
