      Try getting the imported Michelin PSR. The locally sourced ones are very very inferior to them. An mrf revz would be a much better option than the locally made Michelins.

    Good video bro. Finally from a person who can speak coherent sentences in English and on topic!! Keep it up. You've earned my subscription at least and respect. Unlike most people who make unnecessarily lengthy videos with little information or meaningful content.. you deserve millions of subscribers but unfortunately as our country is full of uneducated people, they will prefer videos in Tamil or kannada or Hindi or malyalam with shitty music in the background. But don't let that dishearten you, you just need to be consistent and over time, people will understand and respect your work!! Cheers bro! 🍾🥂

    Good to see that most of the tyre manufacturer providing tyres to almost all the motorcycle out there.. but still their one motorcycle The Bajaj Avenger which has only one tyre manufacturer for the rear tyre 130/90 R15 MRF tyre. Most of the tyre manufacturers ignore this motorcycle. Now few may argue that there is a tyre called Ralco Speed Blaster with a up size of 140/90 R15 off road tyre, I would say that a off road tyre on cruiser will completely change the handling and characteristics of the bike..the stock MRF tyre doesn't gives u confidence while breaking, leaning.. we the Bajaj Avenger owners looking for few options for rear tyre with stock size i.e 130/90 R15.. If anyone from tyre manufacturer reading this comment , please provide us a rear tyre for Bajaj Avenger, size 130/90 R15.

      Apollo ALPHA H1 - good blend of performance and longevity, Ceat Zoom rad - budget tyre that's great for the city and a bit of touring, Michelin Pilot street - long life and good in the rains too from what I've heard.

      @@richard9953 if you're buying new tyres, make sure they're both of the same brand and type. They're (front and back tread patterns) designed to work together. I haven't heard a lot of reviews of the Diablo rosso 2s though so can't say.

    Can i upsize the tyre size oggy? Like for Duke 250 the stock one on the rear wheel is 150/60-17 can i put 160 or 180/60-17 tyres? Is it possible.. And if yes what will be the result?

    • @OggyF
      @OggyF  3 года назад +1

      Should be possible provided the swingarm accommodates it. But also keep in mind that a wider tyre will affect handling... A 160 maybe not so much but a 180 probably would slow down how responsive your bike feels in the turns.

    Hi there Oggy ....loved all of your videos, you see I've been riding on the metzellers for about a decade ....wanted to try a cheap set this time on one of my 390s, after seeing this video I was pretty convinced after what you had to say about this set, it's just that when ever I've seen the tyre (the ceat), the profile looks alot flatter than compared to the metzellers, hence wanted to know the cornering ability as compared to the metzellers....also wanted to know if you've had the opportunity to ride them on wet and damp surfaces and their performance on the same..also wanted to know of the compounds of the tyre are in any way similar to each other( i.e. the metzellers and the ceat)

    • @OggyF
      @OggyF  5 лет назад +1

      The Ceats are good but may not give you the same level of performance that the metzellers offer. The tyre profile seems flat but once installed, it curves a bit more. I've not had the chance to try them in the wet unfortunately but I have tried the Apollo alpha H1 tyres and they worked very well in the wet too. Do consider those as well.
