Just always remember one thing about negative people with negative comments. They can make their own videos and post them to their channel showing what they feel is the proper process to use. I welded miles of pipe in the 70s on the North slope pipeline. Lots of 6010 root with 7018 cap in -80 degree F temps. You’re doing a fine job with what you have to work with and that’s the part that counts. Enjoyed your content 👍
🇺🇸🦅🌏⚓️🇺🇸
Keep up the good work sir. Always be willing to learn. I've been mig welding for 32 years, mainly pipe fabrication, and I'm still learning. There are days that I feel like I've just started, then there are days, other welders are asking me for advice. Stay humble, keep learning as it doesn't matter how old you are, keep learning. Keep up the great videos sir.
I love your videos keep them coming your awsome don't listen to the haters !! There just jealous fantastic work and thanks to your boss for allowing you to make videos
Hi Calvin, thank you for the great videos. I am a welder for 22 years now, and I enjoy watching them. All the best to you 👍
Thanks dude
duuuuuuudddee keep them vids comin, you got the gear and the ideas they bring, I'm inspired and uplifted bro.. never stop learning , yours is just another way of getting it done!! blessings from TEXAS!!! 💪🏾🔥👍🏾
Please don’t let these keyboard warriors get to you. Keep making videos, your content is top notch
Keep your gas nozzle as clean as possible, if you can get yourself a sanding sponge, use it to smooth your drag against the pipe as you apply the root pass and it keeps the outer nozzle smooth with less bumps.
I’ve always wanted to do pipe welding! You are a treasure trove of knowledge for a rookie like me. Keep it up, great work.
Dear Calvin, always great to see you work, loved your comments about not criticizing how you do things, you get it done and that is what is important.....I learn something from all your videos, even though I will probably never use most of it, I learned something. again, thanks for great content and quality video, cheers from USA, PAUL
top your work man I've been following you here on RUclips for a while, I'm also a welder here in Brazil in the city of Castro State of Paraná, I think your equipment is very top, congratulations for your great work.
Slick work. I enjoy seeing the different fixtures and methods you use fitting and handling the pipe spools. The fitters I work with could learn a lot from you.
Also...alot of people will dismiss your skills...especially when all the welding they do is watching it on RUclips and they think they know some shit...don't be discouraged about that. I've been welding for 10 years and I'm still shitty at it. I can run a bead..but I've seen waaay better. And you my young friend have a great skill set. Don't let trolls dictate your level of experience. Your doing just fine and your channel highlights alot of very important areas that alot of welders fall short in technique. Keep up the good work buddy...
Thanks buddy, just want i wanted to hear
Jesse Lute you hit the nail on the head. This guy would put my old job's pipe shop filled with "Journeyman" pipefitters to shame. If I had my own pipe shop I would try like hell to hire this guy on
Very Nice a real work of art
I think the fronius tps/i is the dream of every welder, for homade and pro use.you have great skils!
I would go with EWM. Not because that they are better (they are hardly at exact the same level), just because of the service.
But Fronius makes some nasty machines.
@@Nanogenium i own a kemppi kms 400,15 years old only service i done is twice a year open it and clean the dust.If i spend 8-10k to buy it why i need service?
Nice work, good video. Your approach to the job at hand is very good thinking
I miss your videos so much! I haven't seen any in about half a year. Dang RUclips algorithm!
Thank you sir👍 your video motivate me more to learn become fitter, your're great fitter
You are the legend to me. thnx for sharing !
looks good from here. i always did as i was told. works out better. the only comment i can make about the states is that a lot of people have never been out of their neighborhood and use that reality as a data point when comparing welding procedures in other countries. started an argument one time by posting the work of an irish pipefittter/welder that was doing all his work with 6013. absolutely beautiful work. the american pipe welders were having no part of it; it was heresy.
Great as always. Always enjoy watching. Wish I had chance to work with material that thick. Stuck MIG welding 1-2mm galv steel.
Goood i love your hands. From korea
Great videos and great work...love your channel. Keep it up.
Fantastic video as normal. I’ve been looking forward to it. love how you explain how you do everything fantastic skills and work👍👍
Amazing dude thanks
@@ARCONEWELDING N👹I👹G👹A👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Ive always enjoy your videos. There very good. I hope you still try to share how you fabricate your pipe its very interesting.
Fronius welders are unbelievable.
