Still running strong. Have completed close to 8k kms on it. No complaints. Also consider the Michelin Pilot Road 5 tyres. Tested them on the track at the new RR310 launch and they were really good too. Not sure about wet grip with them but they should hold up well too.
Hi Oggy, great review. I own a 2014 RC390, currently have Michelin Pilot Street, not happy with the performance. Looking to change to either Metzeler M5 or Apollo Alpha H1, I am looking for performance, tire life and cost does not matter, could you please suggest?
Hey Roy. While the metzellers are undoubtedly great performance tyres, they're a softer compound and wear out quicker than other tyres. The Apollos offer a great balance between performance and longevity and perform well in the rains too. I've seen a few Indian California Superbike School coaches use the Apollos on their personal race bikes... I think that itself is a testament to how well they perform 😊. Stay safe bud ✌🏻
@@OggyF Thanks Oggy, my rides are very short, within Goa itself, and very few. So tyre life is not major concern. Looking for best grip between those two choices. Also saw your review on powertronics ecu, great job 👍 contemplating on that as well...

The Streets are hard compound tyres that will give you a lot of life but may compromise on the performance. The Apollos will give you a good blend of both. I wouldn't suggest changing just one tyre at a time though.. It's better to change both together or stuck to the same model as the tread patterns at the front and back are designed to work together.
After putting these tyres I am experiencing my handle to be very stiff and not responding like Metz specially when I am taking turn either ways or making a u turn... I have just changed my tyres and have run only 50km... The stiffness and heaviness of the handle is bothering me big time... Any help and ideas will be appreciated..

Hey oggy! I was wondering which tyre u would recommend as u have used both ceat zoom rad X1 and the alpha H1. I'm confused for which I should go for cause the stock tyre on the R15 V3 aren't the best 😅
Between the 2, the H1. Purely because I've used it in the rain and it works great.
@@OggyF thankyou so much 😁👍🏻 next tyre is the H1
Wow wow😍😍👍
really useful
hey Oggy was wondering if you could share the software you use to edit your videos. Thanks in Advance.

How does your bike has abs. I guess your model is 2014 ktm rc 390? At first generation rc doesn't come with it?
I believe all 390s came with abs. Only the first Gen 200 didn't get it.
What about grip performance in non abs bikes both in wet and on gravel
so better than Metz m5? frankly i have not experimented with other brands on my 390Duke.
Ceat zoom rad x1 or apollo alpha h1?which one would be better for duke 390
Unfortunately didn't get to test the Ceats inthe rain so not sure how well they perform on wet roads. The Apollos worked very well in the wet so I'd recommend them.
Apollo's are steel belted.. Ceat/MRf offers fabric belted tyres, those aren't real radials
Is it suitable for my 15
Would it be an overkill for a 155cc gixxer sf ?
Hey Oggy, how are these tyres compared to the Metzeler M7 RRs?
Bro this tyres r comfortable for duke 125