It's cool bro!!!
Looks fun
That’s looking good keep it up nice video thanks for keeping them coming
Great video and I always learn something from your content. Keep them coming
good skills and nice job
great work like usual dont let there goofs discourage you
Very good.
“By no means an expert”
… knocks out ten 12” welds a day.. lol
Excellent work my friend! I’m modeling my shop after your bays lol
Another brilliant video love the content 👍
Very nice work!
Beautiful root!!!
i was fairly above average xray welding, but your job is more relaxing, welders enjoy "when' i make a mistake lol, good times
Good job👍👍👍👍
keep sending them great videos...love the fabrication...and you are a great welder ..and i have seen a lot of them and i am not certified welder but i can weld good at elctrode and mig,!!...tig not so good...!!
You the best my idol From philippines
@tecproducts Hey Wayne, Check out minute 6:19 Your sticker is on screen for all to see :) Great work Like the way you check the 45's
Awesome video as usual. 😎
Good
Good work bruv, gaza dem
Please make a video what are your wear for welding 👍
Hello one question please how long it takes you to finish the spool thank you very much
Cool !!!👍👍👍
Love the videos brother question why don't u ever use squares? I've always leveled and square my fittings and pipes
Sos otro nivel Bro 👍👍👍👍
You should try Twin Puls For Gapping
wish i had a chest harness for my respirator i wear mine on a belt and farted at work one day it got sucked up and blown right into my face those things dont filter out smells
Question...are you in the maritime industry? This looks alot like ship piping and hvac piping. Just curious
Its all for land usually for heating and ventilation
Can you do a review on you speedglas g5-01
I have one already on my channel
Everything is fine, but if the pipe is insulated, then the pivot arm cannot be welded and the joint will be non-swivel
what does the strap for the 3m adflow box named i would prefer the back fitting before my belt right now im using belt locked adflow but would like it to wear it like a back pack
Does that fronius machine not have a cmt root function?
Im not sure if mine does but it probably can do it but from my understanding you need a different torch that can retract the wire to run cmt
@@ARCONEWELDING not sure it needs a different torch? Probably a narrower shroud to direct the gas right down into a prep though. If CMT is anything like Miller's RMD rooting mode, it's like a modified pulse mode. The machine senses when the wire touches the puddle, bumps voltage up to seperate the wire, then drops back down again to cool the puddle, hundreds of times a second, keeping the puddle cool and controlled.
If i understood it right that is😄😄
Any mig welding job vekancy?
Hello my name is David, I really like your work, could you tell me how much separation you leave for the first penetration pass in this pipe?
Usually it's 3mm gap for root run, but you can use any size gap you are comfortable with as long as the overall length does not exceed the blueprint
don't worry about what the ( welding natzi's) have to say there more then likely googling half the shit their typing lol just weld to your cad spec's no more no less :) your doing a good job mate
Looks like the first layer is welded with lsc mode? I got the same fronius at my working place.
Looks like standard synergic with root.
Muito bom mesmo
Question......1 или 1.2 ???
I noticed there is milk there bud? is that for the galvanised welding?? lol
Naa i drink it 😅
🙏🙏
is it fronius transsteel 5000?
Naa its the tps400i
Ottima tubazione mi sembra un 12 " pollici, la saldatura però, non è ad Argon, bensì a filo continuo. ✌️
Se le puede poner traductor, excelente video
don't have helper?
Naa i work on my own
Or think of it this way. Shop sends out bad threads to the o-let. Field has to spend time, energy and manpower hours ($$$) to fix, retap the threads. Simple 30 seconds of work will save a potential hours or more.
GJ making this young youtuber sad, GJ negative people. Please go and talk bad to your "friends" and family, and see how they treat you
All pipe fitters tack onto the pipe,if they don't then how can they be pipe fitters? A tack can be cleaned off so tell them to start fabricating from the raw as you do, many can't!!
Depends what standard level is being worked to. ASME or EN1090 Class 4, with either, even an arc strike outside of any weld preps is an NDT failure.
The rapid heating and cooling of the area around it will cause a spot on the pipe with less tensile strength due to it hardening.
Commented on another of Calvin's videos about it a long time ago, and he said the clients they work for dont really care as most of it is only HVAC pipework.
You started tacking balance weights on pipework for oil/gas or chemical plants, especially high pressure, you wouldnt last a week before you got the boot.
